Dear all,

I am shocked by the dramatic events that occurred in Freeport 11.
The behavior of the Core seems totally stupid and pointless.
Unfortunately it reminds me when the Corsairs decided to make the zoners their enemy a few years ago.

The Seraphim are not really in the position to offer a strong military support, however several of our ships have successfully delivered essential goods to improve the critical situation on the station. Soon, if required, we should also be able to evacuate wounded people. We will keep on bring our convoys as long as it is needed.

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank very much all our allies and supporters for being there while we critically need them. We won't forget you!

Good day,

Firstly, I would like to give my sincerest condolences to your confederation and the families of those who perished in the attack on Freeport 11. The Core, though as of late have become increasingly hostile, have never shown this kinda of radical action before. This brings a new card to an otherwise terrifying game.

Now, on to the business at hand. My name is Randall Santiago, Fleet Commander of the Maltese 72nd Fleet. As of late we have simply tolerated the Core. Appeasement was our tactic, but it appears to have only caused more issues. The power-hungry Core war machine recently has taken odds against us, and has in turn caused relations to become more sour.

However, with this attack on your Freeport, and their inconsideration for the lives of those they have sworn to protect, they have proven themselves unfit to exist. As a sign of good faith, I have ordered my comrades aboard the destroyer Santa Maria to report to Omicron Delta to aid your forces in the defense of the Freeport. They have strict orders to remain vigilant, as well as continue their duty to protect the lives of those who cannot defend themselves. I have also ordered my Freight Corps to begin supplying the station with D.R.O.P.s from your bases at Freeport 6 and Planet Gran Canaria so as to repair the damage the Core have inflicted upon the station.

In addition, I've also instructed my Second-in-Command aboard the Santa Maria to provide as much assistance to your confederation's forces in deflecting any further attempt by the Core against the station and its inhabitants. He is to also help oversee the reconstruction of the station's damaged assets, however, that is entirely up to the men on the job.

The Fleet has always kept the Zoners wishes in mind, and in these dark times, we see it fit to defend those wishes. We cannot stand idly by while the 'lawmen' of the Core wage war like savages.

Finally, I get a chance to respond here.
The Sidon and her small crew have been working tirelessly to assist at the Freeport and all those bringing supplies to it. When there's no imminent threat to our home and we have no word of incoming convoys who require escorts, we moor with the station and do our best to help with internal reconstruction and organization efforts. Having yesterday been at the head of what was truly the largest convoy I have ever seen or heard of in my entire life, I can confidently say that we're up to the task, but there's no room for complacency; we still have much more which needs doing.

As I mentioned in another transmission, in addition to standard DROP package fare, we also need medicine, particularly painkillers, blood thinners, thickeners, and amphetamines. Any DROPs which incorporate these are well-appreciated. Furthermore, any and all military assistance is appreciated, but keep in mind that if your ideological convictions might cause you to infight with other defenders, we might be better off without you.

Thank you all for your ceaseless efforts so far. We'll win this.

On my behalf, and that of OSI, and, I would like to think, on behalf of Zoners all around Sirius, I want to thank all those that were solidary with our brothers on Freeport 11, specially those that risked their lives to get relief supplies to the station. Your efforts are much appreciated and will not be forgotten.

Still, the effort to live in the Deep Omicrons is a never ending one. The relief deliveries will still continue for a while, and we will probably need even more help to defend the station in the future. With all the help we got this last couple days, this task looks less and less impossible.
