"Oh god..." She says to herself and starts sipping from her hand. The water tasted sweet and refreshing and probably the best thing she had tasted in a long time as well. She moved her other hands slowly and tried to rest her arms so that she could then drink directly from the small stream. She put her face in and sipped.
"... mmhmm...ahh... <sipping>... ooohw...<coughing>...<sipping some more>..."
After a few moments some more strength started to come back to her and she didn't feel so light-headed any more. "Oh god... how I... m..missed this... <cough cough> ... the masters had... they... <cough... sigh> ... gave us less to drink... and just a hose for 10 seconds.... for us to bathe... after you all left.... I... <sipping> we had to drink... <sigh> out of our own... bath water.... on the floor... Mmmgh! T..this is good..."
Her red hair was mostly wet and hanging down as she drank more. She tried to lift herself up a little but then groaned in pain and moved back down. "Oow... Mm...my back..."
Her face rapidly shifted from a smile to a grimace and quickly after into a sad expression after she heard what the guards started to do to the slaves after she had ran from the plantation with the others. "I..i-i had no idea how horrible they would treat you after we ran. Those damn sniffers." At the pained noises her face shot up again, her face turning into a worried expression. "Where are you injured? Lets get those cuts and wounds cleaned out."

"L..Look...Just... look... my back... m..my leg I think...." She groans and sighs as she lays in the water and it cleans her a little more at least from the front. "I..merm... they ... they whipped those who... tried to escape and got caught.... and the rest too... they said... because we didnt tell them... you were going to do it...Ahh..." She moans in pain. "Th... they put me in.... a... a pillory and...and.." She doesn't finish but rather starts to sob and then cry a little. "It hurts... ooww... everything..."
"Hush, come on. Its alright. You're out now. Its going to be over as soon as we get off this rock." She gently placed her gloved hand in her shoulder. "Those sniffers ain't gonna get you again. I'll make sure of that." She shifted behind her. "Now.. This might sting a bit, and for sure im not a professional at doing this, but it might at least prevent them from getting infected... Might. We need to get you to a doctor soon. One that doenst bring the threat of enslavement." She tore off a part of her right sleeve, using the knife to loosen it at first. She then soaked it in water and little and started cleaning inside the cuts and on the bruises. She could only imagine how much'd would hurt Michelle.

"OOOOOOWwwww!!" She yelped and her back arched up as she flinches in pain. The yell echoed through the cave and a flock of startled birds burst out of the trees. Her head shot up and she turned around though her red hair covered her eyes. "Sssss....please...n-not so hard... ow...o-...ow.....ahh...Mmermm...." She complains as the girl keeps cleaning her wounds and running over her sun-burnt skin. She puts her head back down and lightly bites her wrist to muffle her sounds.
She struggles to keep still but manages. After she doesn't feel any more pain, her head lifts again and she looks a little back. "I..is it better?" She asks and starts to sit up slowly and carefully. She turns around to see the one who rescued her and curls up on a ball white sitting in the stream. Her torn dress, she notices finally, is quite revealing and she blushes a light red as she looks at the girl in front of her. Her legs pull up in an attempt to cover herself and her green eyes meet hers.
"Th..thanks..." She mumbles though is clearly embarrassed.
She smiled as she saw the fruits of her labor pay off. While it was still red the bleeding had mostly stopped, and the dirt was out. "There we go. All good now." She sees the girl curling into a ball and chuckles. "Don't be embarrased. I saw worse! One of the previous group i was part of had to do only with a small wrapping around her waist. And not a problem. Happy to help." She stood up and walked towards a small tree, and dug near it. A few moments later she returned with another maltese uniform. "Here. Try that on for size. I wont peek."

She starts sniffling again and some tears show up once more as she sees the girl bring her cloths. She wipes her tears with her arm and looks down at what is left of what she is wearing before looking up again and sees the cloths in front of her out of the stream . "O..okay... do-..don't look..." She nods and when the girl turns around she slowly crawls from the stream and gets up with a little stumble. She strips and puts the uniform on carefully though has a bit of trouble with the trousers as she threads first the shackles through the legs. Once she is done, she picks her old, white but heavily stained and ripped dress off the cave floor and holds it in her hands. Weeping again, she turns to the stream and kneels down when she notices how dirty it was and how damaged the dress had become. Finding a larger and smooth rock, she tries to clean the dress some more in the river with trembling hands. "M..my dress..." She weeps to herself, though the girl could likely hear it.
Linda heard the soft weeping as Michelle was cleaning her dress. She walked over to her, halfway there tripping over a small rock and landing flat on the floor. "Damnit.". She crawled up quickly and darted towards Michelle. "H-hey. Whats wrong?". Her nose bled a little from the impact as her face had landed full onto the solid rock surface. "I-its just a rag. Why are you trying to c-clean it?". Her voice sounded a bit stopped up because some of the blood had shot back through her nose into her throat, aswell as the fact that she had bitten her tongue upon landing.

Michelle didn't even noticed the girl fell but already was mixed with grief and emotion. When the girl mentioned that the dress is just a rag, Michelle's emotions burst. "ITS NOT A RAG!!!" She yelled and her voice echoed through the cave. She dropped the dress and went on all fours as she started crying and tears ran mercilessly down her cheeks and onto the rocky floor. She cupped her hands to her face and weeped.
"It's... it's... it's... not a rag! It's... my we-.. wedding dress!... or... or... all that's left of it... everything is gone,.... everything!.. Even my dress! All ... gone!.... They.... they attacked and.... and made me a slave... but I never changed my... my dress.. An.... an now... look at it!" She cried out. "They... they already had..... torn off most of it... with.... with only the minimal parts.... but.... now..."
Her small fits hit the white cloth on the rock as she waled. "<Sniff> <sobbing> ... I... I never even married....I... crerkk... gahh..." Her head sank down and she buried herself into the ripped white fabric in full grief.
Linda's voice failed her completely as the story came out of Michelle. Her face grew paler then it already was, and her mind shut down. "I..-i..." She just couldnt get the words out of her mouth, and instead just placed her arm around the shaking and quivering upper body of Michelle and rested her head against Michelle's shoulder. Her voice crackled a little as she tried to keep forming the words she was trying to speak. "I..-- I had no.. No idea that ..." She gurgled and spat out a flume of blood that was stuck in her throat. "Eugh.". She kept on hugging Michelle, not sure if her actions would impact her positively. She thought to herself: "Oh dear.. What do i do, WHAT DO I DO??"
