I hate to bring this up when you've already put effort into modelling something, but we actually already have a near-completed replacement SCRA shipline based on Yue Fei's Revolution Bomber model.

Morgan's one is too... blocky, too stiff. Not to be r00d. But those other ones have dynamic and god I loved the shape of the original Coalition shipline
Balance-wise, those look like they're going to run into some of the same issues as the old ones. There's a reason I didn't replicate the originals too closely. I'm nearly finished anyway, so there's no sense in stopping now. When I'm done, might I suggest that we put the issue up for a vote and let the community decide? Or at least let SCRA's leadership weigh in?

The old ones did not have issues. The VHF was using the bomber's hitbox, which included an entire extra gigantic fin beneath it.
Regardless of the outcome I still do want to give hand-detailing Cap's a shot. Since they're rather clean in their design and appearance they're a good platform for basically sketching onto and filling the details out from there.
Morgan's give me the impression of a less militarized ship, and I know the SCEC folks have been doing good work representing a more non combatant aspect of the Coalition. Perhaps if they pan out, they could be put in as a Coalition civilian line of sorts?
