Name: Sarah Masterson

Age: 25

Birthday and Birthplace: 800 A.S - Planet Erie, Pennsylvania

Biography: Sarah was born into a fairly poor family on Planet Erie, named after a niece of her father. Her parents were often working several part time jobs just to make ends meet, and lived near a number of social outcasts and troublemakers. Sarah took up a few jobs herself selling scrap and junk to help her family pay the bills from time to time, and fixed up ships as well for a quick buck.

When Sarah was 19, she came home to a violent scene of a break in and two people murdered while preparing food. Her parents were dead, and she broke down crying. A neighbour had heard her crying and came in to find the mess there and contacted the police. The murderers of her parents were quickly found and apprehended, although Sarah herself was never told who killed her parents or why. She inherited everything her parents had, which included an old transport wreck that they could never really fully get going, and so she decided to at least make it space worthy and tried to fix the internals as best she could, which took about a year.

It didn't take long for Sarah to make enough money to replace her old broken rust bucket with a Salvager, and not long afterwards, a second Salvager to better help confuse people looking for her. She installed a number of anti-fighter weaponary on her Salvagers to better defend herself in the darkness of space. Most of the time, Sarah can be found in her captain's seat and her ship can sometimes be found shooting Xenos.

How fast can you repair a broken Salvager?: Never bothered to check the time, but pretty quickly.

How good are you at selling Premium Scrap to a stranger?: There's one born every minute, I'll tell you when I sell premium scrap.

What would you do if you get caught smuggling by a member of law enforcement? What about if you're stopped by a bandit while smuggling?: Don't know, never been successfully stopped by either.

What knowledge do you possess of the Puerto Rico system, if any?: How well do I know my home system? Pretty well, I'd say.

What ships do you already own?: A Salvager named Cypher and a Salvager named Mara.

Ms.Masterson, we are sorry to hear that your parents died in such a brutal way and that you had to see it. However, we in the Congress believe tragedy makes us stronger. You have more then show the values of what it takes to be a true Junker.

Move yourself to Puerto Rico and visit Arbiter Rick Tiltman at the Ruff Tuff bar on the Vieques Shipyard to get introduced in your new family.

Name: Aisling-Rose Dunne

Age: 24

Birthday and Birthplace: 29th of November, 800 AS, Gran Canaria, Omega-49

Biography: <<<Link to character biography here.>>>

How fast can you repair a broken Salvager?:

"We didn't get a lot of those coming in to dock at Kilrea or Arranmore, so my 'experience' with 'em's limited (I'm still learnin' how to keep the one I have now together). Just how bad we talkin' about here? If it's just a lick from tachyon or plasma fire, I can patch the darlin' up in hours. But if ya'll gone done something to the core, well that'll take a bit longer - day or two I reckon; three if your coolant leak's gotten fluids all over the place and gotta clean it out."

How good are you at selling Premium Scrap to a stranger?:

"Honey, I can sell anything. I'm a Molly Dublin Miner. I could sell an IMG ship to its own pilots on the Hood at a very agreeable discounted rate." <<<winks>>>

What would you do if you get caught smuggling by a member of law enforcement? What about if you're stopped by a bandit while smuggling?:

"To be honest, I'm not sure. I'd probably try and run, or if I reckon I can't, bribe the officer. If it's some fool on my six, I buy time while others come to help, or I engage. My scrap ain't goin' nowhere, and if anyone's gonna' have a payday it's us, right?"

What knowledge do you possess of the Puerto Rico systen, if any?:

"Well darn, I ain't never been further out than Bretonnian space. I'm sure we can figure sum'thin' out, right? I'm sure there are enough folk lyin' around who'll know the way - Zoners, more o' your Junker folk, other Mollys, yeah."

What ships do you already own?:
  • 1x Salvager Frigate

Name: Katsu Higashi - Kat for short

Age: 24

Birthday and Birthplace: Date: June 22 801as - Place: Women's bathroom of the Yanagi Depot Bar.

Biography: Theres not much to tell about me, I was born and raised on Yanagi Depot. I dont have any siblings and my mother ran off with an Outcast when i was young, so it was just me and my father. Spent most of my teens trying to save up my money to help repair my family's ship which had been damaged and abandoned in the nebula nearby during the Nomad War. It took us a long time but we finally managed to get her space-worthy again, but by then my father had decided he was too old to get back into the business, gave me the ship and retired to Planet Kyushu where he grew up. Since then i've been able to make a tidy profit trading through the Omegas and Sigmas.

How fast can you repair a broken Salvager?: Depends on whats damaged and how badly, i can do a patch-job pretty quick but more extensive repairs can take a while.

How good are you at selling Premium Scrap to a stranger?: Eh, not a very smooth talker but i can make a decent deal.

What would you do if you get caught smuggling by a member of law enforcement? What about if you're stopped by a bandit while smuggling?: Never had a problem with pirates, most of them know that they'll need people like us eventually. As far as cops are concerned i usually try to play the "Oh, im so sorry. i had no clue that was in there!" card if i ever get caught.

What knowledge do you possess of the Puerto Rico systen, if any?: I've been through there a few times, i have a cousin that works on Culebra Smelter.

What ships do you already own?: Just a TTR-1130 Pilgrim Liner thats been in my family for generations.

Kat Higashi, Your mother running off with an Outcast and being raised by your father certainly impacted your childhood for sure, the fact that you were willing to aid your father shows you have courage and the will to stick it out in tough situations. We at the congress agree you show nothing less then the true colors of Congress member and we welcome you into our family.

Name: Eva Thorn & Kera Thorn

Age: 19 & 21

Birthday and Birthplace: June 3rd, 806 A.S. & July 3rd 804 A.S., Salvage Ship Tenacity

Biography: Eva and Kera are the daughters of Christopher Thorn, the infamous junker who owned the Salvager Tenacity. Christopher Thorn ran the Junker's Union, based out of Bornholme Depot on the southern edge of Rheinland space, and set many standards for the proper salvage and refining of scrap metal from the debris fields surrounding the station, as well as maintaining a tenuous alliance between the local Corsairs, Bounty Hunters, Hessians, and Rheinland Military.
Christopher Thorn died six years ago, in 819 A.S., of complications stemming from industrial chemical and radiation exposure over the course of his career. He left his legacy to his two daughters, Eva and Kera, both of whom were born onboard the Tenacity. Eva and Kera are half sisters; Eva's mother was from Kusari, and Kera's mother was from Liberty. Together, they co-command the Tenacity and continue its operations in remembrance of their father and the impact he had on Sirius.
Born junkers, Eva and Kera are both expert mechanics. Eva's skillset lies primarily in technological operations, and she has a head for computer systems, robotics, and other high-tech gadgets. Kera's skills are more traditional, with a focus on industrial engineering, reactor systems, thrusters, and heavy equipment. While Eva is the younger of the two by roughly 3 years, she tends to take command when dealing with others, as she has better interpersonal skills and is more of an extrovert; Kera prefers to keep her head down, keep to herself, and keep her engines running.

How fast can you repair a broken Salvager?: Is this a trick question? Salvagers are hand built by junker families from the ground up, no two are alike, and some are vastly different in layout, components, and systems. You also dont specify what's broken; it takes less time to fix an engine than to fix the entire salvage conveyor assembly.

How good are you at selling Premium Scrap to a stranger?: Eva does the selling, Kera doesnt have the gift of gab.

What would you do if you get caught smuggling by a member of law enforcement? What about if you're stopped by a bandit while smuggling?: It wouldnt matter, really, all of the smuggling compartments are hidden inside the conveyor system. Unless those cops and robbers are bringing a full set of socket and torque wrenches with them, they arent getting a whiff of illicit goods.

What knowledge do you possess of the Puerto Rico system, if any?: We've passed through, but honestly our ship is always on the move, we dont spend too much time in any one place.

What ships do you already own?: The Salvage Frigate, "Tenacity".

Are you allowed to pirate in Liberty as a Junker?: Only if you're pirating a dirty xeno or hogosha ship, and by pirate we mean blasting to tiny pieces and salvaging the cargo.

Have you had any interaction with a Congress member thus far? If yes, what was his/her shop or character name: I used to interact with the congress quite a bit back in the day, and I've seen them on a lot lately, but I havent had any recent interactions.

Eva Thorn & Kera Thorn, as children of a well known Junker based in the Omegas we at the Congress will be more then happy to accept you into our ranks. He died doing what he loved, and the death of a true Junker. It's all we can really hope for honestly, to die doing what we loved. I am sure you will continue to bring honor to The Tenacity and your father's legacy.

Name: Rell Harrow

Age: 27, close to 28

Birthday and Birthplace: 22nd of May, 798; Somewhere in space on a Junker vessel, probably

Biography: Alright, guess I gotta fill this out. I was born to a family of junkers. When I was in my late teens, I didn't really think that collecting leftovers and scraps was something "worthy" of my time. I was a bit of a biggot back then. So I ran away and became a freelancer at the age of 16. After a series of unpleasent accidents and events, I seem to now be the oldest surviving member of my family, except for my aunt Marie, who is an old woman and not quite... well. Some of the crew joke that she could use a few Collectors to sort her memories but I usually shut those jokes down pretty quick. The situation is not pleasent, neither for her nor for me, but I take good care of her. And then there's a few kids who were adopted by different families. I don't have any siblings.

Long story short, I was called back and took over the family's Salvager. I managed to find a new crew. Most are just there because they have nowhere else to go but they are a semi-capable bunch and I trust in their abilities as well as their secrecy.

Now personally, I haven't ever done anything other than scrap collecting since I took over the ship. Only recently did I learn that there's more to the Junkers than that. That may sound weird but my folks and me, we didn't talk much and they kept me out of most of the business. I left before they could teach me more. Aunt Marie may have talked about some things, but I thought it was just her... age... talking.

How fast can you repair a broken Salvager?: What tools do I have? And how much time to I get for digging through a scrap field to gather replacement parts? I can solve most emergencies on any vessel, not just a Salvager, but I still need to rely on my crew when it comes to a permanent solution.

How good are you at selling Premium Scrap to a stranger?: "If you would, good sir or madam. My diagnosis scanners picked up on a minor malfunction in your secondary engine channel. It's nothing major. For now. You'll need to fix it eventually though, or else your cruise drive will have random malfunctions. Drifting away into space in the middle of a pirate attack isn't pleasent and you can either go to a big repair depot and pay tens of thousands, if not close to a million. Or I could give you the replacement parts. I should have a stash somewhere in my cargo hold. They're used, but they'll function for multiple decades, at least. If they're installed correctly, that is. We could help with that, but that would almost double the cost, since we're in a hurry. In my honest opinion, you should simply take the parts and install them yourself. It's quite an easy procedure, near most any repair dock worker can explain it to you in the span of five minutes. I'll throw in a discount. Say, 35% off?"

What would you do if you get caught smuggling by a member of law enforcement? What about if you're stopped by a bandit while smuggling?: "Wait, these are illegal? I knew I shouldn't have listened to that trader. He told me I'd get me a great deal if I brought it a few systems into [insert respective house here]. I'll drop the cargo right now. Don't want to associate myself with this. Do with it whatever you want. I got this in [roughly 2 systems away]. The vessel was named [insert random belivable name here]. Might want to take a look at that."

What knowledge do you possess of the Puerto Rico system, if any?: Honestly, I didn't spend much time there. I may have when I was a kid, but I can't remember all that much from back then. I had to go there to take over command over the family's Salvager. So I know about the Vieques Shipyard and I have since sold some resources there. Other than that, I don't know anything. Never even left the Ponce Fragment while I was there.

What ships do you already own?: The family's Salvager. For now I've simply put my name onto it. So the current designation is "Rell.Harrow". Of course that's only a temporary solution but I haven't really had the time to come up with a proper name. I briefly considered "Harrowing", but quickly decided not to use that. My name is uncommon enough, don't need to make a weird joke out of it. Though I'd like to. Maybe someday.

Could have typed this out but saw the text length ingame and decided to copy the wiki instead. I did read both though.

Are you allowed to pirate in Liberty as a Junker?: And risk the loss of a safe haven not only for me but for all Junkers? No. Big no.

Have you had any interaction with a Congress member thus far? If yes, what was his/her shop or character name: I saw some congress members. That was over five years ago, before my hiatus. I didn't interact with them much safe for a brief greeting and maybe a few pleasentries. Can't even remember the names.

Your Skype or Discord details: Discord details are the following: Galgamos#3415

While I do have Skype installed, I only start it up every few months.

Since we're still oorp: Best wishes to whoever reads this! o/ Also, brief hint: The draft of the questionnaire says "Puerto Rico systen", not "system". Just thought I'd let you know.
