I don't think that's such a big problem when you know what exactly to expect. Imo faction should have been there just to control those encounters. To make sure that some retards won't decide to abuse this freedom for PvP. I think it might have worked this way. A sort of thing that exists for PvP prefering players, but which also doesn't let them screw around with it. I'd join such group for sure.

so if you say we did not RP then there must be something wrong there i was RP with you all the time with command /s when you was not close to see you in my scanner and when you was close i was RP with you. i would understand if you are not in my scanner and i forget to do /s that send the message to the whole system. so lets say i forgot to do /s "" i am sure i didnt forget"" how come you didnt see when we was close to each others what i was writing ?


and it was not only me even homeros the person n a gunboat he wanted to have a PVP with your small fighter he asked you to go away he said i am warning you leave our space and you are fine he repeated it many times that you are a threat for humans and you should stay away or he will open fire and then after many warnings and RP informing you he gonna attack he started to shoot you.

Was i imagining all this scenario ? well yes i had a couple of joints yesterday thats why i was in a good mood and up for RP and PVP but come on i didnt imagine all this just coz of couple of joints lmao.


AND YES i would love to RP with you again. it can be even arranged i dont think this would be against the rules i have done that couple of times with some people in here who was friendly and nice we was with BMF accounts and our that person was with Corsair BS and Homeros came with Armed Forces BS and we had a nice RP with him then we had a nice PVP. then we moved to CONN to keep on PVPing.

Same like Shagy the other day we was already talking in TS and he was bored then he came with pirate Char to NL and he engaged some of us while we know already its him we they did some RP then PVP i find it more fun to have a PVP within the RP instead of going to CONN so its 2 in one.

Nomad ''roleplay'' should be flying around and scaring the crap out of players by engaging them on sight, no bullshizzle attached. This approach would make people organize defense parties to protect other players.

I´m pretty sure it´s not restricted in any way, I own one too. There is no reason to do it, its major purpose is to give players option to try Nomad roleplay outside of Omicrons (where is hard to find anyone to interact with sometimes, while in houses you can simply wait near gate or lane), what is traded for very limited PvP potential of LF.

I can defend Shinju on this, because Nomad simply wanted to understand how the mankind reproduce and it was a really awkward for characters in roleplay, explaining that "you can't simply have sex with one you have met" then Nomad was like "elaborate", and porn kicked in out of sudden.

Truthfully, it was a very spine-chilling experience, since you felt like "one wrong word and you go to sleep with space fishes".

I think Spazzy was referring to the RP getting coated in all the telepathy and asterisks. It can be a bit of a turn off for getting involved in the RP.

@ThatOnePerson And yes sure it helped me understanding the idea and the concept All of your comments guys is actually adding something new for me and it would be very nice if every time someone see an action from a new player that is not right in RP or rules that we can address the incident in here in General Discussions so it would be like a team work in helping instead of one single person giving a speech that sometimes doesn't sound like helping.

Role Play in my understanding till now that you imagine a Char you build the outside lines of it according to the ID and be that person who if flaying that ship for that faction not you as who you are in real life and thats the pretty of having more than one Char with more than one faction to enjoy all kind of Diff RP. For example if there is a military person gonna speak in a specific strict way in a tone of ordering sometimes depending on the situation and his job is to protect his faction or people or group from any enemy. so you have to act within that Char and put yourself in his shoes and act accordingly. and for sure if you chose to that Char to be corrupted Police man for example but if the Char from Outcasts for example you would need to stick to a name which would be Italian or Spanish as the ORG history say about Hispania sleeping ship.

Another example you can chose for your Char to be and Old guy who is grumpy and have some problems. can be a woman who hates men. can be a manipulative criminal who have no heart due to some psycho problems related to his Childhood.

The Ideas is unlimited and you have the free will to chose whatever you want for your own Char as long as you can fit it within the History of Freelancer which is the Story of freelancer and the ID rules and the faction story.

That is actually why some people complain when there is no RP before PVP. it doesn't make sense someone bean another in the street without a reason. there has to be an indecent then a problem both of them doesn't agree upon then the action which is PVP.

For example from real life a thief stealing a car. police man sees him. he stop him and try to investigate. who are you show me your ID where you going what you doing here where you coming from. then he arrest him and take him to the police office, so there is a reason for the police man to open fire if the Thief try to run or try to use a weapon.
