Thirty-five years ago I was born on Planet Holstein in a rather wealthy family. My parents earned everything by themselves and them alone which I am proud of. I had typical Rheinlandish childhood and as every male boy I wanted to be a pilot of a spaceship. When I finished my school I moved to military academy with a goal to become a solider. I think I am living my father's dream as he wanted to join the military, but was unable to do so because his left arm was disabled due to an accident in Frankfurt system when he got attacked by rebel forces. Things have gotten better since my childhood, but I still count myself lucky to have the opportunity to write to even you today, given the state of our local economy. I've been skiing on these mountains almost since I could walk, so you can rest assured I have the reflexes necessary to pilot well. I've held a civilian pilot's license since I was sixteen, too - and I passed first time. I was born on August 17. 794 A.S. on Planet Hamburg as the oldest child to mother called Irmingard and father called Werner. My mother works as a history professor in Hochblassen Gymnasium and my father works as a flight instructor for small craft vessels ranging from fighters to bombers and small cargo freighters in Hochblassen academy of astronautics in city of Hochblassen. I also have siblings, one younger brother called Peter, third child to our parents, and two sisters called Ivonne, second child, and Monika, fourth child.
I started my education at age 6. I finished primary school called Ersbergschule, at the age of 14, and went to secondary (high) school called Überlingen Gymnasium. It was my opinion that I shouldn't go to the same school where my mother was teaching because that could cause conflict of interest for her and I could get accused for having favoritism by other students. To prevent any necessary problems to me and my mother I decided to go to cities other school and I was supported by both my mother and my father. Four years later i finished secondary school and along with it I also finished Hochblassen academy of astronautics under training of my father and learned to operate fighter, bomber and freighter class vessels.
At the age of 18, I decided to venture into space and went to Bergische college for deep space exploration, surveying and mining thinking that would be the closest place to space one civilian could get to. The college was hard and it lasted for six long years. During that time we had prove our selves in practice that we truly learned everything college thought us. And that's where my experience from Hochblassen academy of astronautics came in handy because the space was occasionally raided by various pirate groups like Red Hessians, Unioners and many lonely pirates looking to score a quick cash or an easy kill on the young, inexperienced and unexpected students and cadets. Since before my arrival there have been recorded a few students deaths by those pirates groups and those pirates thought that this raid would be just another easy picking. But that's where they were wrong, because their pirating skills were good for plundering regular civilians only and their combat skills were horrific at best. Besides me, the only other pilot with experience was our mining instructor, Klaas Heufer. We flew together and acted as wingmans to each other. After a not so long fight we destroyed two pirate fighter class vessels and scared other three into retreating. Since they encountered more resistance then usual they pulled back before it was to late for the rest of the surviving pirates. I had more encounters with other pirates during my six years of training but those encounters were nothing more then chasing them off because as soon as they recognized Klaas and me flying ships to intercept them they turned back, probably because they learned their lesson the first time. From then on they didn't try to pirate anymore cadets attending Bergische college. At this point It hit me, my fighter skills to good to be wasted on mining and with adequate guidance could also be used for other purposes, but at that time I didn't know where to use them.
After finishing college, at the age of 24, I started prospecting less explored parts of Rheinland systems. The job, even thou not paid to much, was enough to meet my credit demands. My exploration missions consisted of flying to remote parts of Rheinland and scanning for possible mining deposits in endless asteroids fields in our house space and then returning to my home planet Hamburg. If I found anything I would sell it to one of the mining contractors. I've been doing this job for two years and learned to deal with close encounters and tough situation with pirates. One days after coming back home I witnessed first hand Libertonian bombardement of my home planet and destruction they caused, plasma holes throughout my home city some even near my mothers school, and thought if only I had a suitable ship for that situation, maybe I could have done something. But then it hit me, one man cannot win a war, but one man can make a difference in it's outcome.
Day after the attack, I finally realised that my skills would be of way better use to Rheinland Military. I spoke with my family and even thou they hesitated at the beginning they approved my request to go to recruiting center to join Rheinland Military and teach some of those Libertonians that Rheinlanders are tough people and that we never crumble when being outnumbered and outgunned. The same counts not just for them, but for all Rheinland pirate groups, even those I met during my college days. I bet they still remember the miner who beated them with a simple mining ship, but with a little luck they will soon meet me in a real combat and be judged for crimes they committed upon Rheinland citizens.

I dont know anything about my birthplace, I raised in the Engel orphanage on Planet New Berlin, I dont know anything about my real Parents one thing I know is they leave me at the
orphanage when I was 2 months old. I had a normal life more or less, I enrolled to school with 6 years like other children in my age. With 13 years i randomly detected my protective instinct when a bully was trying to rob one of my class mate, i succesfully beat down a 15 year old guy and could safe my class mate. With 18 I finally left school and got moved in to regular Military duty for 9 months. In this time I was stationed on Battleship Strausberg, I passed trough flight school and educated in fighter fighting tactics and bomber tactics, in this time I figured out that the Rheinland Military was my life, I met something like a "family" which i never had between the comrades in my company. With 19 my duty was over and I started my somehow life as a Freelancer, with 22 I had the chance to meet a old comrade from my regular duty on Strausberg, we were talking about old times and our life now I escorted him trough Omega-7 to Freistadt Base, we got ambushed by a wing of Red Hessians, I did everything to save his life, unsuccesful, they managed to destroy his ship...
In a moment of silence Rheinland Military appeared from Battleship Schwerin and together we managed to destroy all of the Hessians vessels, from this moment I knew where I belong to, and who I want to serve to, I want to defend Rheinland from all its threats, defend all Citizens of Rheinland.
