So I started to download that swagpack and it also downloaded something called "PC Speed UP" and "SpaceSoundPro 1.0", is this supposed to be included? Whatever I downloaded also gave me a search bar in firefox. I got two pop-ups of I don't know what so at that point I turned off my wifi, closed all these windows, will uninstall whatever I just downloaded and run a scan through my computer unless someone can assure me this was intended.

Is springfiles what I'm supposed to use to download the files? There's some music and other weird stuff in there...

Eh...where did you download the pack from?
That should not be part of the install.

PSA: If you have been having stutter/FPS lag on Disco where it does not run as smoothly as other games, please look at the fix here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2306502

Crisis averted... sort of.

Whatever was in that link downloaded some seven different programs/folders/files/ I don't know what. I couldn't get back online after a bit and chrome kept on redirecting to totux(dot)com

MSE wouldn't update so I restarted in safe mode with networking didn't work at all, so I resorted to a system restore to some 5 hours or so ago. The mystery programs seem to have gone (in addition to the ones I mentioned there was something called ghostify, FADE, and ASPackage.

I normally use firefox which seems to be working okay now though when I opened chrome it wanted to redirect to that totux side again so I uninstalled chrome. Maybe I'll re-download/install later on to see if things changed.

I clicked on the link langolier posted I believe, and I'm hesitant to do it again though I really want my game to look better. Tongue

In short, not doing that again anytime soon, it wasn't fun, and I'm very tired. Hope whoever originally uploaded that file can somehow check its integrity.

edit: I also took some pictures with my phone of all suspicious programs/folders/pop-ups in case someone wants to take a look at them. I'd be happy to share to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

I checked both links @Langolier posted. They both are fine.
I would guess you got redirected or mistook an ad for the download button? I don't want to point fingers, but I'm afraid the issue is on your side. Do you have any ad-blocking browser addon? Like uBlock or AdBlock?

Also you can post the pics here so we can look at them. Just in case.

Sorry about that mess. I got that link here:
http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread...=Swag+pack

I didn't have any of those issues when I downloaded it, but that was awhile back. I tried to find the link for just the HD Starsphere pack, but it seems to be gone now. I still have the zip file on my pc. I will see if I can upload it somewhere, and then post the link.

Yep, that's it. My upload is now invalid. O_O
By the way Swiss, was there any trouble with the Dark Blue HUD link?
Hope you can sort it out. I cannot play without these two replacers, they make a significant difference.

I think I may have clicked on the wrong download button (the left one opposed to the right one?)

No one's fault but my own.

No trouble with the HUD link, I got that one working. Will try the swagpack later today, thanks. Smile

Edit: Question, is this starsphere thing in addition to the swagpack or an alternative people use to the swagpack?
