About the Osiris BS thing, we need to have good and bad BSs they arent different enough. Osiris BS i think should cost like 100mil while i think bretonia ships (who are worst cap ships right?) should be what they are now and make the osiris best becuase it is the best BS on 1st player, is a prototype, and easily beats all the other BSs on 1 player...
And on batleships who has heard of a battleship that can fire more guns foward then to starboard, portside? The bsttleships should have better attack power when shooting from the side than any other direction, dont know if you can do this though...
And i think someone had but the cruiser forward gun on a different turret spot for their cruiser as they could turn it which was never supposed to happen. Ohh a if someone puts a cruiser forward gun and Ioncross detects it as a cheat they wont ever be able to take it off and play again though i think it was said that ioncross couldnt do that so this was just for the sake of argueing...
something cool would be to make some battleship guns but make them able to buy off certain planets only and should cost like 50mil each but be the best turrets you can have.
I would also like to see a new mod version too, as i have already mentioned some things that need to be added and fixed...

I have found the Flack turrets to be practicly useless, but I havn't found anything to replace them with. The missile turrets, in my opinion, should be for fighters. The Capital ships already have the missile dead-zone, so decreasing the power of the missiles would make fighting the little gnats... sorry, fighters, even more of a problem then it already is.
The biggest problem I have is that the NPC fighters and other ships can toss my Kusari Battleship around like it's nothing. It is very annoying to be fighting a small squad of fighters, and have one of them decide to ram me, and end up facing 180 the other way, upside down, and pointing straight up like some kind of beached whale. If there is absolutly nothing that can be done about this, oh well. If there is, please do so. Perhapse adding a kill-zone on the large ships. If a fighter makes contact with a battleship, head on, I don't care what sheilds you have, your fighter is going to pancake on my hull. Fighters should bounce away from Gunships and other fighters, take damage on Cruisers/Destroyers, and blow up as they flatten against the hull of a Battleship. The kill-zone should be on the ships hull, so that peeling the paint won't kill you, but hitting the ship will. Just a thought.
Other than that, things look fine to me. And F1 should be kept. You can tell when someone is abusing it, and when someone has to. I know, because i've used it a few times to get unstuck with a base or two. It's when they use it to avoid a fight that they should be punished. You know the difference, and just saying 'NO F1!' won't help anyone. The abusers are going to complain, and probobly get kicked off anyways, and the people who get stuck will have to start complaining because they have to exit out compleatly to get unstuck.

About "spinning battleships" - I know that, tried to fix it many times, but even if I make the ship's weight a million (!) times more than NPC battleships, it won't help. There is some effect on handling, but other ships can still hit yours.
"Dead zone" is impossible to make without making all collisions painful. This means that colliding with a base or an asteroid would almost certainly result in death. And travelling in an asteroid field in a battleship... you'll never survive this anymore.

This requires complicated hardpoint editing, I'm not sure if I'm ready to do this.
I'd also like to remind about the max equipment price, which is 10 million. Someone talked about 50 million here...
I know how to make turrets totally unmountable, but I doubt if it should be done.

O.K. This is my opinion, so nobody is forced to listen to me.
I think that it would be great to organize a war between the houses.Of cource that means that there should be some changes in the next version of the mod. I don't know if the ideas that i'm gonna write here can be made possible , but it would be good anyway to use some of them.
For a war between the houses to commence i suggest that for the light and heavy fighters of each house should be made a new versions - MK2.The same ships , but more balanced. What i mean is to make these ships stronger and equall compared to the other houses. Like now lib. ships are the weakes and rheiland are the strongest. I suggest to make a MK2 versions of these ships with power and compitability for mounting 9lv./10lv. guns. This goes for the armor too. All houses should have these 9lv./10lv. ships.
For instance:
Patriot MK2 Light Fighter Armor: 8600 gun lv.9
Defender MK2 Heavy Fighter Armor: 12000 gun lv.10
And all the other fractions goin' like that...
These ships should be for sale on bases where before hasn't been any ship for sale like the shipyards.This is to be , so the new players still can buy and fly the original ships until the got enough creds. for the MK2 versions.
And on these bases , selling the MK2 versions , should be some new house weapons and shields and stuff. I mean for instance new lv.10 liberty guns/turrets/shield , kusari lv 10 guns/turrets/shields and so on..
And if there is possible there should be new house cap ship weapons, too.
So my idea is boosting the normal house ships so there can be an equall fight between them , thus giving us more reasons to fight for a new sides.
This also could be developed into a "guard sisrius from the nomads" conflict too.
Of cource this only a suggestion of mine and if the others really like it and it can be done ,I think that it'll make the game even more fun.

I think its a good idea becuase updating fighters cant be as hard as making player controled cap ships can it? A war between the houses would be better than [C] vs. [A] as there would be more teams, alliances, and the MkII fighters should only be with Heavy Fighters as it would make to good of a light fighter. The fighters should have differences for their houses though. Like Lib ships should have better amor and less weaps/energy, Kusari has better weaps but worse armor/energy, Rheinland should have better energy and more but not necesarily better weaps. Like having instead of 6-7 guns have 8-9 but still the same amount of level 9-10 as the others than just have a few extra guns. Bretonian ships in keeping with the rest of thier cap ships sould be more balanced and worse than all the other houses while being the cheapest. There should be level 10 guns made by the different houses too but the cost alot or something, like 500,000 per level 10 gun. The special fighters should be put in that nations special base like Alaska for Lib, Tekagis Arch for Kusari, Somewhere in Bretonia, as there are no special basees there, and the secret shipyard in Frankfurt that you and Von Classen or whatever his name is, blow up all the prototype nomad BSs. There should also be VERY high priced shields for only those ships with level 10 shield mounts.
I for one will be using Kusari ships and fighting for Kusari as i like there ships, that is if we do this...
Dab's got a good ideas, but i still think that the light fighters should be upgrated too,still be weker though. And the ships should be more accesible so that everyone can buy them,and join their favourite house. I think that the shipyards in the systems r great place these ships to be. And they should be on reasonable prises compared to their capibilities. The guns should be expensive, but still avalable for the players so they can use not only their favourite house ship but also their fauvorite house weapons. A price around of 2mil for the heavy fighters and 1.3-1.5 mil for the light fighters.
And main difference between the upgrated versions of the heavy and light fighters is the max gun level they can mount-9lv. for the light and 10lv. for the heavy.
Still these new things must be avalable for everyone u know... reasonable prices is the key...
P.S. Some people like light fighters more than heavy, and i think they will agree that these machines should take their rightful place amongst the Houses fleets.

Well the prices should be different though. Eagles are 3mil i think so house ships should cost like 5mil becuase they are supposed to be better. If they arent better than there is no use in getting them. I guess the light fighter top level of 9 would be okay it'd be the best light fighter too anyways...
I would also ask if Igiss knows how to make ships drop things that are player controlled instead of just NPC ships dropping, then piracy could be worth it.
Well eitherway the ships should cost as their value is. And the ships versions should be like a reply to the border worlds fighters. So they should be around their stats(not the light fighters they should bee a little waeker but more manuvarable and fast). My point of this whole thought is that the new house ships should be equall to the ships in the border systems, so everybody can fly with their favourite ship everywhere.
All is in Igiss hands, im just giving the idea.:)

We cannot bring 2 forces together in a battle. Let alone 4 forces, and 4 factions. And - let me ask how you are going to make ships better than Eagle, Titan and Sabre? And why - why?? - can we possibly need so many top-level ships, with Titan, Sabre, Eagle already available, Nomad fighter (it's a special one, but still quite tough) included into Discovery, and Centurion, Hammerhead, Dragon and Executioner closely behind with level 9 weapons and better maneuvrability. You want 8 more ships (heavy & light fighters) available in this category?
I may make several ships, possibly Dragon, to handle level 10 weapons. But making 2nd versions of house ships is dull and illogical, because pirate ships are meant to be the most powerful of all in Sirius (apart from capital ships).
A few words about capital ships. Balance of those concerns me most. I will probably reduce ship hulls for ships that have lots of turrets, and increase hull toughness for Osiris and Liberty Dreadnought. Plus energy - those ships will have most powerful energy sources, and their turrets will require most energy to fire. So it will be possible to mount a few Osiris turrets on another ships, but not all of them. As for cruiser forward turrets, I'll reduce their power and increase turret power instead, and missiles... all missiles will deal some 25-30% less damage.
