Another small report. In my patrols around the sector of Bretonia I ran across an engagement between the BAF and unknown vessels. At first it appeared to be an engagement against the Gallic forces but that soon changed when a Kusari like vessel showed up out of nowhere trying to assist their crippled forces. The BAF paid me for taking down the hostile vessels and thus I did. The BAF however was willing to give the enemy a shot at them so I only fought when necessary, this however did result in a BPA bomber being shot down and later a Templar being torn to bits.

Obviously they tried to cheap out themselves when they saw there was no hope for them to come out on top of this one, not that this influence my pay, it just made the whole fight a little shorter. One of the BAF had a little angel sitting on his shoulder as he managed to make it out alive with a minimal amount of hull integrity.
The message is of course to confirm passage of our vessels, as well as the use of the aforementioned Z-8550 Pirate Train vessels legally for procurement of resources and trade. Should this not be sufficient, I am able to answer any queries you might have about our forces.

Upon hearing the distress call, we recently arrived at Battleship Norfolk with the Eidolon Wraith, powered down and on standby to oversee what exactly is going on. It appears that we arrived during a calm intermission of these raids too - heh. I took the time to question one of your Lieutenant Commanders, William Sutton, concerning the situation.
With your permission, we can trace the local area's background energy interferences where they're coming from, and analyse deeply how bad the situation is before we deploy any attack wings. Additionally, we can re-route some logistics to bring some auxiliary supplies.
Admiral Hall, I'm interested to know just how dire this situation is. I cannot fathom how the Corsairs could potentionally take exploit of this conflict. (Or maybe not, if they truly do lack a basic brain anatomy.)

It did happen rather suddenly. Their first wave was defeated by our garrison about two weeks ago, which is why I assume they sent forces this large at the time I recorded my previous message. They have retreated, for whatever reason. That has allowed us to repair, regroup and integrate reinforcements -- as well as find allies.
This is the formal message I promised, so I will be specific. Hereby, I grant Battlegroup Auxesia to station one (1) capital ship of their choice in the Omega-3 system, the name of which you will inform me about. It will be allowed to assist wherever the Kingdom of Bretonia needs it, but once the enemy has been pushed back or destroyed, the ship will return to Omega-3, or move outside of the Kingdom's borders at will. We are not forcing you to aid us, but we deem it a good chance to hit our common enemies.
Additionally and perhaps even needless to say, the capital ship in question is permitted an escort wing of strike craft, gunboats and logistics ships. Whether the logistics ships may be those which you requested or not, you will be informed by the Police Authority. If we require any sort of scanning, we will let you know.
Unfortunately, we can only spare one active capital vessel, which is the Eidolon Wraith for now - which can provide flexible hit and runs to their forces in the border regions. Admittedly, we'd like to try and keep the damage costs as minimal as possible, as this is... quite an exotic 'specimen' of a vessel.
I've requested the deployment of the Hussar, Basilisk wings and along with ACV-Redeemer - an Inquisitor Gunboat and ACV-Viper - a Bottlenose Gunship - to help secure the region.
The Wraith will take leave to the Omega-Three system for now, but to ensure that communication does not fail or get corrupted in transmission, we deployed a temporary buoy to ensure the channels don't corrupt again, incase we need to provide you of an early warning of their approach, should they get detected attempting to strike again.
Indeed, I don't see this as an obligation, and neither do our people or does our line of duty - but as you mentioned, we do indeed share a common problem. The Hessians and Corsairs. The Hessians have been recently attempting acts of piracy upon our vessels within the regions of Rheinland, and maybe it's an optimal time to remind them that they are not the 'big boys of the playground'.

She seems to be in a different background - what represents a spacey maintenance shaft with tunnels on both sides at the end of the room - and a droid with it's circuit board open in the background, some blankets, various tools, a packet of prawn crackers, smoothie bottles and a pillow on the side. Her right arm of the jumper wears a bloodied bandage.

It wasn't before long we ran into trouble, a Vidar by the callsign of RHC-"Hanse" - what was the most interesting is that it came from the direction of Cambridge. We followed it out, questioning it. It appears that they mentioned they were interested in going to Omega-11 - of course.
Another unusual ship of interest was spotted in Omega-3, a Rheinland Battlecruiser. Callsign was FischerFritz, they claimed to be "securing their border" - saying nothing else.

What was most interesting is that the said vessel opened fire on the Independant Miners Guild station, and then us after we tried to stop him for questioning. Unfortunately, we had to decommission it, but at least I thought you would like to know of this ship's presence.
Finally, later on in the day, a Hessian Battleship was detected heading towards Cambridge, our ships intercepted it and pinned it - allowing the BAF|HMS-Avalon to deal with it - providing the Carrier with support fire, taking it down.

I do not regret my decision at all! Your party has been very helpful to us. However, I must remind you that you do not have the authority to force anyone to do something, for example stop for a scan, unless they have been proven in violation of the Bretonian Charter of Interstellar Law, or enemies of the Kingdom. It would be inconvenient for us if merchants and other visitors from abroad returned home with the news about Bretonia hiring mercenaries, no matter how good, to uphold their laws.
Regarding this, you have acted correctly with the White Neraxon, as you did not force the ship to stay, but let them go when they pleased.
By the way, I hope that you are alright? Your arm looks worrying and that ceiling should have been set higher by my opinion.
Of course we do not have the authority nor the intention to be stopping anyone as - well - there's no point in stopping anyone. If I was them, I'd be pretty annoyed, so I can sympathise with travelers.
As I mentioned, the war vessel in question was harming the Independant Guild's station - we have a good standing with the Miners, and as friends, we would look out for them. I only wished to know why it opened fire on a civilian asset - that is all.
Heh, I take moderate offence to the term 'mercenary' - that would imply I do what I do for profit alone. There's deeper reason for what we do, and we would never be a sellsword to the highest bidder.
