I'd strongly advise against mixing the cruiser and battlecruiser slots. Since the UN lack access to a battlecruiser, I'd say 2 cruisers on each side would be the fair thing to do here.

The problem is, ALG wants to use its SRP battlecruiser.

I'm open to balance suggestions to fix this, or we could just try to sculpt our strategy to adapt. Ultimately UN losing matters less than anything else; I'm okay to have an increased chance of a loss in return for everyone getting to use the ships they want to use.

[ALG]-Schneesturm - gunboat

You can mix the slots but giving UN 1 cap more is not gonna be fair. Maybe if RM had a cruiser of their own it would work, but I doubt Karst is some BC ace so just keep it at 2 big caps on each side.

What's your suggestion for the UN big cap composition, if I set it at One donau 1 battlecruiser for the RM side? Trying to think of balanced compositions. Give UN a battleship + 1 cruiser? I feel that'd tilt it the other way. Could just give UN an extra bomber or something and tightly regulate the loadout.

There's no "balanced" composition that includes a battlecruiser on one side and not the other.

depends on who flies the bc.
a cruiser can kill an inexperienced bc, an experienced bc can kill 2 cruisers and couple of bombers
generally its better to not include bcs in an event where the other side doesn't have one.
