I didn't know people would actually like my idea for a model, proposed to Swallow as a (half-)joke. Yet this being replacement for Spatial would make sense, since I still remember how pocket old Spatial from 4.84 version of the mod was:

Because the models they replaced (Firefly and X-Shuttle) were of Bretonian design.

Because giving things an actual background is nice? See Renzu. It doesn't affect anyone's ability to use them or their availability in any case. The Serenity's Bretonian roots have been in place since its original awful import model, so the new model (and by extension ship line) seem to have inherited it.

But no one really cares that Bretonia, while being in a state of war, keeps engineering ships that will be exported to the edge worlds.

I really wish the Spatial had kept some element of the interesting old (import) design, specifically the asymmetry of it was cool.

I like the idea of adapting the very pretty X-Shuttle or whatever it's called now, but could it get some funky engine or wing detail that makes it asymmetrical?
