If quoting others makes you happy, by all means do it, but keep in mind that there is a quote for every conceivable situation for every conceivable stance. It is my belief that quoting others is a way to prevent having to think of something to say yourself. Try writing poetry and get your own personal world view down on paper, it might bring more joy than re-reading the thoughts of some dead revolutionary.
