If it's now a discordian ship, then might I suggest building a new ship? The Persephone is THE Zoner flagship of sorts, that is based on lore bigger than TAZ. So for you to want to change a ship that is part of all Zoner lore to a degree is a little selfish (no offense). I'd rather see TAZ (or whatever group you guys are deciding to advance into that are steering away from Zoners as a whole) make a new ship/enhance the Persephone you have in your possession, instead of changing the base Persephone. Unless all Zoners have a say into it.

The Discordian bit was a bit of truth and joke. And you are correct on the matter of both making a new ship and Zoners having say into it. OSI currently is assisting into some help on its refit and Im pretty sure in the end they'll enjoy having a good time to study the final product. After that point I will say its up to Eris what happens from there.

if i had to say, i would say that the idea is to enhance and modify our persephone resulting with an independent model, (even though it's currently the only persephone, not counting the Phoenix one whose circumstances inRP are ?), because our Persephone, as Bret has said in this thread, is a warship as it's purpose as opposed to standard zoner ships which are accidental warship types.

I'd kind of back up Drrobe here. It might make a lot more sense to RP the decommissioning of the Persephone (its an old ship that is .. in RP continously falling apart anyway) to a ship graveyard or i don't know - a museum if you want. At the same time you could/should RP building a new vessel that suits your needs.

I do not think you get into any SRP trouble or doubts when you go that way. And i'd kind of feel a little unhappy if the name and old RP of the Persephone was applied to something "alien" to what it was meant to be.

Halcyon Model isnt whats current THyr. 4.85 model not 4.86. The 4.86 model I think is still being used by another group?
