The grin dissolved and Death took its place at the throne of Silver's mind. Little by little, Death gripped what was once hers. The body, the feelings, the urge and the calling.
"Just say who, what, when and how, baby doll." Her voice was playful, but serious. Like the facade of a gentle smile of a murderer. Her hand was still grasping the handle of the door. The set of grey eyes trailed the form of Ruby Hydra's body, and her right hand trailed to her gun for an unconscious desire.
"And one more bell to toll. One more body to the cold." She whispered, almost like a song. A gentle lullaby of gore and madness. The lullaby of the Dead. The song of Santa Muerte.
"I'll await for yer word, then." Silver pulled the door and the silence filled the spacious office, with only the heavy clink of the door closing cutting it off. Like the calm before a storm, a lightning bolt in dark.
