"personally, such testimony is sufficient - whats being left now is the question about the cruisers origin. - is it a vessel under elder council colours? or one of those freelance corsairs that roam the space, spreading terror and fear?

if the HAF| is an official "Corsaid Council" vessel (// recognized faction ) - i will send a report to the corsairs and a demand for reparations. - if it is a freelancing Corsair though - a bounty will be placed on the head of this ship - unless the Corsair Council provides sufficient evident that such an event has not happened or was necessary in a life threatening situation, which appears not to be the case - as the vessel involved could not possibly have damaged the cruiser

Well, I have to ask, what's your alignment mister Mudd. And if you saw what (you said) you saw, why don't you have proofs? Certainly, I had taken photos, evidence, something. You saw a crime and you did nothing? Sorry, but that sounds weird to me.

Again, please mister Mudd, what's your alignment?

Re: Inflammatory remarks from a follicly impaired tailess simian

My alignment, Mr. I don't have a clue, is lawful. My mission at the time of the incident was to collect samples of Nomad technology and Nomad bio-materials for study at Cambridge. In previous conversations with assorted members of the Order and other individuals operating in Delta, I had told them of this, such that our common enemy is the aliens, and that I was willing to leave them alone if they would leave me alone.

As far as proof of the moronic comments by HAF|Sir.Dark, as I stated previously, I have to finish recovering the information from the records of my ships computer after the damage I took later.

(//Which means I'm at work, and won't be home for a few more hours, where I have the screenshots in my folder and not uploaded to photobucket yet.)

Re: Photographic evidence

I personally suspect given your own recent encounter in Delta that Corsairs are actually using Cardimime, Syth Weed, or perhaps are even infected with Nomad brain cells. (Well, personally, I think you MUST have Nomad brain cells, because you obviously have none of your own, but that's just my personal opinion, of course.)

Here's the proof I said I had of SirDork acting like he's infected or having comm failure, one of the two.

Pretty impressive, isn't it? Darn, it's a shame when we can actually back up our statements. Just as it's also impressive when you manage to indict yourself with your OWN statements. The No-Fire zone around Freeports has always been a no engagement zone - not a place to run for safety once you ARE engaged.

Quote:Regarding combat around Freeports / Other bases:

Simple rule of thumb that should apply, and is quite simple to follow:

You do not INITIATE combat within the no-fire zone around one of these bases. Thus, if you are a bounty hunter / corsair / whoever - and you're cruising by and you see someone undock from the bae - leave them alone.

You are free to CONTINUE combat within the no-fire zone if that combat began OUTSIDE the no-fire zone. Thus, you as a bounty hunter / Corsair / whoever start a combat with someone and you're 15K out from a base - and your target then flees towards the base - well, it's his choice to try to flee, and your choice to pursue. Feel free to engage him all the way up.

Would you like some cheese with your whines?

And I personally plan on enjoying watching you float in space in your escape pod whenever and wherever I find you.

Thanks for the info, now we know Sir Dark was 528 meters from.... who know where... you picture is a little confusing.

And thanks for the info about the no-fire zone, it's true, I didn't know all of it, I just thought firing within it wasn't allowed.

Now, due to your amazing discovery, give me a proof that Sir Dark engaged her within the no-fire zone.
Your picture only show, that he came close to the freeport (or close to something I don't see the Freeport in your radar or your frontal view), but it doesn't show if he engaged her within the zone, also there's no notice about any fight.

All I can think from this, is that you tried to make a fake evidence. Until you show me that he enganged her within the No-Fire zone, this is nothing more than a good picture of Sir's cruiser.

And I dare you to try to see my escape pod.

First off its ma'am, or Linda, whichever suits you. *Winks*
Second of all, Director, the Freeport in question is Freeport 11 out in Omicron Delta.

Well ma'am... winking at a female doesn't do wonders for peoples opinions of you.

Beats me how people can actually be wondering how or why these half-wit cannibals are so stupid. They clearly have piled on the pounds from eating their ridiculous, cretinous extended families and enjoy throwing their weight around so much that they've decided to take over the space around the Freeports. Maybe they are interested in developing hors d'ouevres from the Nomads that occasionally pop up in the Edgeworlds.

Now I know the Zoners can't be expected to police their space all the time; heaven knows they're far too busy...um....well...doing...well whatever it is they do.

Anyone of them has the gall to interfere with the neutral space near the Freeports doesn't deserve a "complaint" form or whatever it is you're attempting to do here. What are the Zoners gonna do? Have a trial? This is the great beyond, folks, and the only court that will teach idiots like this HAF buffoon is a taste of hot plasma from a large number of guns. Of course, the Corsairs will probably gripe about everyone using the Freeports - whether it be to re-equip or use the damn toilet facilities after dealing with these numbskulls.

We can hardly expect them to police themselves when they allow clearly demented morons to pilot large and dangerous ships like the scans above demonstrate.

Future nitwits will find rough justice. And that should include those of you who share our own interests. Show some restraint.

Of course, from what I hear, these HAF boys are no longer under the protection of the Council of the Obese or whatever it is the Corsair leadership calls itself these days. I say power up and let 'em have it.

To Zoner council and interested parties.

From Elder Gentle. Pirate King of the OPG.

Just so you half wit wannabe space pilots know in the 'Search and be Destroyed' mob and so that our honoured zoner friends are up to speed. OPG forces with support from the corsair council have already declared civil war against these so called 'corsairs'

I can give you all every assurance that their forces will be annihilated. Indeed I invite you all to join in the massacre. And id like all non factionalised corsairs to realise that the council of corsair elders dictates its will and enforces it with action. Let this be a lesson to all corsairs that dissent and attacking our amigos and their facilities or breaking their laws as well as our own, will be and is treated with utmost disregard for their life.

Do not cross the council of Elders. Our reach is long and our power is eternal.

Well, this comms channel is going downhill with various toughs beating their hairy chests.

Still, I have a note for you all: No one who violates the no-fire zone should expect to get away with it. It does not matter if you are a Corsair, Outcast, Hunter or Merc. Not even if you are a Zoner.
The rules are there to protect the Freeport, not because of some Zoner conspiracy to support one faction over another.

Ugh, you talked about me in the same sentence as that revolting anthropophage.

If I beat my chest, I'd probably have a heart attack or worse.

But yes, I suppose all you folks are worried about is the Freeports getting shot to pieces. Inasmuch as I know that most of our <strike>operatives</strike> research ships have good aim, and ignoring the fact that the odd missile never hurt anyone in my experience (well, not anyone who didn't deserve it) we'll continue to respect the no-fire zone, but not to the point of letting anyone open up on us first. These <strike>capital class ships</strike> consignments of food cost money, you know.

I'm sure other <strike>Guild members</strike> business-people will demonstrate the same tact.
