The texturing is done well enough, I've modelled a good few things that ought to be submitted but I can't texture at all so they are all sitting here:P
yes. I divided the ship into some 14 components to texture it accurately. But 14, thats nothing to vanilla FL ships textures. They are separated into over 20 some components to apply textures, some of these components are made up of only 2 or 3 polygon.
I think texturing is fun if the texturer know how to do it. I only have Freelancer textures and tried to texture one of the untextured ship in these topic, but i give it up:D. Maybe with the next ship will be full textured.

My problem is that i have to many components. Big components, like bady tail, etc.,but no small parts for deatils.
well, large components can be separated into smaller one, or smaller one assembled into larger ones. By the look of the ship in your avatar, you wouldnt need that many components to make it. maybe 5; cockpit mid body rear engine wings and smaller details would have been more than sufficient.
they're a bit... bland. The fourth one was nice looking though, good textures on the others could make them look better.
If we're adding these, I'd suggest using them as replacements for the homeworld ships. The fourth one would be a good replace for the turanic or kushan freighter.
