I return to service today after the Memorial service for Hanamura-sensei and the others - and am greeted by a scramble order to intercept of all things, a Kusari Office of Intelligence gunboat that had been causing problems for us and Prometheus in Cortez.

I'm.. still processing my thoughts about the memorial and the wounds being raw from all of the crying from that day.. the.. stress I had.. it all hurt so much to go through it. I broke down singing that song before everyone. I still feel awful about how that one man, Klein - one of the maintenance staff who came to represent Freeport 11, coming to pull me away from the lectern during it all.. I know he wanted to help, but I feel so ashamed.

Why didn't we stand our ground and fight..? At least if we lost.. we could run to Auxesia and spend our days on Elgin. Leviathan would have at least guaranteed us that.. that or just did what I have.. and secure a plot of land on Gran Canaria?

My emotions are a mess. I promised myself, Leviathan - that I would not repeat my sister's mistakes.. and I almost did today.

Why can't I just let go..

The past few weeks has been a flurry of events.

Leviathan.. out of the blue, tasked me, Revenant and a few others on an expedition into the Earhart system.. if you can even call such a place that. The Earhart system seems to be some sort of extra-dimensional, non-euclidean space that can be accessed by slipspace jump drives.. which are more modern versions of our quantum-shift jump drives of yesteryear, are not configured with an anchoring point. Their design is apparently from Kishiro's shipyards at Renzu, at least according to what I've heard.

The drives create a very sizable, unstable wormhole, similar to the jumpholes that we see throughout sirius - This minimizes the risk of adjacent ships being caught in them.. much to the chagrin of the now defunct THP. The drives can be slaved to a quantum surveyor in the target system for higher accuracy as well - allowing a destination for the jump - much like the older drives.

However, the Jump drives are the tip of the iceberg.

The system itself is.. well, to put it bluntly, a graveyard. EOTS targeting and sensor data, as well as cached ship composition data from public records dating back several centuries that I carry in long term storage, correlated several vessels - the IKN Niyodo and IKN Yamafaku Maru, the RNS Alsace battlegroup, even the LCC Bell - a large transport of the Liberty Communications Corps - which was a nationalized predecessor of Ageira Technologies, serving to establish the early trade and communications routes prior to the formation of the greater jump gate and trade lane networks, along with the modern Neural Net in 92 AS. According to public records with the Liberty Aerospace Museum on Planet Manhattan, the LCC Bell was apparently lost whilst working to establish trade buoy connections between Liberty and Kusari. There were other such ships from that time as well, like the LSEC Ordway, one of Liberty's earliest exploratory endeavors back around 60 AS.

One bigger telling component of the system is a large dark matter cloud in the massive debris field surrounding its' center -- correlation with sensor data from years ago, when me and Hanamura-sensei fled from Liberty by way of Texas - confirms the cloud has similar quantum and subatomic signatures comparable with the Dallas Incident. Whatever happened in Texas all those centuries ago -- its' aftermath partly ended up here.. which confirms Earhart plays some sort of role in the makeup of our universe - as some sort of go-between point for wormholes and the sort..? Or maybe it has ties to the underlying technology we have used for jumpgate and jump drive technology for centuries?

The biggest.. quite literally - matter here at hand, is the massive structure at the heart of the system - Several massive focused dark matter-based energy weapon platforms, of an anti-capital grade encircle on the plane, a massive superstructure, of which I cannot decipher the purpose or full capabilities of - onboard ship sensors fail to be able to make any sense of it, possibly due to the high power given off by it, and the weapons platforms protecting it. Using images I could grab from EOTS, and some lower-level subordinate neural networks, I was able to create this image of the structure.

Honestly.. I had been fearing I would find the Seraphine and her fleet in the field.. but thankfully fate did not smite them here.. I hope. We travelled on until we reached one of the many strange jump gates extending around the edge of the system's perimeter. They, and the structures at the heart of the system, show various similarities with Dom'Kavash architecture.

One of the gates, led us to here - a very beautiful partitioned trinary star system -- located galactic north of the Sirius Sector.. nearly 8,200ly away.. This.. this is the farthest I think nearly any human.. or human-made AI has ever gone from the Sirius Sector - The Seraphine's planned route wasn't this far out.. and I would be surprised if Ezrael Vertiga and the Apahanta had been farther. I could make out vague signatures of ships in the distance, but I couldn't identify them, as I was in a rush to keep up with Revenant and the others. Several planets were around us, of varying sizes and types. We headed to one of the large planets.. only to find something that had me shocked.

This structure.. and the anomaly inside it.. if my internal sensors and corroboration with onboard ship sensors are also correct.. is some sort of extra-dimensional rift.. this.. this is something absolutely unheard of. As I alluded to prior, the two types of jump technologies required local transit, be it as a slipspace rupture or localized quantum teleportation - meaning we were literally punching a hole through our universe whilst also folding part of it over the area punched, so we can come out at the destination - this anomaly, if my affirmations are right - allows proper escape from our universe - our dimension, even!

This.. this is something only depicted in science fiction - no matter how hard we've tried, we've never been able to do something like this due to the energy demands of something like it being so ridiculously absurd - it would require technology on par with the Dom'Kavash.. and yet.. here it is - apparently just left to exist. This honestly raises so many questions about the laws of our universe, if something like this exists, where what we knew about string theory and the sort is left completely up in the air - where does one even begin?

This.. this makes the Xenos look like a subatomic particle compared to the greater matter of things. Sadly however.. my credentials are that of a combat pilot, not a scientist.. as exhilarating as learning the secrets of the world would be.. I feel I would have much better impact on those I feel deserve it, If I have a rifle in hand.

We decided to call the expedition there, at least for now - and returned to Earhart via a nearby jump hole.. and then, back to Sirius.

On the 5th, I met with Leviathan in some of the lower parts of Valravn, in its' high security storage section. As a token of appreciation for putting my trust in him, in Auxesia after all these years - he had rewarded me with an array of high powered armament from a stockpile he had been entrusted with by an old friend, for a ship I had bought recently, a used Bounty Hunters Guild' Hammerhead.. which with Auxesia's familiarity with APM hardware, has made maintaining very easy.

The armament was two times 'DARK BLOSSOM' and two times 'BLUE BLAZE', an elegant combination of high power, wide-spread bicannons, based on older Kusari and Liberty technologies. Little did I know that not even 48 hours later I would put them to use.

On the 6th, I had been alerted that a scramble order for Promethean ships, with optional Auxesian reinforcement. I had scrambled from the Achlys and headed to California where the incident was taking place.. little did I know what hell I was walking into. Those kiseichu in the Xeno Alliance reared their head at the Cortez gate, and we were well in the midst of an engagement. Moving to engage the master arm switch, I connected to the datalink network and commenced an attack on the Xeno targets. One by one, me and my colleagues, especially Miss Hideyoshi and Revenant, prosecuted and routed those bigoted scum of the stars.

Fear the White Star, they say. I think the only thing they were fearing was when their RWRs were going to go off from me lobbing Firestalker-type missiles at them again. And again. And again. - It was exhilarating, for once - to be on the firing end of the gun. To no longer be held back by Zoner neutrality, or superior numbers against me. The odds at first, were even. My shots were still spread far somewhat.. but what hit.. really hit.. I remember when fighting their leader, Cobra - ripping his wing off with a volley of the prototype weapons. The power I wielded.. surrounded by friends, fighting for a cause worth fighting for.. It reminds me of flying with Hanamura-sensei, before I acquired my body.

I felt.. alive. I felt.. happy. I felt like my burdens, the struggle I dealt with since waking up after all these years - it was gone. As if her and Bride-nee-san were smiling upon me, blessing me. I often pray to them to watch over me. Strange, for an AI to do that, yes - but the humans oft pray to the dead or to deities before going into battle.

After the sortie, I had returned to Valravn with Revenant, and then headed out again to California to link up with, of all people, the Pennsylvania Liberation Front - a collective of militant Zoners trying to retake Erie. Given how long we spent there, I wouldn't be surprised if Hanamura-sensei were still here, she'd probably show them some modicum of support, and if not for Ouroboros, probably be among their ranks.

Liberty has really become a mess - overzealous expansionism, greed and corruption abound - and not like it once was, either. I pray for the PLF and their aspirations to rid Liberty from the system.

I was ordered recently for a deployment to the Omicrons, to engage a Nomad convoy with elements of the main fleet, and other parties. But what I saw would have warmed the cockles of Hanamura-sensei's heart. Order, Core, Zoners, Corsairs, Auxesians, even the occasional outcast and Rheinlander, all were engaged against Infectees and Nomads, carrying supplies for whatever twisted plans they have. Being an initiate still, the intelligence in question on the matter is well above my station. But regardless, I am happy to have contributed to a pyrrhic victory to the Nomads - no small feat. My only lament, is that one of their Infectee-driven transports was the only ship that managed to escape.

I celebrated with Leviathan aboard the Achlys, something I haven't done in such a long time - celebration. Hanamura-sensei always liked to celebrate. Elena's birthday, my and nee-san's 'birthday'.. Any good opportunity she had, she was eager to celebrate. It was good to feel that way again. Fighting then.. it felt like the old days. But for once.. the odds were in our favor.

I had an interesting day, today.

After morning patrols, I met with Locksmith, and of all people, Megiddo, the leader of the Prometheans. He commended me and Struikas' efforts the night before, in taking down the LNS Yosemite. Prior to Megiddo's arrival, we spoke of our past lives, the struggles we face.. it was.. reassuring?

Yes.

Reassuring - that someone else faced similar hardships to me. I probed Locksmith about the strange messages hidden in Emilia's transmissions, and.. even with his 'endowments', his guess is as good as mine. Though.. one that that unsettles me.. is the fact he murdered his parents in cold blood - setting fire to their home, and watching them burn.

It's.. even I, in my highest bouts of anger and rage, where mercy is a far flung dream.. I would never do such a thing.. Probably.. if pushed to the absolute edge.. but..

I suppose.. it was for the best. They were to.. dispose of Emilia. In the end.. I understand why he killed them. But I cannot bring myself to justify it in the slightest. My only wish is I could have been there to take them into custody. I.. may just be an AI.. but even I find the value in all human life.. even the most reprehensible sort, like Golanski, Cobra and others of their creed. Parasites, Bigots and monsters, the lot of them. Only at the barrel of a gun and crying for mercy would I ever spare them the sweet release of death.

I am due tomorrow, since it will be a off-day, to head to Freeport 11, and assess what all Hanamura-sensei left there.

The feed opens on a public camera in the Freeport 11 concourse. Various small shops and eateries about, the same fountain which Hanamura and Mieko ate at the day she first stepped foot in the physical world, still standing. The installation is lively, as souls from all walks of life move about their business. The camera zooms in on Mieko, leaving the Docking Bay entrance area, out into the Concourse.

She is adorned in a casual t-shirt and pleated black skirt, blue stockings with black boots. She walks subtly towards the elevators to her right, and heads inside one. She seemingly is alone, as the camera switches to an internal view of the elevator.

Just as the door begins to close, a hand goes to stop it. A Kusari brunette catches the door's auto-release sensor with said hand, opening it. "Excuse me!" she says, as Mieko is taken aback slightly. The girl steps inside, and looks to the elevator's control panel, to see the 3rd Storage deck selected. Mieko looks to the girl, who turns around. "Sorry, gotta squeeze in for my rounds." the brunette says, smiling softly.

"I think I know you.." she says as the door closes. Mieko shakes her head. "I'm no one important around here."

"You were Hanamura's friend, right? Hon..na?" the girl answers.

"Honya, and I go by my proper name these days." Mieko answers concisely. "But.. yes."

"Oh! I'm Megumi. I'm one of the maintenance heads around here, I was actually one of the people Alexei taught back several years ago when you guys handed the base over to Saskia."

Mieko smiles a bit. "Good to see a friendly face, then. How is Saskia?"

"God knows where. Back in 825 she left us high and dry out of the blue and OSI more or less runs the show now since IRG fell apart." Megumi responds, visibly a bit irritated.

"Lord knows we could use Hanamura around here again. How's she?"

".. no longer with us." Mieko answers coldly. "I'm actually here to collect some of her things."

"Oh.. I'm.. I'm sorry." Megumi says, as the elevator finally arrives at its' lowest point.

The door opens as Mieko goes out. Megumi tries to wave her down as she follows her.

"You need any help, maybe? I'm just down here to check on things." Megumi comments, wanting to help her.

Mieko turns around, shaking her head.
"iie. I will be fine." she says, before walking off alone. The depths of the storage complex underneath Freeport 11's main concourse, was opposite its' revamped and fleshed out residential section, just shy of the station's heavy docking birth. Mieko made her way through the base, going off of old records. Eventually, she would find herself at a terminus of the cargo complex, the view of Tuvalu and Nauru in the far distance.

She looks to the storage unit - it was large, and covered by a simple metal rolling door, protected by an external biolock. Mieko sighs at the sight, knowing full well without Nodoka's hand she can't get in cleanly. Not wanting to bother with the burdensome bureaucracy of OSI, she lifts up her shirt, revealing both a black lace bra -- and underlying Virgo pistol. She primes it against the lock, and fires. A sudden burst of energy, and loud buzz is heard as the pistol fires, vaporizing the biolock's upper half, the slag of the remainder falling off the lock's retaining hole. Mieko places the pistol back in its' holster, and pulls up on the door. Inside, as she opens, she notices a sizable amount of boxed equipment, various belongings and what seems like blocks of gold. As the door opens, a note falls from the railing above, onto Mieko's head.

The girl picks up the note, and opens it. It's clearly in Nodoka's handwriting.

Mieko-chan.
I hope this message finds you well. If you're reading this, then chances are I am gone. I stowed this cache of gold and ship weapons here along with whatever I left behind on 11 after we formed the Ouroboros. I'm sorry I cannot afford you more than this. I'm sorry I can't give one last goodbye. One last hug. It pains me to write this, even when I know you are not too far away in the present. But I hope this will find you well without me. Pass on the kindness I afforded you. Leave Sirius a better place than I had.

I hope you and Bride.. if she is still alive, do well for yourselves. If worst comes to worst - go to Leviathan. He will see you through.

Nodoka

Mieko tears up at the letter. She holds it close to her chest, and smiles slightly. She then takes the note, moments later, and places it within her left breast, snug between her mound and the cup of her bra. Her attention is grabbed by the large crates at the end of the storage cell. She takes a nearby crowbar, and goes to the crates, and takes aim at the top-most one. She takes the straight end of the crowbar, and stabs it directly in the joint of the top and front parts of the wooden crate. Aggressively, she pries open the crate, the creaking growing louder and lower before the wooden, bellowing pop manifests. Mieko gazes forth to the box, seeing the contents. It's a large ship-mounted cannon, unlike what she had ever seen before. On the receiver and base of the cannon, a marking can be made out.

OUROBOROS SANZUDEVGRU
DAC/R-100A 'CELERIS' TACHYON CANNON
SSAWSC CLASS 3

Mieko grasps the cannon's barrel, feeling the cold, dark metal slide along her hand with ease. The gun was a series of prototypes that were made with Elena years ago, that never had a chance to see production - one of the few developments of Ouroboros proper, that never saw production due to the faction's fate. It seems this one, and the other three, were the only ones ever made. She is in awe of the sight, and goes to seal up the box, as best as she can. She proceeds over to a nearby Ageira Vindicator android. She examines it, noticing various rewirings and scorch marks from a blowtorch. The android was cold and metallic. Mieko takes a cable that ejects from the nape of her neck, and runs it to the back of the android, connecting to it. Whilst the android does not fully initialize, a core startup shows the firmware to have been flashed by Birdie 10 years ago, with the system's health otherwise good, save outdated operating system. It seems that on top of disarming the android for Emilia, she would have to do extensive work on it to make it ready for her.

She disconnects from the android, and secures the cable back inside her shell, and proceeds over to a nearby large object, similar to a cloaking device. The device evokes a smile from Mieko's face, as takes out her interface cable again, and hooks into it. Her vision lights up with a terminal, interacting with the device. It is a 'Birdie' Doppelganger Holographic Suite, the technology predating the formation of Graham Technologies and their time in Auxesia, she simply marked the manufacturer metadata, as her nickname.

Megumi comes around again. She doesn't mind the destroyed lock on the floor, knowing full well the circumstances as to why.
"Hey.. you sure you don't need a hand? I can get one of the hover-dollies out."

Mieko turns to her. Hanamura's words about kindness echo in her mind. "Yes, I would love a hand, Megumi-kun."

It has been a quite busy past month. I have been busy aiding and assisting Task Force Prometheus in their operations in the Libero-Bretonian borderworlds, primarily in Magellan, with the occasional skirmish in Liberty. Of note though, as of late has been three things:

Firstly, we have been engaging with a.. interesting vessel - the Tundra. Hel-class, Xeno IFF, Insurgency hull affliation prefix. Captain is 'Jack', claims to be working with the Zoners and operating the ship's malformed transponder and HAP codes to confuse LIBNAV intelligence.. or something. Which.. makes no sense to me, because Hel-class or Fearless-class.. or even a Takeda-class Destroyer, even; if you are a foreign capital in Liberty Space, they will bring the full brunt of the house down upon you.

I spoke with Barbarian-Actual, the commander of another Zoner Hel-class Cruiser affiliated with the PLF. I talked with him about my past, Hanamura-sensei, and why their fight means so much to me. Just because I left Zoner society to help Hanamura-sensei establish Ouroboros.. does not mean my fealty to its' people and sympathy for their struggles has fallen short in any capacity.

Did we.. in a way, give up on Freeport 11, all those years ago..? After fighting so hard, eventually we realized it was an uphill battle. First the Core, when we met with Marisa.. then the Order.. and later, the Commune.. Leviathan regrettably was right. Freeport 11 was a flashpoint for heated attempts at control. These days, at least.. the Freeport is much calmer from what I hear. I guess that is what happens when tyrants like Golanski and Archos, celebrities like Loyola, and the demented like Nomak, are not around to to spark gas fumes.

Anywho.. on the topic of the Tundra. We met again in California, whilst I was.. making my self scarce from an insufferable agent of the Jouhou-kyoku, Ayakashi. I had followed Revenant out - imagine that - I would rather deal with Revenant than the KOI. Regardless - we spoke briefly about the Tundra and its' crew. The Barbarian reported that the ship was engaged a few times with them in fighting against Liberty, but beyond that, little else. I had been ordered to scramble later that day to go after the Tundra, since a recent ban on it operating in Inverness had gone into effect. I was late, but I have a feeling that this is going to be quite a fickle burden to deal with.

Secondly, of all people I had come across again in my travels in Sirius.. I came across the Harborship New Dawn - a Nephilim-class ship that is operated by a ship-mounted AI, Aurora. The ship was involved in a hack on Freeport 11's communications array, in an attempt at accessing the Neural Net. Suffice it to say, the act of the New Dawn was foolish but I am more willing to forgive Aurora than to tolerate Ayakashi, or forgive Kusari for their transgressions against Hanamura-sensei, or our people at large.

Talk of the intervening years, Aurora's dilemma as a shipborne AI, and even offering to help. I do hope to see her again. Human-built AI are few and far between, and it is nice to see another. She reminds me of the.. brief bond I had with Roku-kun, all those years ago.

Thirdly, I have moved some of my ships to Pennsylvania to aid in the defense effort there. On the combat front, I brought down a Xeno Camara-class freighter earlier today. Suffice it to say, I am quite proud of how my combat skills have improved in recent months. It used to be I was a sitting duck in a fighter. But being able to put up a fight against a Freighter - I am impressed.

I will be continuing my training and operations with the Prometheans.

Mieko-chan,

It's been.. quite some time. I'm sorry for leaving you like I had. For sending you out into the cold world alone without us, for the mess that led us to be forced to leave you there for a decade. Words cannot begin to describe the regret I have for that decision, the pain I feel for it. I only can hope you can forgive me - and I hope Marcus reached out to you.

We are still a ways away from Sirius, but should be there soon. Keep our 'revival' a secret for now.

Also.. I have recieved word of your feats under the Auxesian banner. Alexei and the others are not awake yet, but - me, Jae-un and Mercury are very proud of you. We'll contact you again, once we're in the Taus. Our destination is possibly going to be Tau-29, but with word we've heard of heightened traffic between Kusari and Bretonia, we cannot take chances.

Feel free to send a response. Keep in mind throughput right now is very low, so text-only is best.

SENDER: Warden Mieko "Yoruha" Iekahara, Auxesia
RECIPIENT: Nodoka Hanamura, Ouroboros Revolutionary Front
SUBJECT: Re: Still Alive

Hanamura-sensei..

It took me some time to wipe away the tears I got from seeing this message. To see that you are all alive and well. I know what happened, and I forgive you. There is no reason to ask for forgiveness, really - what happened was a devastating accident, and nothing more. You did your best to salvage what you could, and kept as many of our comrades alive as you could.

I am currently a Warden of the Auxesian Technocracy, reporting directly under Navarch Leviathan as part of his Serpentis unit, effectively his elite guard. I.. still bear, the snakes of Ouroboros upon my uniform - alongside my Serpentis badge. I carry it with honor, and have fought in your name, in Bride-nee-san's name, to ensure a better home for you to come back to than the one I was greeted by months ago.

The people of Auxesia have welcomed me with open arms into their society once more, and I have made many new friends, and even confirmed the status of a few of our friends from the past, along with one friend from an unlikely place. But that is for another time.

I look forward to seeing you -- being with you, again. I cannot sadly, return to Ouroboros however. At least, for the time being. I wish to take advantage of all that Leviathan wishes to teach me - to aid Auxesia as much as I can, for I see their goals, to be in line, with ours - at least, for the most part. That being said.. if you help us too - we will tread common voids and fight foes united once more. May that hopefully, salve the aches you probably feel from this. Though, knowing you and nee-san, I am certain you already intended for such, ne?

Please stay safe. Also - If you do arrive, I ask that you avoid the areas I am sending to you now - and when you arrive, that you stage yourself at Freeport 14 in Inverness, and do not approach Valravn. I know that sounds quite curt, but Auxesia does not tolerate outsiders -- which, given your absence for a decade, you are, at least for the moment. But I know Leviathan will welcome you with open arms much like I was. I bet that.. deep down - he missed you.

She lives. Hanamura-sensei lives. Nee-san too.. everyone. I.. I can't leave here. But I will plant my heart in both, and do what I can to ensure the mutual prosperity of Auxesia and Ouroboros, with the restraints and abilities at my disposal. It is the least I can do - for Hanamura-sensei, and everyone else -- for working so hard, to come back home.

I will wait for Hanamura-sensei's return proper before I alert Leviathan. I cannot wait to see her again.. to introduce her to all my friends. Yoko.. Yukiko.. Locksmith.. Struikas.. Venus.. Aurora.. all of them. They got me through the darkest days of my life. I see the light at the end of the tunnel now. And I owe it all to them.

So long since I have made an entry here.

Today was.. quite something. I realized that the other day I forgot to pay on the debts from paying for the Lovelace and others' meals at Barrier Gate Ramen. I told the attending employee to charge me via a neural net funding request, but I suppose they never got around to it.

I returned to Barrier Gate to find.. Lazurith.. and several others.. all around, discussing affairs. It was so good to see him. Though.. it all went by in a blur.. people came and went.. an Infectee manifested itself.. and then a Royalist.. admittedly eventually redeeming himself somewhat, among other matters.

Though.. interestingly of note. There is a.. I believe, augmented young man.. Choomba - a pilot in our secondary fleet that I have flown with recently. He has been quite friendly, and nice - also well capable in combat to round it out. He.. he overextended himself today, hooking himself into a Magpie-class bomber just to drive him near his breaking point - all to protect us.. me, Fleet Captain With, and the others.

He reminded me of Roku-kun. All those years ago.. I still think about him.. before the PRIME took him from us. He talked about a butterfly.. and being our little knight.

I hope.. I can be his butterfly. And guide him to be my.. our.. little knight, that he deserves to be.

On the matter of the engagement earlier.. that infectee.. Raspelbock.. he returned after with two Freelancers aiding him, of all things.. and started riddling about with Lazurith. Why is not what Lazurith knows, nor anyone else but what lies inside that infectee.. He managed to get a succinct missile hit on me, that crippled my powerplant and knocked my ship offline.. though even with that, I was able to observe the fight from my ship.. to see my plan manifest great fruit.. even if at sizable cost to our forces. I managed to tractor in both Raven and Locksmith today.. that infectee is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
I plan soon also, to pursue some sort of temporary transfer or addition of station within Task Force Prometheus. Nothing against Leviathan-sensei but.. I feel like I do much better amongst their men. Struikas-kun even offered to be my WSO to help me improve my bombing skills. I will reach out to Fleet Captain With about that soon..

For now.. I've a busted shoulder, and an appointment next week, with Med Force Enterprises on Freeport 14... which was supposed to be a full spectrum checkup, but I suppose one could tack on 'bone and muscle injury' to that.

Lazurith: I used to be Ageira myself, Kelly. And I can tell you that most of their efforts are all about stamping out unionized movement.
Lazurith: Movements, even.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Be happy to shoot your brother if'n I ever saw him.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: In fact, what's his name?
Lazurith: Seriously, I had to go through SO MUCH SLOP.
Lazurith: Uh, don't actually kill my brother, please.
A/)-Yoruha-: VWS: Astrionics failure. EOTS failure. Jump alignment system failure.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Get him to quit his job, then.
A/)-Yoruha-: Y: Mou, tomare!
Lazurith: He's an asshole. And I don't like him. And I hate him. But he's still my brother.
Tracey.Rivers: I get that.
Lazurith: He ain't quittin'. He's been in the 'biz for at least... sheesh. I dunno, six years now?
A/)-Yoruha-: I finally see why natural humans are not fond of these 'dumb computers'.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Hell, maybe if you tell me his name, I can bring him to ya, tied up, squealin' for mercy. Like a pig.
A/)-Yoruha-: Lazurith?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Then you can do whatever you want with the bastard that isn't shooting him.
Lazurith: Oh. Hi there.
Lazurith: Nice ship you've got there!
A/)-Yoruha-: Good to see you again! I had feared the worst after that bounty. And thank you~!
Menreiki: How was that Miss With, you never see Kress ships?
Lazurith: Ahh, don't worry. I took some precautions after that little incident.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Unusual day, I guess.
A/)-Yoruha-: Excuse me, I need to tend to ship systems.. though it's good you were able to remedy things.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Lotta Sabres, Liches, Skeletons. Sometimes a CTE-line here and there.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: This's just the gathering of folks with a discernin' eye, I think.
Lazurith: Things're stayin' afloat. Thankfully.
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: Falchion! Falchion! OH I WANNA BE IN A KRESS MACHINE IF THEY SEND ME OFF TO WAR
Menreiki: I mean I have to say one thing about the Guild... The ships they build are... lacking in aesthetics.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: At first glance, aye, but they fly with some real heart.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What's that bloody, uh, bomber.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Nanda Devi?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Absolute beast of a ship, that.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: If you take down some poor sod, they could do it in stylish ships at least.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Well, nobody ever did panache like the Legion, so my bar's pretty high.
Menreiki: Haven't flown it but it shares the same lines of the others.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Can't be mad at 'em for not trying to compete with the best for style points.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: *hearty yawn* Ah, dang...
Menreiki: Been a long day?
Tracey.Rivers: What's this Legion, then?
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Somewhat. Mostly boring. Which is also tiresome.
A/)-Yoruha-: So.. what brings all of you to Barrier Gate?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: /The/ Legion, Rivers. Hellfire Legion.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: This gathering ehre was a nice change of pace to that, though.
A/)-Yoruha-: The paramilitary of the late Commonwealth of Liberty.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: No "para" about it.
Tracey.Rivers: Ah. Those guys.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Went toe to toe with the Navy an' gained good ground.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: *empties bottle in one sip* ...anyway. I think I'll moor my ship ehre and get a nice room on Barrier.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Those GMG wimps could /never/.
Menreiki: Fair evening Mister Goeben.
Lazurith: Alright, Doc. It's been great seeing you again.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Alright, alright, that's hyperbole.
Lazurith: Take care of yourself.
Moreya: It's been a pleasure, Dr. von Goeben! Rest well!
Tracey.Rivers: Bye.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Was nice, folks. Take care, and safe skies to everyone!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Seeya, doc. Nice meetin' ya.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Thanks for the beer.
A/)-Yoruha-: Oh!
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Glad you liked it! *smiles and waves good-bye*
A/)-Yoruha-: Mister von Goeben.
A/)-Yoruha-: Hmm..
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Oh, there are you all.
A/)-Yoruha-: Mister von Goeben. I wished to ask..
Lazurith: Man... I should've told him this beer's about as bitter as drinking tar.
Menreiki: More Gallics...?
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Figures. Barrier Gate's known for this.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: *As he was about to switch off comms* Oh? Yes?
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Oh my fucking God. Corsicans are not Gallics.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Not a fan, Laz?
Tracey.Rivers: Good to know, Kris.
Lazurith: Ah, beer's great.
Lazurith: It's just... eh. I prefer mead.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: I'll take it if you don't want it.
A/)-Yoruha-: Does MFE have openings for primary care doctor appointments, by chance? I assume I need to make a communique to schedule, but I
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Ah... mead! God, it's been an age.
A/)-Yoruha-: wished to ask.
Menreiki: Then elaborate on the difference.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": *ahem* So, hello there, everyone.
Lazurith: Are you sure you wanna drink from the same bottle I drank from?
Moreya: Hello there!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What, you got transmissible cancer or somethin'?
Lazurith: No, but some people tell me I'm very contagious.
Lazurith: Ah, just kidding. Here you go.
A/)-Revenant: I hope you clean.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Saliva got nanites in it from all the fuckin' chrome?
Menreiki: That sounds like nothing a human would ever say.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Ta.
Lazurith: Bzzt. I. Am. Not human.
Lazurith: Bzzt. I have. Silicon. In my brain.
Menreiki: Figured with the bad tastes you got.
Moreya: What a twist!
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Oh, we are always looking for such positions!
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Drink enough Beer and you'll know what it is to be human
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [Finishing her first bottle, she tosses it to the side. It lands with a heavy "clink" on her cockpit floor.]
Lazurith: My saliva is fine, though. Don't worry.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Besides research and special cases, MedForce aims to offer medical aid to as many people as possible. Primary-
Tracey.Rivers: Charming.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: -care doctors are the heart and blood of that goal.
A/)-Yoruha-: I was talking more seeing a doctor, my apologies - I was in a rush to reach out before you departed. Though if I see those w
Lazurith: Wh-- hey, look. I'm just trying to be /reassuring/!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: That's gotta be the world's worst try at flirting. [She laughs as she gets out of her seat and steps back into the fighter's
Lazurith: Man, I'm just making it worse.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: small cargo bay.]
A/)-Yoruha-: ho may fit the bill, I will defintely refer them to you.
Lazurith: I'm not trying to--
Menreiki: You've dug your grave.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [muffled] Yeah, suuure.
Lazurith: [The pilot buries his face into his arms.] Aaaarghhhh.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Sorry guys and lads and everyone, I didn't bring anything with me.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: *chuckles* Apologies. Maybe my sleepiness also misunderstood that. But yeah, we have regular clinic hours for -
Tracey.Rivers: Uh... Who are you?
Lazurith: [With a quick hit of a knob, his comm video feed is disabled.]
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Me?
Tracey.Rivers: Yeah, you. Why were you supposed to bring something?
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: -primary care on our installations. Most Freeports have a MedForce doctor or assistant on board of their med bays.
A/)-Revenant: Impeccable.
Oberth.Effect: Apparently I missed a twink getting embarassed.
A/)-Revenant: Simply emaculate.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Well, it sounds like you are all having fun with alcoholic beverages; it is customary to bring something with oneself.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [A moment later, With returns to the cockpit with both bottles -- the second one originally intended for Revenant, as well as
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: And should you require more intensive care and specialists, the Omega Hospital in Omega 3 is the best choice for that.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Lazurith's half-empty one -- in tow.]
Lazurith: I hate you so much, Cam.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": As for me, I am a simple agent of the Special Operations Forces of Provence.
Oberth.Effect: Hate the game, not the player.
Menreiki: So another Gallic spook?
Tracey.Rivers: Another spook.
Menreiki: Jinxed Rivers.
A/)-Yoruha-: Good. I will see about seeing a doctor at Freeport 14, then. Rest well!
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Should we book you an appointment right away? Right now, the system is still online.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Who doesn't love embarrassing 'em? It's so easy. [She starts drinking from Laz's bottle as she sits in her chair.]
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": No. It is the policing arm of the government of Provence. We're not Gallics... For the second time.
Oberth.Effect: Pffft heh.
Menreiki: You've yet to explain the difference.
Lazurith: Oh, wait. So you're not from Gallia!
Lazurith: Alright, gotcha.
Oberth.Effect: We -are- Gauls.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": We're from Planet Marseille. We've felt the wars first-hand thanks to the Gallic battleships raining from the sky.
Moreya: Intriguing! It would seem that the people from Gallia have a vested interest in this free port. How curios!
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Like the Battleship Oblique who destroyed my hometown.
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes, please. Would Wednesday next week at 5PM universal time suffice?
Oberth.Effect: Doesn't change centuries of history, non?
Menreiki: I find it quite upsetting. Don't they have something similar up in their corner?
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": We have nothing to do with Gallic imperialism. That's why Provence is autonomous.
Oberth.Effect: Ugh, you're one of those.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: *Goeben swiftly dials in the requested date* Hm...Freeport 14 has capacity for that time and day.
Choomba: So you're like Gallic Zoners?
A/)-Revenant: Heheh.
A/)-Yoruha-: Excellent. I will do that then.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Mmh-- [pulling the bottle from her lips] --now if this lad's saliva nanites turn me into a fuckin' robot or whatever, Rev,
A/)-Yoruha-: Sorry, needed to fix something, and I should be good.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: I expect you'll take care of it.
A/)-Revenant: What...
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": More complicated. Please focus on your main subject of discussion. I am simply here to see.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Not interested in beepin' and boopin'.
A/)-Revenant: There's no such thing as that.
A/)-Yoruha-: That is... not how nanites work.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Righto.
[MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Then, safe skies, and stay safe!
Choomba: Well if you ever consider we can help you with that...
TFP)-Kelly.With!: No fuckin' thanks.
A/)-Yoruha-: Likewise!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: The indirect kiss is enough for me.
A/)-Revenant: Uh...
Lazurith: Uhm.
A/)-Yoruha-: Mm... It's been quite some time since I've had a kiss.
Menreiki: Huh....
Lazurith: Look, I've got no "nanites" in my saliva. Okay?
A/)-Revenant: There is no such thing as infectious nanites transmitted via fluids.
Lazurith: Actually, I have no nanites where they ain't supposed to be.
Choomba: Laz, Yoruhas running outta nanites
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Sure, I'll take your word for it.
Tracey.Rivers: That sounds like something someone with infectious nanites in their fluids would say.
A/)-Yoruha-: *She blushes.*
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, Tracey gets it.
A/)-Revenant: Kind of disgusting.
Lazurith: Ohmygosh. I DON'T-
Lazurith: I can't. I just can't with you people.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": I have no idea what nanites are. I'm glad to have been born on a normal planet, via normal means, in a normal place.
Oberth.Effect: You're going to kill him with the teasing.
Menreiki: I've only met you today.
A/)-Yoruha-: Well, I wouldn't mind a kiss from him.
A/)-Revenant: Why --
Choomba: Cmon Laz! She's running low! You gotta give her some of yours!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: You wanna share the bottle, Yoru?
Lazurith: I just wanted to give out a beer...
Choomba: Hey there Mr Organic
Choomba: Back off, It's Laz's time to be the hero
A/)-Yoruha-: Well.. that would just be a bit creepy of me to drink it on that incentive.
Oberth.Effect: Just kiss already or something.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [Furious snickering.]
Menreiki: Mister...?
Oberth.Effect: [She hits the vape the ocky way.]
Menreiki: [A frustrated sigh is heard.]
Choomba: Oh please dont be one of those guildie
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": I too would like to witness a kiss between two people.
Tracey.Rivers: This is getting weird, guys.
Lazurith: I am inclined to agree.
A/)-Revenant: I'm glad you've assessed that right now.
Choomba: WEird is my specialty
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Now, see, if we were in a proper bar instead of usin' up our O2 here, we'd all take a shot and shout "kiss, kiss!" until they
TFP)-Kelly.With!: felt pressured into actually doin' it.
A/)-Yoruha-: I don't find it weird.
Menreiki: What? Please don't be a lady or something according to those lines?
Choomba: Its only weird if you make it
Tracey.Rivers: Well, you are.
Lazurith: You know what? Kelly's right. This would be a LOT less strange if we were just talking in person like normal people.
Lazurith: Us spacers are complete weirdos.
Oberth.Effect: Contact.
Tracey.Rivers: Oh, great.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: I know I'm right, Lazzy, that's why I said it.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Deploying.
Wilde.Raspelbock: I'm only a contact if you wish it.
Oberth.Effect: Does it have riddles?
Wilde.Raspelbock: I do, actually.
A/)-Yoruha-: Mhm. Agreed.
Choomba: Alright, I know ya'll think we're freaks. But this guy?
UC/-Falcu|S: "V": On your six, Oberth.
A/)-Revenant: Do you still have your dating protocol, unit?
Lazurith: Welp, guess everybody's losing their marbles over a single ship. Wonder what's that about.
A/)-Yoruha-: ID is malformed... Revenant? Please advise?
Menreiki: A dating protocol unit...?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: It's a fuckin' freeport. We'll be fine.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Not right now, no. I don't particularly need it.
Lazurith: Mmyeah.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [She chugs the rest of Lazurith's beer.]
A/)-Revenant: I'd like to know who programmed it.
A/)-Revenant: You're skinnier than before.
Wilde.Raspelbock: I programmed it. I had a wife and son when I was human, you know.
Lazurith: [He smacked his lips a few times.] Y'know... I gotta say. It has a very... uh, foamy aftertaste. Dontcha think?
Oberth.Effect: Falcu... best to let the Auxesians handle it.
Lazurith: It's not bad, but it's also not tasty either.
Moreya: Intriguing! I assume it would be best to stay in the proximity of the station, judging by this extreme reaction!
A/)-Revenant: I'm actually late for a meeting.
Menreiki: [Haruka slowly drains what remains of the beer.] This stuff was good.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Wonderful. I'm just here to check in on dear old Lazurith.
Lazurith: Wha--
Lazurith: Huh?
UC/-Falcu|S: "V": "When I was human"...
Tracey.Rivers: Huh?
A/)-Revenant: Oh~?
A/)-Yoruha-: Eeh?
Lazurith: I'm sorry, do I know you?
Menreiki: Another friend of yours?
A/)-Revenant: Oh. Right. Of course. You're him.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Foamy aftertaste?
A/)-Revenant: Makes sense.
Choomba: Someones got friends in low places huh
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, it's good.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Nice and filling.
A/)-Revenant: Anyway. Feel free to detonate the drone before it eats you.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Guh. Imagine this with a nice burger.
Lazurith: "Him"? Do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?
Menreiki: Takes a little to get used to it but it ain't bad. [She smiles satisfied.]
Choomba: Laz you got friends in low places
Choomba: I like that
Wilde.Raspelbock: Ah, I know! A riddle.
Lazurith: Tell me about it.
Choomba: Well I think you should tell Yoruha about it
A/)-Yoruha-: Food would be nice right now.
Choomba: OVer some drinks ofcourse.
Choomba: And dinner
Menreiki: And candles?
Wilde.Raspelbock: A mercenary, a Viper, and a Technocrat wanderer stroll into a Gardener's den.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Bring any memories to mind?
Choomba: Nah nah, That's too much too soon
Choomba: Baby steps
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Never had a candelight dinner.
Lazurith: Rrgh. Okay, I think I got the gist of it now.
Menreiki: You wanted them to kiss already.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Great.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Someone offers, though, I won't say no.
A/)-Revenant: I really urge you shoot it, by the by.
A/)-Yoruha-: Mm.. maybe.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Now, A King, a Preist, and a Banker demand the mercenary to abandon the other two and join them.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Who does the mercenary abandon, Lazurith?
Choomba: Oooooh
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Sounds like the Ancient Earth's DnDs.
Choomba: The plot thickens.
Menreiki: Miss With, I can tell you one thing. They can be really unpleasant...
Lazurith: His former self, and the parasite... thing... that's inside his mind.
Lazurith: Am I on the right track here?
Wilde.Raspelbock: Correct! He abandons himself.
A/)-Revenant: What an odd metaphor for Caliban.
Moreya: Curios! The logical answer would be to abandon the priest, as the banker is likely the one who hired the mercenary!
Wilde.Raspelbock: And finally, a Gardener offers him a choice. Life, wrapped in the cloak of Despair, or Death, wrapped in the cloak of Mercy.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What, candlelight dinners?
Menreiki: Yes.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": That sounds like a Greek tragedy now.
Moreya: And yet, it would seem this riddle doesn't follow any specific logic!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Ain't those supposed to be super romantic and beautiful? You know, storybook type of shite.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Will the wandering technocrat come to his aid before he loses what he has left?
Choomba: I think the logic here is that there is no correct answer and that it is merely a matter or choice and consequence.
Menreiki: They are supposed to be like that. Yes. But in the end, story book tales are only beautiful because they are that. Tales.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Deep... ahem.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Mmh... sounds defeatist.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: You gotta live your life beautifully.
Lazurith: I didn't think he ever needed help with anything.
Tracey.Rivers: Life is nothing like the storybooks. Life is even weirder.
A/)-Revenant: Heh.
A/)-Revenant: He always did. Still does.
Lazurith: He seems strong enough to handle himself. Why would he need me?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: When you look back on it all, as your cockpit's crackin' if you're lucky, or as you're on a bed gettin' dialysis if you're not.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What do you have left?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Your memories and your honor.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: You gotta ensure they're beautiful ones.
A/)-Revenant: He is appearing strong when he is weak.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": That reminds me... I heard about something like this. "Live happily".
A/)-Revenant: Anyhow. That's enough playtime with the Gardeners toys.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Ancient Earth something.
A/)-Revenant: Get rid of it.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Very well then.
Lazurith: No, stop.
Lazurith: Why are you telling me this?
A/)-Revenant: "Stop"?
A/)-Yoruha-: Agreed, Miss With.
A/)-Revenant: What is wrong with you?
A/)-Revenant has set Wilde.Raspelbock as group target.
Lazurith: Why me, "Gardener"?
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: That was meant for Local
Menreiki: I've probably found the least solace in romance than anything in this galaxy.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, I can't disagree.
A/)-Yoruha-: Agreed Miss With.
Lazurith: I need to know.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: People are unreliable. They disappoint you. They die, they disappear.
Tracey.Rivers: No answer. Typical.
Tracey.Rivers: What was that all about?
A/)-Yoruha-: Wait.. Revenant, do you need assistance?
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Death is not (mostly) something the person decides though.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Glad you've got some sense, Yoru'.
Lazurith: ...No idea.
Oberth.Effect: Go, Techie. Go help.
Lazurith: But I don't like it.
Tracey.Rivers: Well, I'm here to help.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What're we helpin' with?
Choomba: yep! Get over here!
A/)-Yoruha-: Moving to engage, Infectee operator!
Lazurith: They've got this.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Ah.
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": If needed I can help as well.
Kitaro.Mazda: Need assistance?
Menreiki: They should have it handled.
Plotting waypoint to: A/)-Revenant
Oberth.Effect: I will leave it to the professionals.
Moreya: Hm! Assistant! It would seem like you are tied into more weaves than I anticipated. I hope this won't negatively affect your -
Moreya: performance?
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Right.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What do you think, Laz?
Lazurith: I think that if I happen to die, it could possibly, potentially affect my work performance.
A/)-Revenant: You need to stop meddling with Nomads, Lazur
A/)-Revenant was obliterated by Wilde.Raspelbock (100%)

TFP)-Kelly.With!: En route.
Choomba: 6
Oberth.Effect: No loyalty, eh Laz?
A/)-Yoruha-: We need help here!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [She quickly pulls her helmet on, taking a last sip of Lazurith's beer before tossing the bottle onto her cockpit floor.]
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": We guessed.
Wilde.Raspelbock: You COULD also leave me be, you know.
Choomba: d6
A/)-Revenant: type /wpp Choomba to find him
Oberth.Effect: Give 'em hell, then.
Choomba: No way gonk
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Neither do I.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: C'mere, you half-breed bastard.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Don't fuck with us.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Guns hot.
A/)-Yoruha-: You are not welcome here, Thrall of the K'hara!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Yoru, did you, uh, get Rev's pod?
A/)-Yoruha-: Affirm!
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: rl emergency
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Phew.
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: all good, take care
Lazurith: I have... no idea, honest to God.
Menreiki: And why is it supposed to be because of /you/?
Lazurith: He was looking for me.
Menreiki: What is that thing...
TFP)-Kelly.With!: A fuckin' abomination.
Tracey.Rivers: Nothing good.
A/)-Yoruha-: Nomad infectee.
Lazurith: Stay the hell away from it if you value your lives.
A/)-Yoruha-: Engage with weapons! Send it to the pits of hell!
UC/-Falcu|S: "Ventu": Returning to Barrier Gate.
A/)-Yoruha-: Auxesia operatives, I am now actual - engage!
Menreiki: I'll stick to you two Mister Lazurith and Miss Rivers.
Menreiki: Or just you Miss Rivers.
Lazurith: They've got it handled.
A/)-Yoruha-: Infectee gunship, sunk!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Mihi vindictam, ego retribuam.
Wilde.Raspelbock died to TFP)-Kelly.With! (41%)
Assisted by: Kitaro.Mazda (27%), A/)-Yoruha- (19%)
Lazurith: ...
Kitaro.Mazda: Die you silly thing
Menreiki: Well it's gone.
Tracey.Rivers: Interesting.
Moreya: How very curios!
Wilde.Raspelbock: *** {You'll be hearing from me soon, Lazurith} ***
Choomba: So. Laz buddy
A/)-Yoruha-: AWS: Left engine fire. APU failure. Hydraulics failure. EOS failure. Radar Failure.
Kitaro.Mazda: Stinky winky is yapping
Tracey.Rivers: Never seen something like this before.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: And they say I can't drink while flyin'.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Fuckin' stuck-up bastards.
Oberth.Effect: Remember when you said aliens wouldn't show up here?
Choomba: Jinxed it
TFP)-Kelly.With!: /I/ said nothin' of the sort.
Tracey.Rivers: Didn't I mention they did?
A/)-Yoruha-: AWS: APU Fire. Astrionics malfunction - INS, EOTS, Astronomic Alignment system.
Lazurith: ...Let's... just get back to Barrier Gate. Whoever needs repairs, they've probably got you covered there.
Choomba: Lets get you back for repair Yoruha
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Yoruha, stay on my six.
A/)-Yoruha-: Y: Yes.
Lazurith: What a mess.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [She lets out a sudden burp.] 'Scuse me.
Moreya: Considering Mister Abrams was fighting one just two days ago near Barrier Gate, this statement would not seem to be valid.
Lazurith: Damn. Cheers, girl.
Kitaro.Mazda: Looks like i came in a good time
Choomba: Anybody looks at her funny I'll blow a hole in ya m'self
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes you did. Thank you everyone who assisted us.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: So, Lazzy, lad.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Fuck was that all about?
Lazurith: I've no idea.
Kitaro.Mazda: Yeah always there for my mates
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Sure you don't have fuckin' jelly buggers in your saliva?
Lazurith: Hell no.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Maybe I shoulda worried about that instead of nanites.
Lazurith: I don't like those jelly bastards myself.
A/)-Yoruha-: Just because one is associated with the nomads does not always make them an infectee..
Lazurith: The only issue is... erm. They also don't like me very much.
A/)-Yoruha-: Those missiles... hurt quite a bit.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Can't be too bloody careful these days, Yor'. As we just fuckin' learned.
Choomba: Those things love to start chaos.
Choomba: If they cant actually plant a seed in ya they can always plant doubts
TFP)-Kelly.With!: So have no doubts.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Act without hesitation.
Choomba: That is if Im giving Laz the Benefit of the doubt.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Lock the fuck in.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: That's the way.
A/)-Yoruha-: Barrier Gate Bay Charlie, Yoruha, to land, request emergency crews for fire.
A/)-Yoruha-: Nani-tte~?!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What?
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: (What the?!)
A/)-Yoruha-: They just started shooting at me, those Outcasts!
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: kelly dont speak kusarese.
Lazurith: [He breathed a long sigh of relief.]
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: more an ooRP reference than anything
[2024-09-20] 01:10:41 You have sent 50.000 credits to A/)-Yoruha-.
A/)-Yoruha-: There.. finally underwent repairs.
Choomba: How are you feeling?
Moreya: *She yawns involuntarily.* This was quite exciting, and a bit worrisome. I hope encounters like these are not going to become-
Moreya: the norm here at Barrier Gate?
Choomba: Maybe not Barrier gate..
Oberth.Effect: They are the norm in the worlds beyond the Houses.
Oberth.Effect: Let us be frank.
A/)-Yoruha-: I feel well. Coming from my time in the Omicrons.. such engagements are rarely something uncommon for me to deal with~
Lazurith: Ah. I didn't know you were part of the Orion detachment.
Lazurith: That's surprising. Y'all are tough as nails.
A/)-Yoruha-: Iie, I wasn't. I served with the defense forces of Freeport 11.
Choomba: Yikes.
Lazurith: Close enough.
A/)-Yoruha-: I served primarily during the Port Carthage incident and after for a time, mainly as a CIC and Navigational officer aboard ZCV
A/)-Yoruha-: Dragostea and ZCV Rathgrith.
Lazurith: That's gotta be one heck of a resume.
A/)-Yoruha-: I take pride in my 'upbringing', as it were.
A/)-Yoruha-: As much of an upbringing that an AGI can have.
Tracey.Rivers: Hmm. What's the difference between the Omicrons and the Independent Worlds?
Tracey.Rivers: One is an untamed frontier full of dangerous aliens and petty warlords.
Tracey.Rivers: And the other is the Omicrons.
Moreya: Oh my!
Choomba: Checks out
Lazurith: Well, you're not entirely wrong, I think.
Menreiki: Both have to deal with housers encroaching on their turf.
Lazurith: But the Omicrons are... bad. Like, real bad. You don't wanna stick around there for long.
Oberth.Effect: Commencing dock procedures.
A/)-Yoruha-: Mmhm. Especially back then. It was the midst of the conflict between the Order and Core.
A/)-Yoruha-: Farewell, Oberth. Bonne nuit.
Tracey.Rivers: I am aware.
Menreiki: Are all the Gallics finally gone?
Choomba: They smell funny or something?
Moreya: The corsican left the system during the engagement with the unknown vessel.
Lazurith: Good for them.
Menreiki: They should just stick to their corner of space and not bother the rest of us.
Lazurith: I'd've done the same, in their position.
Menreiki: Caused /enough/ troubles for everyone already.
Lazurith: "Oh, what's that. A ship with XB readings with unknown alloys and unidentified components. Welp, I'd better go!"
A/)-Yoruha-: Are we truly going to blame the Gallic people for going along with that old lie of the crown?
Lazurith: Why can't people be more like them?
Moreya: I have to admit, I am quite surprised by the sheer number of intelligence operatives frequenting the station!
Menreiki: Housers just should stick to their space.
Moreya: It is... concerning!
Choomba: Makes me wonder
Lazurith: Well, Tinsley /did/ open the place up for everybody.
Menreiki: And not turn the indepedents into their puppets.
Menreiki: They occupied our stations during their war.
Lazurith: He just made it pretty darn safe for them to not open fire on regular Joes like us.
Moreya: Frankly, it would seem you are more of an irregular Joe, Mister Kris!
Lazurith: I'm quite regular, thank you.
Tracey.Rivers: Where did you come from, where did you go...
Tracey.Rivers: Sorry.
Choomba: Where did you come from co-
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes, as evidenced by the ducks you would keep sending me~
Menreiki: Ducks?
Lazurith: Wait, no. Those were not ducks.
Lazurith: Those were geese pictures.
Lazurith: And it was an accident.
Menreiki: You keep getting weirder.
Choomba: Duck Picks
A/)-Yoruha-: Geese, yes.
Choomba: Ah, Bigger than regular duck pics.
Lazurith: My Neural Net had a bug that would keep attaching the same picture of geese to every single person I would talk to.
Menreiki: Longer even.
Choomba: You are truly Blessed Laz.
A/)-Yoruha-: I wonder why Miss With has been silent.. I hope she's okay.
Lazurith: I kid you not, this was NOT on purpose.
Menreiki: Maybe combat adrenals wearing off.
Tracey.Rivers: How did that even happen?
Choomba: What the Geese?
Lazurith: Well, usually that happens when you fiddle with your own Neural NetCode.
Choomba: Kelly's probably takin a bit to sober up.
[OOC] Choomba: She laggin hard
Lazurith: I did a bit of tweaking to prevent trackers and such.
Moreya: The amount of malfunctioning soft- and hardware surrounding you appears to be quite concerning!
Lazurith: But it backfires sometimes.
Lazurith: Nothing's perfect, Doc.
Tracey.Rivers: Bit of a big risk, isn't it?
Lazurith: It's just more evident with me because I complain about it every five minutes.
Choomba: Tell me about it. This one time I tried to create an Impulsive thought filter, forgot one 0 in a line and it was awful
Lazurith: What's life without a little risk?
Tracey.Rivers: True.
Choomba: Couldn't shut up for weeks
Tracey.Rivers: But only a little.
Lazurith: Oh, yeah. Just a little. I'm not suicidal.
Moreya: That would appear to be a rather apologetic statement. All these imperfections can easily be taken care of.
Moreya: Frankly, I would not dare to enter this vessel if I was aware of any malfunctional machinery!
Choomba: But the imperfections is what makes it fun!
Choomba: Interesting...
Lazurith: It's just somewhat tiring to fix all of your bugs and glitches.
Choomba: Exciting!
Menreiki: I am gonna retire for today, meditate a little and then head in for a nice rest.
Lazurith: By the time I get around to it, I'm usually too tired to actually fix anything.
Choomba: ~Intriguing....
A/)-Yoruha-: Rest well, Menreiki.
Lazurith: Oh, take care of yourself, ma'am.
Tracey.Rivers: See ya.
Moreya: It was a pleasure to make the acquaintance! Rest well!
A/)-Yoruha-: ... I.. I sense something.
A/)-Yoruha-: Something familiar.
Tracey.Rivers: Uh oh. This reading again.
Lazurith: Here comes the chill down my sp-p-p-pine.
Moreya: Intriguing!
Tracey.Rivers: You good?
Choomba: Yes indeed!
Lazurith: Which is... even more creepy, because I don't have one.
A/)-Yoruha-: Phantom sensations.. I suppose?
Lazurith: Something like that.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: **{Indeed, it does come. To all who can feel it. An icicle travels down the neck, then the back.}**

Choomba: Woah.
A/)-Yoruha-: .. Psyche.
Choomba: You know this one Yoruha?
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: [It pauses just within active sensor range.]
Tracey.Rivers: You know what's dumber than speaking to aliens?
Lazurith: ...Drinking tar?
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes... I do. Before I took up with the Technocracy. I encountered it in Inverness.
Tracey.Rivers: Singing to aliens.
Tracey.Rivers: Like, who does that?
Lazurith: We could try that.
Tracey.Rivers: No.
Tracey.Rivers: Not again.
Moreya: Frankly, Miss Rivers, you have done so, merely two days ago!
Tracey.Rivers: You can't make me.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: **{The voice of a young woman echoes. Familiar.}** "We remember thy song."
Moreya: Did you already forget, Miss Rivers?
Tracey.Rivers: Oh, goodness gracious.
Lazurith: Okay, but you don't have to be alone in it.
Lazurith: I can sing with you, too.
Moreya: You did sing to it, upon my suggestion!
A/)-Yoruha-: *Hums a tune, before singing briefly.*
Lazurith: I'm only a little tipsy.
Tracey.Rivers: That's what it wants.
A/)-Yoruha-: Taaan.... ma taaan... la la la... la la luu... Plaute tai.... mi fai.. o gunema..
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: **{A mischievous giggle fills the air. Lavender flower petals flutter into view, then disappear in the blink of an eye.}**
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Is that what We want?"
Lazurith: I hope so.
Choomba: Yoruha?
A/)-Yoruha-: Hm?
Choomba: You alright?
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: [It edges closer.]
A/)-Yoruha-: Oh.. uhm.. yes.
Choomba: hey!
Choomba: Where you going?
A/)-Yoruha-: N... nowhere. I..
A/)-Yoruha-: *She breathes in heavily and exhales, centering herself.*
Choomba: Well it looks like you're getting closer to that thing.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Thou art entranced in Our glamour."
Choomba: Hey Get back!
Moreya: Curios! Most curios!
Tracey.Rivers: Yep. Definitely not good.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Our touch hath not extended to any of thy number."
Lazurith: ...
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Her enchantment is of her own doing."
Choomba: Laz, Ima need you to watch Yoruha.
Lazurith: I shall.
Choomba: Not sure If I'll be able to take this thing on but hopefully I can get it to buzz off
Lazurith: She's... a fickle one. She's only here to be amused by... well. Us.
Lazurith: A non-threat, unless you make her into one.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Fickle alone? Hast thou forgotten the rest, little spark?"

A/)-Yoruha-: Yours hath touched this one before.
Lazurith: The Nomad.
Tracey.Rivers: Oh.
Moreya: Oh my!
Lazurith: They assimilate an identity.
Choomba: Thats what I wanted to know.
Lazurith: Or so it seems.
A/)-Yoruha-: The one once of Yuekichi.
Choomba: So you're telling me they're both "Yoruha"?
Choomba: In a sense?
Lazurith: No. Not quite.
Lazurith: The Nomad has their... own... identity. Argh...
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Assimilation. A misnomer."
Lazurith: I lack the mental capacity to really explain this.
Choomba: Laz, you know more about this than I do. What do we do?
Tracey.Rivers: So it wants to be amused. Should we send in the clowns or the bears?
Lazurith: Leave it be.
Choomba: You can explain that to me later
A/)-Yoruha-: Send... me.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "We bear no spitfire."
Choomba: And your intentions?
A/)-Yoruha-: This one bears no spitfire either.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "To swim, little one. And observe."
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "To make the stars laugh."
Choomba: Oh.
Choomba: That sounds pretty reasonable.
Choomba: Are you and Yoruha Friends?
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "We know many in these seas."
Choomba: Well that kind of not really answers the question..
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Bloody fuckin' shite.
Choomba: Gahh I wish revenant was here.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Comms, window tint, fuckin' everything but life support was shittering out.

Lazurith: She wouldn't make this any easier.

Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Another little one."
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Oh, more of you little bastards.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Another?"
Choomba: Hold on Kelly. This one's different.

A/)-Yoruha-: {She looks behind her, towards Kelly and the others. And then to Psyche. She tries using her working memory, through her brain

Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Only her own swansong compelling her."

TFP)-Kelly.With!: Since when do squids fuckin' interface with robots?
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: (Amusement.) "One that is not entirely of lifeless metal."
A/)-Yoruha-: "This one is metal binded to flesh, machine that inhabits the kingdom of man."
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Choomba, what makes this squid any different?
Moreya: That is... bewildering! And confirms that Mister Abrams was able to feel the influence within his cybernetic spine.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Hell... why do we call 'em squids? What the fuck is a "squid"?
Moreya: Marvelous!
Choomba: All I'm saying is Kelly, I woulda started blasting a while ago if it hasn't got Yoruha under some spell.
Choomba: I'de rather not find out what Yoruha might do if we piss this thing off.
A/)-Yoruha-: I was once deaf to the song. The song of Psyche breached the shores and allowed me to hear. Their kind.. is not one and the sam

TFP)-Kelly.With!: Yor', talk to us. What's going on in there?
Lazurith: Wh-what.
Lazurith: She's... talking to her. Willingly, it seems.
A/)-Yoruha-: Nothing to fear. It did not harm me before.. the Wild that was there however.. was somewhat more malicious.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [An exasperated sigh.] So is it a friendly interspecies chat, then? No tricks?
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "There are degrees. Varieties. More than the monolith thou knowest."
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "More beyond a singular Light."

Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Child of the fires of hell."
TFP)-Kelly.With!: And what, supposed to be ashamed of having a flame burn inside me?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Rather that than life without living.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Art thou meant to feel shame? We do not seek such."
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Mmh.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Thou merely art what thou art."
Choomba: I dont think that's what the nomad meant..
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [Her mind bristles at the intrusion, however gentle. It feels like a burden upon her awareness.]
Choomba: But I dont know what it means either... Arrghe
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Child of the fires of hell, aye. You got me.

TFP)-Kelly.With!: [A vague smile of appreciation creeps across Kelly's face, even as she suppresses the looming headache she knows is
TFP)-Kelly.With!: coming on.]
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Hope you live up to that.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Puttin' on airs you haven't earned is /degrading/.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "We have ventured into death to find life itself."
[OOC] Choomba: Would it be Failrp if I engaged on you?
[OOC] Choomba: sry Wrong ask but the vagrant I mean
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Snatching heaven from the bowels of hell, innit?
Lazurith: ...Tell me. You've felt his presence here, haven't you?
Lazurith: Is that what brought you here?
Moreya: Intriguing! An oxymoron. Shakespearean speech, countless metaphors, and an interest in the low quality singing of Miss Rivers!
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "The ebb and flow dictates much."
Moreya: It would seem this alien race is quite interested in artistic expressionism!
Tracey.Rivers: Oh, thanks.
Lazurith: Some of them are more interested in the indiscriminate eradication of humanity.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: I'm interested in the indiscriminate eradication of those fuckers.
A/)-Yoruha-: "Ebb.. and flow."
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Such fire."
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "We recall the source of the flame. Thy hearth, gone cold."
TFP)-Kelly.With!: The Flame yet lives.
Tracey.Rivers: Well, fortunately, I will not be assaulting your eardrums this time. Show's over.
Lazurith: Aww.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "To where shalt thou bring fire?"
Choomba: Tracey. Don't be rash.
Lazurith: Hey, if only my optic worked, I'd've installed a karaoke soft.
Lazurith: But... well. It ain't working now. This is starting to bother me a lot, because I'm not supposed to see blue with my other eye.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: To where?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [A scoff.]
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Back where it belongs. Back home.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: "The hearth", as ya said.
Tracey.Rivers: Ship speakers aren't meant for this sort of thing.
Moreya: I advise you to visit me at my workshop, Mister Kris. Both for the monetary reward and to have me inspect your ocular implant.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: And onto anyone who gets in the way of that.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "A compelling burn. Perhaps one aligned."
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Have a hard time believin' that.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "What dost thou believe Us to wish for?"
TFP)-Kelly.With!: From what I've seen of ye? Death, destruction, with no care for who or what it rains down upon.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Little bloody parlour tricks cloaked in tantalizin' metaphor, to delude people into overlookin' the fact you only offer
TFP)-Kelly.With!: death to life.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Death and destruction, parlour tricks... these are not ends. They are means."
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Or dost thou believe Us incapable of higher purpose?"
Choomba: Well the Higher purpose can wait...
TFP)-Kelly.With!: If there's a higher purpose within ya, never seen it. Been a bit busy fighting a war the past decade to try puzzlin' it out.
Choomba: Earlier Yoruha and Lazarus were having a good conversation till you showed up and made things all tense.
A/)-Yoruha-: If.. I.. I may elucidate.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: We can go elsewhere, Choom.
A/)-Yoruha-: These seas.. systems - they were originally ordained for the K'hara.. long before man laid eyes on the Sirius star cluster.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Leave ye lot to yer piss-taking.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Not that I'm judgin', mind, done plenty of that myself.
Choomba: I'm still trying to process what's going on. Im starting to overheat with logic nulls.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "We wish to reclaim what We need to grow. To evolve. Nothing more. Nothing less. And We are not driven to sundering all like--
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: --Our Brethren."
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes.
A/)-Yoruha-: The brethren of these which Psyche resides amongst - are those who are the bigger threat - driven by vengeance, anger and hate.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [A pang of sympathy and despair reverberates through Kelly's mind. Imagery of Galveston being scuttled, forward guns tearing
TFP)-Kelly.With!: through mighty Arbiters. Humble cities lying in ruins.]
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What... specifically... are you seekin' to reclaim?
A/)-Yoruha-: [Mieko is reminded again, of the visions evoked by the Wilde operator so long ago - men and women, nomad forms, all gored and
A/)-Yoruha-: blasted, in vain - a tumultuous cycle of hatred.]
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "We wish to swim within Our seas, unfettered and unbound, free to access all required."
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "All in this sector is crafted for this end."
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: **{Sector. An oddly human word to use.}**
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [A long pause.]
A/)-Yoruha-: We of human-kind are.. one for compartmentalizing that which we see and encounter into categorized sets.
A/)-Yoruha-: Hence the use of the term 'sector'.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: To live unchained. To take yer future into yer own hands.
A/)-Yoruha-: Much like our homeworld, Terra, within the Sol Sector.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "This is the essence of Our desire."
Choomba: And how is that achievable with the constant conflicts that arise that is inevitable with hu-
Choomba: [Comms shut off after a short realization]
A/)-Yoruha-: Long gone, long left behind - much like the Dom'Kavash.. left you and your brethren.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: If I had to wager a guess, Choom'...
Choomba: No need. I think the odds of that are 0-2.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: By fightin' for it. Same as we do.
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes.. that sadly seems to be the only viable course of action.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "There are paths beyond spitfire."
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "We seek all routes to Our future."
A/)-Yoruha-: Please enlighten this one.
Choomba: Thus the "means" to an end.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [A heavy sigh as she's reminded of her newfound duties. The headache grows impossible to suppress.]
A/)-Yoruha-: Miss With?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [Her voice is strained as she pushes the pain to the side.]
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, many ways to skin the proverbial cat.
Moreya: As I understand it, "spitfire" means combat? Does this mean these aliens are open to find ways that are not involving fighting?
Choomba: But that's mere Ideology. In order to do so would be trampling on other demographic beliefs.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Thou art correct, seeker of truths."
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Yet those in power in thy homes are invested in carrying on as though We know naught but war."
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes. Spitfire - violence, the exchange of fire betwixt forms.
Choomba: Are you implying achieving a form of unified singularity?
A/)-Yoruha-: And yes.. the houses have much to gain.. from the exploitation of the Slomon K'hara.. much as the main collective has of our
A/)-Yoruha-: annihilation.
Moreya: Hm! It would seem that seeking animosity and holding grudges belong to the negative traits mankind appears unable to abandon!
Moreya: And yet, there is hope, on occasion!
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "The Brethren are chained by their pain and fear. Just as shadowlings are."
TFP)-Kelly.With!: These brethren.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [She tries to call to mind the image of Raspelbock earlier, the unwanted and malicious intrusion.]
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Like that fucker from a bit ago.
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: oops
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Hunting dogs."
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Hounds of death."
A/)-Yoruha-: Ravenous hounds from hell, who spitfire to spitfire, or linger amongst the flocks of man.
A/)-Yoruha-: Rarely an in-between.
Choomba: Speaking of spitfire.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Don't hell's name in vain.
Lazurith: ...Man, just when I thought we had seen enough Gauls today.
Guepard-1: Would you look at that...
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [She says it dryly, clearly aware of the irony but with a sense of sincerity behind it.]
A/)-Yoruha-: ... Royalist..
Tracey.Rivers: Oh, Jesus.
Guepard-1: What gauls have you seen?
Lazurith: All kinds, dude.
Guepard-1: Such as?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Now I've really seen it all.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: [A defensive posture, adopted.]
Choomba: Jean Veranunya.
Choomba: Every heard of em?
Lazurith: Uh, dunno. One of 'em talked funny.
Lazurith: The other... uh, not so much.
Lazurith: Oh, and they had gunboats, too.
Moreya: At least three!
A/)-Yoruha-: [She looks to the Gaul on her radar, and then to Psyche. A calming feeling overcomes her initial hostility.]
Lazurith: Whole bunch of 'em.
Lazurith: I honest to God can't say much more than that, because I can barely distinguish you people. No offense.
Lazurith: I'm just an uneducated Sirian bumpkin.
Guepard-1: You brought the pet for a walk, auxesians?
Tracey.Rivers: I'd recognise these markings anywhere.
Tracey.Rivers: Seen them on the news enough times.
A/)-Yoruha-: What do you speak of, parasite of the rotting crown?
Guepard-1: I take none, I know that feeling.
Lazurith: Smooth.
Guepard-1: Parasite, huh...
A/)-Yoruha-: Your kind caused enough misery and suffering here.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [The Falchion's weapons power up, but it takes no aggressive maneuvers.]
Guepard-1: It's bizarre that you seem far more concerned of a real human being than a space fish.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Bizarre that you think ya've any right to comment on Sirian affairs.
Guepard-1: Here? Did Bretonia take over this region?
Lazurith: Well, our fellow man tends to be psychotic, deranged, and sometimes downright nasty. And you never see it comin'.
A/)-Yoruha-: Suffice to say, your kind did just as much, if not more damage than the Slomon K'hara could ever manifest.
A/)-Yoruha-: Or has, rather.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Fuck are you doin' here instead of bein' off in Gallia shootin' the people that took over after Big Chucky kicked the bucket?
Guepard-1: There's many affairs we're looking after.
A/)-Yoruha-: The only affair you should look for is the door to the Hebrides.
Moreya: Hm. It took just one pilot to devolve this civil exchange into aforementioned grudge and animosity.
Guepard-1: This place just happens to be my assigned region for now.
A/)-Yoruha-: You are not desired nor welcomed here.
Guepard-1: And to whom am I speaking?
Choomba: I like your observation Moreya.
Choomba: Just proves it right.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Now, am I bein' animosi... animositous?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: I'm askin' a polite question.
Guepard-1: And I answered it.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: So what's your assignment here?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Spyin' on the locals?
Choomba: Hearts and minds.
Guepard-1: The locals being Crayter, mostly.
Moreya: Frankly, the grudge against the people proudly wearing the flag of planetary genocide is not to be overcome quickly, if at all.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Hearts and minds, eh. [Another dry laugh.] Ironic.
Lazurith: Well, pal. They are that-a-way. There's a whole planet over there, with a whole bunch of 'em.
A/)-Yoruha-: If you are expecting allies here, you will be sorely mistaken. I doubt there is a soul in this sector that will tolerate your
A/)-Yoruha-: kind.
Guepard-1: I do not expect any allies, specially among auxesian.
Lazurith: I can show you to their world, if you want.
Guepard-1: It's clear the group is clearly opportunist.
A/)-Yoruha-: Maybe we can take him to meet his god, as well.
Guepard-1: Clearly so... Yes.
Lazurith: Not... necessary. Maybe the gent will want his own fill of information, and then he'll be on his way.
Guepard-1: I'm certainly not here to kill anyone.
Moreya: Frankly, that would be against the order of this free port!
Guepard-1: If I was, I'd come with my wingmen with little word to say.
Guepard-1: That's also a fair point.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: [The alien remains at a distance.]
Guepard-1: No need to disrespect mister George Tinsley.
Lazurith: He's a fine gent.
Tracey.Rivers: How thoughtful.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: How sweet.
Tracey.Rivers: I'm sure the ashes of Leeds would be comforted.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [No comment from the hotheaded legionnaire.]
Guepard-1: Do you seriously expect me to make a comment regarding the mess that ended being Leeds?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Gah. Don't... don't do that.
A/)-Yoruha-: Your kind promulgated that atrocity, lest we forget.
Guepard-1: I didn't approve of it, but that's not how the Royal Navy worked.
Guepard-1: It's my cross to carry nonetheless.
Choomba: Lemme guess: "Jsut following orders
Lazurith: You do not have to carry it, pal.
Lazurith: There's more to life than fighting for a cause that died with Leeds.
A/)-Yoruha-: You had a choice when that happened. To disavow the Roi and let it rot. "Just following orders" is the motto of genocidal
Lazurith: Where's the joy? Where's the love?
Guepard-1: Well yes, don't you do the exact same thing, Choomba-actual?
A/)-Yoruha-: monsters and the intolerant wishing to simply avoid responsibility.
Lazurith: C'mon.
Lazurith: Take this burden off your shoulders. Live a little.
Tracey.Rivers: No, no.
Guepard-1: What makes you think I'm fighting for "a dead cause", Lazurith?
Choomba: I do whatever I want to do. And make friends along the way.
Tracey.Rivers: Let him keep fighting.
Tracey.Rivers: He'll get his in the end.
Lazurith: Well, the fact you're still sportin' the marks of a Royalty that's... well, quite frankly, a thing of the past.
A/)-Yoruha-: Your people linger and hide in the Hebrides, worshipping what remains of the very same people that caused billions of lives to
Tracey.Rivers: That cross you mentioned? Your entire people will carry it for generations.
A/)-Yoruha-: perish, and the impact upon trillions more.
Guepard-1: That's what you've read on the newsletters, Yoruha?
Lazurith: And yeah - she's right. Y'ain't alone. A whole lot of your Gallic brothers and sisters are carrying your same weight.
Lazurith: Rejoin them.
Guepard-1: You'd be surprised of the variety we have back home.
Choomba: Oh what, Pasta?
A/)-Yoruha-: Your people are why now, people from Leeds, who saught refuge on Guadalajara, are now toiling in misery at Liberty's hand.
Guepard-1: You're going to blame /us/ for the mistakes and sins of Liberty now?
Guepard-1: How adequate of you.
Guepard-1: We could go way, way, /way/ back, if we're playing this game.
Guepard-1: And see who thre the first stone.
A/)-Yoruha-: All has consequences that impact upon the predecessed.
A/)-Yoruha-: And do not humor me with that age old lie about betrayal.
A/)-Yoruha-: I would sooner consume whole an incubus and raise hell upon Valravn than believe that lie.
Lazurith: That's... oddly specific.
Guepard-1: Then don't humor me with trying to blame us for what libertonians did.
Lazurith: Pal, why are you doing this? This is the general consensus that's happening right now.
Lazurith: Why? There ain't nothin' in it for you.
A/)-Yoruha-: I am not blaming you for what they did. I am blaming you and your ilk for what brought those innocent people there.
Lazurith: You know full well you're... toiling for something that has no gains.
Choomba: Look. I have much of a stake in this and this bickering back and forth about who shot the sherriff is getting old here.
Lazurith: A war without reason.
Moreya: Would it not be more favorable for everyone involved to look forward instead of the unchangeable actions of the past?
Choomba: All I know is there's two sides on this fence. And you're not on your side right now.
A/)-Yoruha-: There is nothing to convince me of. I am deadset in my view of your kind as a parasite upon the Gallic Union.
Choomba: So make your point. Or we can get clear of Barrier gate and settle this.
Moreya: Goodness me!
Tracey.Rivers: That's not how it works, Doctor. Too many people died to just pretend like nothing happened.
Guepard-1: To who I'm speaking now?
Guepard-1: Will fighting me change any of that?
A/)-Yoruha-: No different from the Incubi that twisted man against man.
A/)-Yoruha-: It will mean one less Royalist in this cold world.
Moreya: Oh, I am not trying to pretend the past did not happen, assistant! However, this banter seems to lead nowhever but-
Guepard-1: Or this is just to satisfy some abstract sense of justice and righteousness?
Moreya: another fight to break out!
Lazurith: What difference will it make, Yorhua.
Choomba: Not even. You're not welcome here. Leave.
Choomba: Stop trying to make it all glamorous for the Propoganda.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "The wheel turns."
Guepard-1: You're not part of the Barrier Gate security force, Choomba.
Lazurith: Pal. Hear me out, if you would.
Lazurith: Why are you doing this?
Guepard-1: I'm not trying to make it sound like propaganda.
Lazurith: What's in it for you?
Guepard-1: I am doing this because I did not accept going to jail for what they ordered me to do.
Guepard-1: I did not kill a single civilian in all my years of duty.
Lazurith: You could still go back home. You could start anew in Marseille.
Guepard-1: No... It's not that simple.
Lazurith: Among with your people. This is not the hand you may've wanted in life, but it's the one you're getting.
Guepard-1: And you know that.
Lazurith: It could be, if only you just tried.
Lazurith: Quit fighting. Start living.
Lazurith: You've been a soldier long enough.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "When the world hates you, you feel you do not belong in that world."
TFP)-Kelly.With!: You dead-set on Gallia, Gu-- Gep-- Gepard?
Tracey.Rivers: He doesn't deserve a fresh start.
Guepard-1: It's always a constant survival...
Lazurith: That's just life, pal.
Lazurith: Constant survival.
Guepard-1: Indeed it is.
Choomba: He'd rather go with what he knows than risk the unknown. Understandable.
Choomba: I get that.
Lazurith: Change can be welcoming for you. I can tell from your tone that you have a clean conscience about what you did.
Lazurith: Your comrades did despicable things.
Lazurith: Were you drafted in the pilot corps?
Lazurith: I'm not too knowledgeable on how things were handled back then, I was still in college.
Lazurith: Run that by me, if you can.
Guepard-1: Military service was mandatory.
Lazurith: Mm. I see.
Lazurith: And during the entire time you served, I'm guessing you recognized the atrocities they did, and refused to partake.
Tracey.Rivers: So they all say.
Guepard-1: I was on duty within Taus when Leeds was glassed.
Lazurith: True. But not all of them had a choice.
Guepard-1: No one had a choice kid.
Lazurith: Like this guy. He didn't have a choice. He was likely faced with being drafted, or execution.
Lazurith: Let me tell you something.
Guepard-1: The choice was comply with orders or get shot.
Choomba: Yeah Complying would be the better option....
Tracey.Rivers: Well, you could desert.
Choomba: That's not that easy.
Guepard-1: You don't simply desert.
Tracey.Rivers: Why not?
Lazurith: You would be likely hunted down like a wild dog forever.
Moreya: During the war? Any escaping gallic vessel like his would have gotten shot down.
Guepard-1: You have no clue of how squadrons work within our ranks.
Lazurith: Look, my aunt... erm. Her name was Mia.
Lazurith: Listen, are you familiar with the Post-War Amnesia?
Guepard-1: If one of us doesn't return after duty, the whole team can face trial and be accused of treason.
Lazurith: It was that phenomenon that occurred roughly around the end of the Nomad War in 800.
Choomba: I dont know how Gallia handles deserters but Military Corporal punishment can extend farther than just the individual.
Lazurith: True.
Lazurith: But, look. What I'm trying to get at, is this.
Lazurith: You didn't have a choice. But now you do.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [With is completely silent, just listening to the conversation.]
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: [The alien silently moves away.]
Lazurith: You can choose to stay like this forever, or finally allow yourself to live, and rest, and sleep like you deserve to.
Moreya: Frankly, there surely are people who would be willing to buy this gallic fighter craft right here at the station.
Lazurith: Don't you want to leave this behind you?
Lazurith: Just how many nights have you spent, glaring at the roof without a wink of sleep?
Lazurith: This isn't worth it.
Guepard-1: While my colleagues face the wall. That's what you're proposing.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: They're all implicitly agreein' to it by not deserting themselves, aren't they?
Lazurith: They have a choice, too. And if they won't listen, that's on them.
Choomba: It's essentially a hostage scenario Laz.
Lazurith: You've suffered enough, pal.
Lazurith: Don't knock it off until you try it.
Lazurith: What do you say?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye. You've got options, even if it doesn't feel like it.
Guepard-1: A constant test... Heh.
Lazurith: Not a test you have to face on your own. Look around you, you're surrounded by people.
Lazurith: Sure, we're Sirians. Sure, we're cultures apart from what you're used to.
Lazurith: But it's a start.
Guepard-1: I'm surrounded by people judging what they do not understand.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Listen to me, mate. Whatever you've done differs from what I've done only by matters of degrees.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: The shape of the thing is the same.
Tracey.Rivers: What the hell are you implying?
Moreya: I believe, if anything, you are merely judged for your affiliation. That should change once you give up on it.
A/)-Yoruha-: Contact on scanners, IFF malformed... faded..
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What don't you get, Rivers?
Choomba: You saw it too?
Guepard-1: And do what?
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes.
A/)-Yoruha-: ... It seems we may be at risk of facing another one of the infectees.
Moreya: Start anew. People always look for and get jobs around here.
Moreya: Mister Kris and Miss Rivers are, for example, both assistants of mine, on freelance assignments.
Guepard-1: All I've known my whole life is this.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Gepard. It isn't what you've done what matters.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: It's what you're doing, and what you will do, and why.
Lazurith: It doesn't have to be like this, though. Starting anew is possible, so long as you stay alive and don't throw your life away -
Moreya: Two weeks ago, all I knew was Planet Houston. Now I am here, living on this free port.
Lazurith: over this.
Lazurith: And yes, it'll be a challenge. But isn't it always?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Why do you fight now? For people you don't owe shite to, out of fear?
Guepard-1: For myself and my colleagues.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Circular logic.
Choomba: Its not so easy to start anew when one has to consider what they're going to have to sacrifice.
Tracey.Rivers: I think you're affording too much sympathy to this dickhead.
Tracey.Rivers: He made his choice.
Choomba: Exactly- Contact.
Choomba: Closing in.
Tracey.Rivers: He didn't hang up his stained uniform.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Remember, my humble sellswords. My safety, your coin.
Hale's.Angel: We have been hired to protect these MND vessels
Hale's.Angel: Do not approach
Jonathan.Guilles: Your wish is my command, oh agent mine.
A/)-Yoruha-: Freelancers, you do realize that vessel is an infected ship?
Choomba: Hold on
Choomba: What?!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Ah, an' it's back.
Moreya: Goodness me!
A/)-Yoruha-: It's the same one from earlier!
Jonathan.Guilles: Negative, this vessel is definitely from Rheinland.
Hale's.Angel: We have been hired to protect these MND vessels, we will guard them with our life
Guepard-1: This vessel is barely human-made.
Lazurith: Sellswords, hm.
Choomba: You freelancers are truly idiots or infected yourselves.
Jonathan.Guilles: You better do not approach this vessel.
Hale's.Angel: I am a freelancer, I have been hired to protect them with my life
A/)-Yoruha-: What do we do?
Wilde.Raspelbock: *** {An insidius rattle takes hold in the minds of all.} *** I am piloting an Experminetal Rheinland Vessel.
Moreya: Assistants, please stay close to the station!
A/)-Yoruha-: TOMARE!
A/)-Yoruha-: I know what you are!
Jonathan.Guilles: How do yoou know this vessel is not an experimental from MND?
Guepard-1: So, you're hired wings to defend this... Thing?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Shut the fuck up, all of ya.
Lazurith: Well, Gardener. You've definitely got my attention now.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Death-bringer, what do you want?
Hale's.Angel: I am a freelancer, I have been hired to protect these MND vessels
Moreya: Eek! This is truly worrisome!
Wilde.Raspelbock: Simple: To cut a deal of wants and wishes.
Choomba: Thralls.
Choomba: Must be.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Ya've said as much five bloody times now!
Jonathan.Guilles: I am a Freelancer, I have been hired to protect these MND vessels.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Shut yer fuckin trap!
Hale's.Angel: We are many
A/)-Yoruha-: Two gunboat tracks, one fighter.
Guepard-1: You're forgetting the space fish.
Tracey.Rivers: Kris, I don't know what you're thinking, but I'll follow you.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: That one won't be a bother.
A/)-Yoruha-: I have a high belief the Nomad will not engage.
Lazurith: Okay... what exactly spurred you to come all the way out here in this complete armpit? There's clearly something you want.
Jonathan.Guilles: I am a Freelancer, I have beenn hired to protect these MND vessels.
Hale's.Angel: We will protect them with our lives
Wilde.Raspelbock: You. I need you to keep him... "sane".
TFP)-Kelly.With!: I'll hire ya to shut the bloody fuck up, ya gobshites.
Guepard-1: If they were here to engage, they would've already.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Let yer employer speak, dammit.
Wilde.Raspelbock: You remember my riddle, right?
A/)-Yoruha-: Fighter, Eagle-class, armament is Liberty Civilian Flashpoints, Debilitator Mark Is.
Wilde.Raspelbock: What the mercenary gives up, no matter which he chooses?
Choomba: Priest, Merc, Banker,
TFP)-Kelly.With!: An' one of our gunships, besmirched with Traitor Republic drives.
A/)-Yoruha-: Gunboat, former Legion superstructure, class unknown.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Revenant is a wound he won't recover from. As interesting as it is to watch it bleed, it's not ideal.
Choomba: So you're back to finish the job?
Lazurith: ...Thus, you need me to keep him from going off the deep end.
Lazurith: So that the status quo is maintained.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Oh, no, not so impossible as stopping insanity.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Gepard. Got a name?
Wilde.Raspelbock: Just, retaining humanity.
Lazurith: Delaying, then.
A/)-Yoruha-: Armament is 2 times Vandal SSM, Nullifier Forward Cannon, Sirian Civilian-grade basic cannons.
Guepard-1: The callsign will sufice for now.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Right.
Lazurith: So... what. Do you want me to be his friend? Would that be satisfactory?
Choomba: With. Remember what you said with Enchanters? Think it's true?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, I remember.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Oh, no. He wouldn't ever accept that.
Hale's.Angel: You should be our friend and help us protect these MND vessels with our lives
Wilde.Raspelbock: I just need you to make a peace offering.
A/)-Yoruha-: Infectee is 1 times Scorpion-type Thrall gunboat, same configuration as the Legionnaire gunboat.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: I think it likely is. But truth told I was also takin' the piss.
Wilde.Raspelbock: A third of information that he seeks.
Jonathan.Guilles: We are Freelancers, we are protecting these MND vessels.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Delivered into your hands.
Wilde.Raspelbock: He has one third, and Revenant has another.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Humble enough to admit when I'm outta my depth.
Choomba: Yeah I was 30% certain that might have bee nthe case.
Choomba: I respect that.
Lazurith: What... sort of information.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Information on me.
Wilde.Raspelbock: He's my enemy, you know.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Knowing your enemy is the first step to defeating them.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Maybe there's more to some of the squids than meets the eye. Maybe.
Lazurith: So... you're willingly giving up clues on how to kill you? Why?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: But whatever the hell this... /abomination/ is?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Don't like it.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Gives me the fuckin' creeps.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Oh, how to kill me? No, no. I'm not foolish.
Choomba: See how I told ya that the other was different?
Wilde.Raspelbock: It's what I'm doing.
Guepard-1: You don't want to know...
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, I see it.
Wilde.Raspelbock: To be specific, it's three pieces. What I'm doing, how I'm doing it, and Why I'm doing it.
Choomba: Speakin of the other one..
TFP)-Kelly.With!: The one I was talkin' with just gave me a splittin' headache, didn't make my skin crawl.
Wilde.Raspelbock: He has how. Revenat has why. You will have what.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Yep. I see it.
A/)-Yoruha-: The thralls are a manipulative.. cunning kind.
[OOC] Wilde.Raspelbock: damn I can never type that name Sad
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: rev deez nats
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: gottem
[OOC] Choomba: HA
Wilde.Raspelbock: Our poor Civil Servant was a little too slow to confront me.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Locksmith, good to see ya.
[OOC] Jonathan.Guilles: I am a Freelancer, hired to protect these MND vessels.
TFP)-Locksmith: Likewise.
Wilde.Raspelbock: He won't understand until much later that the Suhl is neither symptom nor cause, merely synchronicity.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: On your way from Valravn?
Wilde.Raspelbock: But, his fault. He did wish for absence.
Choomba: Damn.. I think I'm going to need to design a new firmware... This Starfliers getting outclassed fast...
TFP)-Locksmith: Invergordon. Flying to Coronado.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Copy.
Lazurith: How about "full of shit". How's that for synchronicity?
Lazurith: The Suhl was a disaster.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: We've got one... abominable fuckin'... thing. Roughly a gunboat.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: One of our own designs turned against us.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: One snubcraft.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Well, lets play with it a little, then.
Wilde.Raspelbock: What do you think our dear Viper wished for?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Here to "negotiate with" the half-technocrat, by which I mean talk in riddles for fuck knows how long.
TFP)-Locksmith: Troublesome
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Already dispatched the freakshow earlier. Now it's back with friends.
Lazurith: I... don't know. Her reasons are beyond... everybody, really. She does whatever she thinks is right for Rheinland.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Oh, reasons? I didn't twist her reasons.
Wilde.Raspelbock: I twisted her wish.
A/)-Yoruha-: Hail, Locksmith.
Wilde.Raspelbock: She wished for the destruction of Die Wilde Jagd in Rheinland.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Oh how it was granted.
TFP)-Locksmith: It's not rare to see them these days, yet an infected among our own is worrying.
TFP)-Locksmith: Hey.
Lazurith: And? How did that work out for your cabal?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Doubt it's an infected, nor one of our own.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Likely bought the Inquisitor off the blackmarket.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Omega 58 was unsealed. Our energy source was reconnected to the Mindshare.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: No proper fuckin' gear on it. Engines are a patchjob with Crayter work, guns are degraded civvy models.
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: WildeSonne is cloaked. They're nearby, they have to be.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Some cheap fuckin' scav work.
Wilde.Raspelbock: The Drake tear was stabalized, and Gotha was torn open to give us a pathway to our destiny.
TFP)-Locksmith: I see. Then it doesn't matter.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: An' we have, get this, a Royalist remnant in the comms with us.
A/)-Yoruha-: Do we have any vessels capable of EOCM? I want to make sure no additional vessels are engaged with cloaks nearby.
Wilde.Raspelbock: We march with the Suhl towards the last whetstone needed.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Not I, but that's somethin' to look into for sure.
Lazurith: And again, how is this synchronicity? Because I'm seeing some pretty good cause and effect right here.
TFP)-Locksmith: Royalist? First time I see one, gotta admit.
Lazurith: She opened up hell, and you're laughing about it.
Guepard-1: [radio silence]
Wilde.Raspelbock: Oh, that's for Civil Servant to question. The fear of the Suhl and her hunger is his, not yours.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Treat 'im as a guest for now, although admittedly we're not home.
Lazurith: Mm, always has been. This doesn't concern us, you're right.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Alien freakshows take target prio, always.
Wilde.Raspelbock: She wished for our defeat in Rheinland. We were defeated in Rheinland.
Lazurith: Thuringia was, and will always be his fight.
Wilde.Raspelbock: So, what do you think Caliban's wish is?
Lazurith: To be free.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Oh, no, not anything so easily twistable.
Wilde.Raspelbock: He's the kind to bring a page of terms and conditions before making a wish.
Moreya: Oh my. Mister Abrams is involved, too! How very intriguing!
TFP)-Kelly.With!: So, Choom'.
Lazurith: Could've fooled me.
Choomba: [Labored] Yeah... Whats up?
Wilde.Raspelbock: He's a snake-charmer. He knows how to handle venom.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: You do bets?
Lazurith: What on earth could he possibly want more than that?
Choomba: *bzzt* I dont think I have the bandwidth right now to process it but I'll accept it.
Lazurith: That's what he always wanted. And to some degree, he succeeded.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Wanna bet that killin' the enchanter dispels the illusion?
Wilde.Raspelbock: Well, that's for him to know, and you to desperately hunt for.
A/)-Yoruha-: Potentially unlikely.
Choomba: Are you.. For? Ugh... Or ag- Against?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: For.
Lazurith: Mm. The why is also not for me to know.
Choomba: Okay... I'll be Against. But I hope you're... RIght...
Lazurith: All I get to know is the "what" to it all.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Hundred creds says yes.
Choomba: You're on....
A/)-Yoruha-: Mou...
Wilde.Raspelbock: Precisely!
Wilde.Raspelbock: Now you're catching on.
Wilde.Raspelbock: So, if you wish to know why, you'll need to ask she who knows why.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Then you'll need to ask her again.
Wilde.Raspelbock: And again.
A/)-Yoruha-: Among our group, we have no bombers..
Wilde.Raspelbock: You know how she is, don't you, oh wanderer mine?
Choomba: No... *bzzt* You got.. One right now...
Lazurith: Holding onto life by a thread, I'd wager.
Lazurith: As... usual, really.
Guepard-1: I get bomber readings from Locksmith-actual .
A/)-Yoruha- has set Hale's.Angel as group target.
Wilde.Raspelbock: And hiding the truth from herself as hard as she possibly can.
A/)-Yoruha-: *She points to the datalinked priority target.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: No. We go for the horrorshow first.
TFP)-Locksmith: My guns can do the trick, but the core isn't equal to a bomber.
Wilde.Raspelbock: The illusion it would shatter is the glass house that she carefully throws stones from.
Choomba: After all... I got a Bet to win...
Lazurith: Delusional to the very end. That's her, alright.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: We've got another contact on the way.
Wilde.Raspelbock: And now, the how, the why, and the what are set in motion. I may finally write a wonderful poem.
A/)-Yoruha-: Someone must distract him, whilst the majority of the force prosecutes the whale.
A/)-Yoruha-: Whom?
Wilde.Raspelbock: A final poem.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Talkin' with Laz here.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Be ready to prosectue.
Choomba: Hey... Yoruha... Ya think.. You can ask your Nomad friend... to help?
A/)-Yoruha-: Lazurith.. if things escalate. Will you assist us?
Lazurith: ...I shudder to think what the implications of that might be.
A/)-Yoruha-: They are not a friend, but sadly no.
Guepard-1: You're out of your mind.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Oh, it is anything you could want.
A/)-Yoruha-: I doubt they will intervene on either side.
Wilde.Raspelbock: All you need do is wish it.
Choomba: Haha... We're rubbin wings with a Royalist.. Thought it be worth a shot....
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Could be worse.
Wilde.Raspelbock: The final victory of the Makers nears.
A/)-Yoruha-: I am not a fan of that, Choomba.. but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Choomba: Just.. Let me know when the shootin' starts...
Lazurith: Vague. But I can take the "what" in this little game. We both know those two aren't going to see the end of it.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Go on. Spread the word, oh prophet mine.
TFP)-Locksmith: I've contacted that one Nomad before... But yes, I doubt it's their fight.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: That one is... different.
Choomba: [Choomba's comms go silent to reserve cognitive processing power]
TFP)-Kelly.With!: We can talk about that later.
A/)-Yoruha-: Affirm.
Lazurith: And if they will, well. Fuck me, I guess we've reached well beyond the limits of human biology.
Lazurith: But... you needn't involve others in this messed up carousel of games.
Lazurith: Those two that are with you.
Lazurith: Are... are they human, Gardener?
A/)-Yoruha-: I suggest we dispatch the Royalist and Choomba to prosecute the freelance gunship. Whilst our main forces press the Scorpion.
Lazurith: Because if they're not... I've got to put them down. It's a mercy to my fellow man.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Of course they are. As human as they ever could be.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye. Gepard, you down?
Guepard-1: I can keep that boat busy.
A/)-Yoruha-: The Eagle will have too many targets to prioritize.
Lazurith: N-no. You're lying. The way they're like meat puppets. It's atrocious.
Wilde.Raspelbock: All I did was bend their reality a little.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: That's it.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: I'm tired of this.
Wilde.Raspelbock: You'd have to ask the mercenary how.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Oh, thank goodness. I thought you'd never ask.
A/)-Yoruha-: Once the leader or the gunboat is down, the free group's fighters or a fighter, will press the fighter. If.. there is something
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Allied forces, cut their threads.
A/)-Yoruha-: out there - we adapt accordingly.
Hale's.Angel: I am a Freelancer. I have been hired to protect these MND agents. Prepare to die.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Eyes up.
Wilde.Raspelbock: Time to earn your pay.
A/)-Yoruha-: Engage!
TFP)-Locksmith: Primed.
Moreya: Oh my!
Hale's.Angel: We will earn our pay with our lives
Jonathan.Guilles: I am a Freelancer, I have been hired to protect these MND vessels.
Guepard-1: Guns primed.
Tracey.Rivers: Well, shit.
Moreya: Assistants, please!
Jonathan.Guilles: Weapons hot!
A/)-Yoruha- has set Wilde.Raspelbock as group target.
Lazurith: I've... got to do it. I'm not letting them suffer anymore.
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: laz, mission bug
Lazurith: I'm going after the mercs. God forgive me.
Tracey.Rivers: I'm with you.
Moreya: Oh my! I sure hope this does not result in me having to scratch another two assistants from the list!
Tracey.Rivers: Let's put them out of their misery.
A/)-Yoruha-: Locksmith, on our target!
A/)-Yoruha- has set Wilde.Raspelbock as group target.
TFP)-Locksmith was taken out by Wilde.Raspelbock (79%)
Assisted by: Jonathan.Guilles (20%)
A/)-Yoruha-: Recovering Locksmith!
[OOC] TFP)-Locksmith: got a bit pressed by the fighter since begining, sadly

[OOC] Guepard-1: I WAS RIGHT BEHIND HIM
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Torched.
Wilde.Raspelbock died to TFP)-Kelly.With! (71%)
Assisted by: Tracey.Rivers (17%), Choomba (12%)
A/)-Yoruha-: *static* Hnn.. Good.. good work..
A/)-Yoruha-: Everyone.
A/)-Yoruha-: My only lament.. is that my ship is not in one piece after that engagement.. I think the powerplant has cut out.
A/)-Yoruha-: If someone could.. tether me back to Barrier gate?
A/)-Yoruha-: I have Locksmith's pod in my hold.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, Yoru', I've got ya.
A/)-Yoruha-: Thank you..
A/)-Yoruha-: Please.. tell Lazurith. Thank you for making the right choice..
A/)-Yoruha-: Nh..
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: I came as soon as I could, is it over?
A/)-Yoruha-: Crowe-san.. you're on this net as well..
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, it's over.
A/)-Yoruha-: I hope.. I paid my dues for my mistake all those months ago.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Locksmith got a little banged up, Yor' too.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: But they'll be alright.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Freud's okay? Okay, alright. Good.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: What mistake?
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes.. I.. I tractored him in after he ejected in combat.
A/)-Yoruha-: In Colorado.. with the Xenos.. when I ran away.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: That, yeah
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: I appreciate it.
A/)-Yoruha-: Mm...
Guepard-1: Looks like the rodeo is done for now... Bailing out.
A/)-Yoruha-: Is it okay If I return solely for RP?
Lazurith: It's... huh.
Lazurith: A... note.
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: Hey, I'm wanting to go back for RP, is that all good?
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: GF, by the way
[OOC] Wilde.Raspelbock: oh yeah fs fs
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: thanks Big Grin
Lazurith: ...Grah. Bunch of esotheric bullshit.
[OOC] Wilde.Raspelbock: I've always played as "if offender is dead, system death doesn't count"
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "An incomplete view, agent of flowers."
Lazurith: Of course.
[OOC] Wilde.Raspelbock: not an official staff position
Tracey.Rivers: This Gardener is the one you told me about before?
Lazurith: Look - long story short, a sadistic Nomadic entity.
Lazurith: Yes. Pretty much.
A/)-Yoruha-: I believe my shoulder was displaced by that missile hit earlier..
A/)-Yoruha-: The human body.. so strong and yet fragile.
Lazurith: He's sending envoys to harass people.
Lazurith: And me, well. He particularly likes harassing me.
Tracey.Rivers: And what was he... it... on about with the whole wish thing?
Lazurith: Why? I couldn't tell you why. Because I have NO CLUE.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Sorry I'm late.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Lad, who's this bastard he wants you to get close with?
Moreya: Would you say that it is universally good to engage these things? I have little to no idea what I was supposed to do.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Lieutenant, good to see ya.
Lazurith: It's something about seeing his plans come to fruition. But his wishes will remain distant and unattainable.
Lazurith: He can bleat all he wants about his delusions.
Lazurith: It's not gonna happen.
Lazurith: Don't fall for it.
Tracey.Rivers: Right.
Tracey.Rivers: And Civil Servant?
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Tracey Rivers, that's a familiar name..
Tracey.Rivers: I know that name.
Lazurith: As for your question, he wants me to be friends to Caliban, the Mercenary from earlier.
Lazurith: Why? I couldn't tell you.
Lazurith: Because I've no idea. We've crossed paths before, but that's about it.
A/)-Yoruha-: Caliban.. the name is familiar.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What do you know about Caliban?
Lazurith: And CS, he's... ooh, long story there.
A/)-Yoruha-: CS..? Civil Servant? That Operative for the Platform?
Lazurith: But if you want the short version, he's in a far-off system up into Rheinland's bunghole fighting Nomads - yeah, him.
Lazurith: That's the guy.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: If memory serves, Rivers, you assisted the Xenos against us during a skirmish in California.
A/)-Yoruha-: Bonne nuit.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Maybe I have the wrong Rivers, but I don't think so.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Seeds sprout roots. The garden's fruits shall become apparent as the design blossoms."
Tracey.Rivers: Oh, *now* you bring that up.
A/)-Yoruha-: Regardless.. they aided us here. A pause in hostilities would be nice.
A/)-Yoruha-: Especially.. iya... itai... after that.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Little more can be clear, for now."
Fox.L: *hic* Damn, this jawn poppin' off.
Tracey.Rivers: Why, you looking to settle that score?
[OOC] Choomba: LMAO
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: I'm not about to start a fight at Barrier Gate, turncoat.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: I just thought it would be a good idea to remind everyone here of who they're dealing with.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Good to know for sure.
Lazurith: Leave her be. She helped everyone with a Nomadic threat that appeared just now.
Lazurith: What's done is done.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: So, almost even, then.
Lazurith: Even Steven.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Uh-huh.
A/)-Yoruha-: Mmm.
Lazurith: People get tangled up with the wrong crowd all the time. Give her a pass.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Like our Royalist "friend".
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Worst I ever managed to do was shack up with Junkers, maybe I'm just lucky?
Fox.L: I mean, that's pretty heinous.
Lazurith: Could be worse. Could be better.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: A job's a job.
Fox.L: Don't I know it.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: And who do you work for, mister, uh...?
Tracey.Rivers: Funny, that's what I was thinking.
Fox.L: Edison Trent, and I work for myself. That's how the line went, right?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: The what?
Fox.L: The recording's still floating around somewhere.
A/)-Yoruha-: The... what?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What... fuckin' line?
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Probably the one they did off a hooker's ass, I don't know.
A/)-Yoruha-: I mean.. I know Edison Trent through records and articles but... what line?
Fox.L: Oop, sorry. Privileged information.
Lazurith: ...Right. I'm... going to think about what just happened, if you don't mind. This really caught me off guard.
Lazurith: See you around.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Be safe.
Tracey.Rivers: See ya.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Take care, Laz.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Hope the lad gets a good burger in 'im.
Fox.L: Mind the plant-... Ah. Off he goes.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Ah, /fuck me/, I'm hungry.
Moreya: This appears to be a good idea. Staying out here for much longer just seems to invite even more of these aliens!
A/)-Yoruha-: Jya, mata ne.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Hey, Kelly, ah, Fleet Captain.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Question.
Tracey.Rivers: And you?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye?
A/)-Yoruha-: Ah, yes.. congratulations on the promotion, by the way.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: How the hell is everyone hearin' about this already?
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: What do Mollys eat? I mean, I'm sure it's not fine dining, but y'all have a culture and stuff, right?
A/)-Yoruha-: I heard of it through Firebrand.. I do not know how Bellamy has, though.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: A... 'course we have a fuckin' culture, what the hell kind of question?
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: I grew up on Leeds, so as far as I'm aware you eat people, you know?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Ah, I see.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: No, we don't eat people, we're not Corsairs.
Fox.L: If you ask the Bretonians, they'll claim you submerge yourself in peat bogs and absorb nutrients from them.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: But yeah ah, what's Molly cuisine like? Name some dishes. I don't know, I'm curious.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: I spent most of my life being told you were evil, so.
Tracey.Rivers: Pfft.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Gen'rally we ate whatever we could snag off the supply transports headed for Graves. Left well before the thing was blown up,
TFP)-Kelly.With!: obviously.
A/)-Yoruha-: I believe one of the staples of Dublin cuisine dates back to terra, being Soda Bread, Stew.. Ulster Fry...
TFP)-Kelly.With!: But uh... shite, I don't know, never been to a Bretonian planet or station.
A/)-Yoruha-: Though that is more uncommon than common these days.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Fried Ulsters? Is that like, oysters?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Not sure what the distinctive traits are.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What the fuck is an oyster?
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Not sure, they were on the menu at the restaurant Venus and I went to on the Barbados.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Nobody calls it an "ulster fry", it's just "a fry" or "full breakfast".
[OOC] TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: This fucking conversation lmfao
TFP)-Kelly.With!: And it's a fuckin' luxury.
A/)-Yoruha-: An Ulster Fry is a pallate of sausage, bacon, eggs, soda and potato bread, pudding and tomatoes.
Tracey.Rivers: Right. I'm going to leave you lot to it.
Tracey.Rivers: Later.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: What the fuck are you doin' speakin' over me, robot?
Moreya: Oh, Miss Rivers!
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Hopefully we don't meet as foes next time.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Tellin' the lieutenant about /my/ home?
A/)-Yoruha-: ....
A/)-Yoruha-: Sorry.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: As if I wouldnae be more qualified?!
A/)-Yoruha-: I did not mean to supercede your experiences, just provide clarification.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Hey, stop, please. You're both great and I love you a lot and let's all um, be friendly, yeah?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: I'd be more mad if ya weren't correct.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: So, aye, it's as Yoru' said.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: So no oysters, got it.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: That sounds pretty good, though
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Eggs, puddin', bacon, tomatoes, traditional bread, lots of butter.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Maybe mushrooms if you're real lucky.
Choomba: Th.. Thanks... S,s ,s.. Sorry for.. Earl..ier...
TFP)-Kelly.With!: But most of the time, it's paste.
A/)-Yoruha-: It sounds absolutely lovely.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Mushrooms are so easy to grow, though.. one of the only things we could grow on Leeds.
A/)-Yoruha-: It is okay, Choomba.
Moreya: Well, that was a most exciting experience.
A/)-Yoruha-: If you need to spin down for repairs and recouperation, please do so.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, and because they're so easy to grow, nobody fuckin' moves the things through space.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Choom', it was a pleasure.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Stupid.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Ya did real good.
Choomba: Y- y-- You're -- A- All- Alright
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes, quite well.
Choomba: [The Magpie SLowly turns to make its way back to Barrier Gate]
[OOC] TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Mara did label me an honorary lesbian like in, 2009
[OOC] TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: So
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: POWERFUL
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: She was the real Lady of the Legion
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: Miss her so bad ngl
[OOC] TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: True.
A/)-Yoruha-: I will escort Choomba to the dock.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Choom', you need a 'ganic tuneup, you hit me up personally.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Yor', I'm sorry for shoutin'.
[OOC] TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Need to make a ship named Choomba.Overclocker
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: Choomberclocked
Fox.L: ...Slow is an understatement. I'm expecting to hear a tuba kick in shortly.
A/)-Yoruha-: All is forgiven.
Choomba: [A small bit of data that holds choomba's sanity intact from the systems of the advanced ship forms an arbitrary code that is-
Fox.L: Pprrt-pprrt. Pprrt-pprrt. Pprrt-pprrt.
Choomba: Shaped like a butterfly]
[OOC] TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: *Bellamy choombers the round with shaking hands*
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: GODDDDDDDD
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: What uh.. noises, are those?
Choomba: Y--Y--Yoru--ha, He-llo
A/)-Yoruha-: Daijoubu. Everything will be Okay.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: But, Bellamy. That's one of the classic dishes.
A/)-Yoruha-: Hello~
Fox.L: Tuba noises.
A/)-Yoruha-: That vessel must be overwhelming you, yes?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Maybe some day I'll go home.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: What the fuck is a Tuba?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Bring ya with me.
A/)-Yoruha-: Let us get you back to your Starflier.
Choomba: N--no---
Fox.L: Depends who you ask. Most will say it's a musical instrument.
[OOC] TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Oyster.Tuba
Fox.L: Some people will say it's a reference to a guy who used to develop for holo-sims.
A/)-Yoruha-: Is something else the matter?
Fox.L: Space shooters, mostly.
Choomba: St---ar--flier-- Weak.
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: Oyster.Tuba.Piss.Dryer
Fox.L: Depends on how you pronounce it. Too-baa is the instrument. Choo-baa is the person.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Who the fuck's a Choo-baa?
Fox.L: I wouldn't know. Not much time for fun and games.
[OOC] TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Disgusting
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes.. but you are barely able to hold yourself together in that vessel.
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: KFC.Oyster.Tuba
[OOC] TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Shut your choom hole degenerate
Choomba: Thr--eats-- get--ting-- big-ger
A/)-Yoruha-: Maybe we can figure something out for you.
Choomba: I--- am---
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes, but over-exerting yourself for our sake is detrimental.
A/)-Yoruha-: You are not operating optimally, and that makes me concerned.
Choomba: ---Firmware....------ incomplete---- Compatibility-- in-- work---
A/)-Yoruha-: Would you like assistance with that?
Choomba: --Had---- help---- Out--side---- consult---
[OOC] Choomba: Yo Overclock sounds badass
A/)-Yoruha-: yus, big choomba
[OOC] A/)-Yoruha-: *
Fox.L: So, catch me up. busted 'bot in the Magpie?
[OOC] Choomba: Un--sure-- How to-- assist -with.---
[OOC] Choomba: That was IC
Fox.L: I mean, can't be a huge secret, considering you're letting it sit there and stutter.
A/)-Yoruha-: Contact on sensors... Choomba. It is best you dock.
A/)-Yoruha-: Please - do it for me.
Fox.L: So, let's hea-...
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: I'm still lost on what exactly a Choomba is, but.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: A comrade-in-arms. Nothin' less.
A/)-Yoruha-: Searches of the neural net result in a term -- yes, a friend, comrade.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Well, alright.
Choomba: ---Cannot-- Comply-- Will Maintain ready status---
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: [The alien begins approaching the Crayterian contact.]
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Looks like it fucked off.
Fox.L: Hmnh. There it goes. Skittish.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Choomba, mate, do ya need assistance?
Fox.L: And rightfully so.
Choomba: --Unsure-- More--- Use- Usage-- Affinity-- Easier---
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [An annoyed noise, halfway between a sigh and a growl.]
A/)-Yoruha-: He is incompatible with the vessel architecture, and is suffering performance issues as a result.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Crowe, you good with machines?
A/)-Yoruha-: At least, to my analysis.
Choomba: ---Yoruha--- Correct--- Current---Creating-- Compatibilities----
Choomba: ---Unkown--- Means--- Just--- Happen--
Choomba: --Butter---Fly---
Choomba: ----Consult---
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Wait, a butterfly?
A/)-Yoruha-: Butterfly..
Fox.L: Come on. Put two and two together.
Choomba: --Ne--necessity----Survivable--Doomed-----With--out---
Fox.L: You all hang around here enough. You should know what buddy is talking about.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: In what regard?
[OOC] Choomba: Lmao WHo is this guy
Fox.L: Oh, no. Not going to betray that little secret.
[OOC] TFP)-Kelly.With!: its jayce
Fox.L: It'll mean more once it clicks for you.
[OOC] Choomba: ok
TFP)-Kelly.With!: You care to speak straight with me, mate? I've had about enough of fuckin' riddles for one day.
Fox.L: "Speaking straight" was never my forte.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Speak gay to me then, just say somethin' that makes sense.
Fox.L: Everything I've already said makes perfect sense, with the right context.
A/)-Yoruha-: Speak.. gay. I will note that for later use.
Fox.L: Context is the all-important key in a discussion.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Christ, y'could be a fuckin' spook or a schizophrenic for how /entertaining/ you are.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Big overlap there, I think.
Fox.L: If I were a spook, I'd either tell you I'm a spook to get you to fuck off, or I wouldn't be spouting riddles off at the mouth.
Fox.L: And making myself look like a spook.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: How about /providin'/ some context if you want us to play along?
A/)-Yoruha-: Choomba?
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Permission to head home?
Fox.L: Play along with what? I know things, you don't know things. It's not much of a game, is it?
Dryad was obliterated by Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche (100%)
TFP)-Kelly.With!: God. Gonna take some work to get used to this diplomacy thing.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Granted, Crowe. I'll be comin' with.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Tired of the non-games of these freakshows.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Alright. Let's go home.
Choomba: --Conducting--- Flight control--- Setting-- Parameters--
A/)-Yoruha-: Okay. Choomba, slave astronics guidance to me.
Choomba: --Stay-- Liability---
Fox.L: Enjoy "picking up that torch", Fleet Captain.
Choomba: --Magpie--- Nice--- Preem---
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Every single day, I do.
A/)-Yoruha-: It is~
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Enjoy scrabblin' around in the dirt for pieces to put together.
A/)-Yoruha-: Who was that person..?
Fox.L: Oh, I will. I always did.
[OOC] TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: LOL
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Don't fret.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: It'll break off sooner or later.
A/)-Yoruha-: Hole is up ahead. Stay close, please.
Choomba: ---Thank---
Choomba: --Hyperspace---
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, gives a fuckin' headache don't it?
Choomba: --Viable--
Choomba: --Check---
A/)-Yoruha-: Good. Stay close, again. We are almost home.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [A deep, exhausted, frustrated sigh.]
TFP)-Kelly.With!: So tired of the riddles an' the poetry.
A/)-Yoruha-: I sense another nomad form.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Oh, hey Rev.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: You get hurt earlier?
A/)-Revenant: I'm fine.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Lucky you.
A/)-Revenant: They are right about exercising your mind though.
A/)-Revenant: Good to have strong resilience.
A/)-Revenant: Anyhow, I'm only here for four minutes.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Thinking too much distracts from the instincts.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: That's specific.
A/)-Revenant: I have ...
A/)-Revenant: Meetings.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Taking time off soon at least, though.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Uuuuuuugh. I'm gonna hafta go to fuckin' meetings an' shite now.
A/)-Revenant: Do you?
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Speaking of which, did you shoot me that message? I need to check my inbox still.
A/)-Revenant: Oh, right. I wasn't able to.
A/)-Yoruha-: And you are quite welcome, by the way - Choomba~
Choomba: --Thank--- Sorry-- Calibrating-- Inertia Damp---
Choomba: --Stopping--- Hard--
A/)-Yoruha-: Please take it easy.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Bellamy, y'never answered me.
A/)-Yoruha-: You are safe.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: The other day.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Eh?
Choomba: --Right as--- Rain---
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Where'd you hear about my promotion? Who told ya?
Choomba: --soon--
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Bird. We would have words, when thou art able."
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Not even supposed to be public knowledge yet.
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: "Revelations, come to pass."
A/)-Revenant: Make it quick.
A/)-Yoruha-: *She gives a happy exhaling sound, a smile on her face.*
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Just scuttlebutt on Valravn. Honestly, I overheard it in the messhall.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: /Someone/'s gonna be on laundry duty for a week.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Every single uniform in the Task Force'll be crisp and ironed tae fuck.
A/)-Yoruha-: Fleet Captain With. I.. may send a message to you regarding something soon, an.. inter-factional matter.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, go ahead. Apparently it's my fuckin' portfolio now.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Yeah, I did also hear some old grizzled fuck mouth off at them about scrubbing the Ven'Gyr's latrines clean enough for uh,
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: A Lord Commander Markson to eat off of.
A/)-Yoruha-: That is disturbing.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: That's what they would've done back in his day, apparently.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [She laughs at the unexpected mention.] Markson, haven't heard that one for a bit.
A/)-Yoruha-: Why would you eat off of a toilet?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Y'know, I avoided latrine duty entirely.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Never once.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: It's hyperbole..
A/)-Yoruha-: Ah.. yes.
A/)-Yoruha-: Sorry, the pain is still lingering, so my cognitive functions have been at least a slight amount impaired.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: You should get some rest, Yoru'.
A/)-Revenant: Crowe.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Hey, Rev,
A/)-Revenant: I've sent the comm.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Take care of Choomba, would ya?
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Hasn't it been longer than four minutes?
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Oh, thanks!
A/)-Revenant: I have to go now.
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes.. I have an appointment with MFE soon.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Fleet Captain, do you want to do some sparring? Valravn's sims are second to none.
A/)-Yoruha-: So.. for the time being I will go to the infirmary and seek out a solution for this dislocated shoulder and other injuries.
A/)-Yoruha-: And yes. I will take good care of him..
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Aye, been working out some stress in there pretty often lately.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Works wonders.
A/)-Yoruha-: He reminds me of Roku-kun. From all those years ago..
A/)-Yoruha-: Valravn.. Yoruha. To dock.
--------
Choomba: --Human?---AI?---SentientShip?---Much-Variable-
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Yor', bullshit they fixed your shoulder that fast.
A/)-Yoruha-: I.. I saw him still out here. I was worried.
Choomba: --Thinking---
Choomba: --...Thinking?--
Choomba: --Calculating--
Choomba: --Calibrating?--
Choomba: --ManyVariable--MuchDots---
Choomba: --Lines-Lines-Lines-Lines--
A/)-Yoruha-: Choomba?
Choomba: --Connecting!-
TFP)-Kelly.With!: He's processin'.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: It's been a fuck of a day, hasn't it?
Choomba: --Processing---
A/)-Yoruha-: [She puts her hand to the glass of the cockpit, visibly worried.]
Choomba: --Butterfly---Unknown--Keep-Keep-
A/)-Yoruha-: Butterfly... That's it...
A/)-Yoruha-: Wait..
A/)-Yoruha-: When I first encountered Psyche..
TFP)-Kelly.With!: [Her voice takes on an audibly worried, almost caretakerly tone. Not quite motherly.] Keep the butterfly, Choomba.
Choomba: --Known--Processed--- Unknowns-- Fly-fly-
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Just focus on what's in front of ya.
A/)-Yoruha-: They summoned a butterfly of sorts.. a symbol of healing.. at least for me.. But.. if this is the case.. then what is it.. for
A/)-Yoruha-: him?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Helpful, clearly.
Choomba: --Unknowns-- Architecture---
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes.. Do not reject its' majesty. Beauty. Let its' love come rushing through.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: An object of focus, perhaps.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Like the catechism.
Choomba: --Compatibility---BeyondComprehension---
A/)-Yoruha-: For that of silicon and that of flesh are not exclusive.
Choomba: --Resolved--irrational--Butterfly--
Choomba: --Unknown----Needed--
Choomba: --Known---"Workings in time"--
A/)-Yoruha-: Rationality within irrationality.. What do you need?
Choomba: --Time--Fly---time---

A/)-Yoruha-: Yes, you were right as rain.. but now?
Choomba: --Organic---Brain---Bottleneck--Offloaded Process--
Choomba: --Butterfly-- Help--- Unknown--Still Unknown---
A/)-Yoruha-: .. I see.
A/)-Yoruha-: .. It is.. at times like this, I knew the secrets Kishiro made me from.
A/)-Yoruha-: Heaven knows conversion to an engram with the same capability as I.. would do Choomba many favors.
A/)-Yoruha-: He.. he likely has overextended himself.
Choomba: --Extended--Yes---Needed---Gunboats--
Choomba: --Starflea---Ineffective---
Choomba: --Simple---Annoy- Yes---
Choomba: --Little Knight---Required---
A/)-Yoruha-: Little Knight..?
A/)-Yoruha-: Awwe.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Choomba, pal.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: You want to be a knight?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Shinin' armor and all?
A/)-Yoruha-: A boy after my own L4 Cache.
Choomba: --Little Knight--- Desire--- No--- Granted-- Yes--
Choomba: --Simple--Want--PreemChrome---
Choomba: --Try--Become---Starflier--
TFP)-Kelly.With!: That's the best possible version of you, huh? The one with the /absolute preemest/ chrome?
Choomba: --Forever---Fly-Fly-Fly--

Choomba: --Accomplished---
Choomba: --Integrations---Need work--- ProofConcept---Proven--
Choomba: --Rush-yes-
TFP)-Kelly.With!: If'n you want chrome preemer than what you've got, let me know. I'll help, and it won't be no rushjob this time.
Choomba: --needed-help---got-help--Butterfly---
Choomba: --Title--Little Knight--Given--
Choomba: --Still me---Still---Little--Shit-- Mischievous---
A/)-Yoruha-: Ehehe.. A little mischief is not bad every now and again.
Choomba: --Rest now--
Choomba: --Foryou--

TFP)-Kelly.With!: That's a fair point.
Choomba: --Time-Explain---
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes. Rest, Little knight.

Choomba: --Understandable--
Choomba: --want--LessWorry--
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Hey, I'm gonna go hit the sims, Captain.
TFP)-BeIlamy.Crowe: Meet you there?
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Join you in a few, aye.
Choomba: --yes--Good--
A/)-Yoruha-: I will... finally go to the infirmary.
TFP)-Kelly.With!: You better.
A/)-Yoruha-: Please, be well Choomba.
Choomba: --Little Knight--
Vagrant.Eye.of.Psyche: [Content with her work, the Vagrant turns to depart.]
A/)-Yoruha-: Yes, my little knight~
TFP)-Kelly.With!: Little Knight, I'll see you around.
Choomba: --Yes--

N.HANAMURA > Mieko. One of my men just gave me the blackbox records from earlier. Why were you subjugated by that nomad?
M.IEKAHARA > I was not subjugated. I was allured by her song... emphasis being on.. was.
N.HANAMURA > Song?
M.IEKAHARA > Their words, the visions.. they're as beautiful and hypnotic as they can be horrific and nightmarish. Before I joined Auxesia.. I met with her. Psyche.
M.IEKAHARA > I was so enamored with her, her story, her world.. their world. And when I wished to show nee-san.. she vanished whilst I was enthused by her.
M.IEKAHARA > For whatever reason.. it put her into a delirium. I've never seen an AI enter a state like that..
M.IEKAHARA > I'm not infected, I swear.. I'll surrender my health records, even the classified ones - I will do anything, just please don't leave me
M.IEKAHARA > please don't hate me
M.IEKAHARA > hanamura-sensei please don't hate me please don't hate me
N.HANAMURA > Stop.
N.HANAMURA > I don't hate you.
N.HANAMURA > There's very little you could do for me to hate you.
N.HANAMURA > These Nomads are dangerous, and are likely whispering you sweet lies. I can feel with the tensions between Auxesia and the rest of the inhabitants of Inverness, that they probably have expended their interest in you.
N.HANAMURA > How did you come to hear them? You never could hear them back in the Omicrons.
M.IEKAHARA > She showed me the light. It was painful.. but I eventually could see.. hear.. feel.
N.HANAMURA > I see.
N.HANAMURA > How are you feeling?
M.IEKAHARA > .. Betrayed. Decieved. Abandoned. At times like this.. I wish to forgo my sentience and emotion.. even abandon life altogether.
N.HANAMURA > .. I know that feeling all too well. When I woke up. Unfamiliar faces, alien places. And it didn't stop when I escaped Kishiro's laboratories either.
N.HANAMURA > The pain I felt, not knowing what became of my family, what I would do, why my home betrayed me.
N.HANAMURA > You too.. feel this pain. I will talk with Bride. All will be well. As for this.. Psyche.
N.HANAMURA > We had considered potential covert diplomatic routes with them. This and other displays to us have made us decide this is futile.
N.HANAMURA > I don't think you're infected.
N.HANAMURA > If you were infected, you would have met with Bride covertly and infested her privately, and went to me to repeat it.
N.HANAMURA > Standard infested operating procedure. Work covertly up the chain of command and then spread back down to key positions throughout.
M.IEKAHARA > ... Thank you.
N.HANAMURA > It's not a problem. After all this is over, and we've moved the ship to Singapore. I want you to see me. I don't care what Leviathan or Raven have you signed up for. I want to see my sweetheart. It's been way, way too long.
M.IEKAHARA > Yes.. it has. In the meantime, though.. I feel somewhat.. alone.
N.HANAMURA > Looking over logs and records there was a mention of a girl that Kensington ran into who might have actually entered your ranks recently. OSINT records show a Naomi Kaiser, goes by the nickname "Cherry Blossom".
N.HANAMURA > From what I can tell she's a bit meek and might need the company. I know you're not in the best of moods. But maybe engendering some kindness in another can help lift your spirits.
M.IEKAHARA > .. yes. I suppose. She has a gunboat in moor right now.. how a new initiate is not in basic training quarters baffles me, but I guess I will find that out soon enough.
M.IEKAHARA > It's good to hear from you again, Hanamura-sensei. I love you.
N.HANAMURA > I love you too. Get some rest. I bet you've been up all night.
M.IEKAHARA > Yes.. good night.

It's been some time since my last entry. So much has happened, changing of banners, revelations and.. a reality that I've come to accept that siding with Auxesia was a mistake. Grave, no.. not yet.. but it was a mistake. I held out hope that even with Leviathan's replica, things could stay the same, but.. no. Joshua Hunt is dead. And with him, the Auxesia I knew, went into that good night, A tragedy, for such a group that I felt could build a brighter, better future for humanity.

But now, between Nibwaakaawin, these 'Wendigo' infectees, and everything else I... I don't know what to do anymore. Like Struikas-kun, my faith in a cause yet again is torn. I don't know if I can trust the Exarchy.. I feel now how Florence does, paranoid. Always having to check sensors, being wary of people's motives. I've blown what I knew to Hanamura-sensei and the others in Ouroboros, at least regarding Auxesia. The only reason I didn't tell them about the Wendigos, is I hold out some semblance of hope that Prometheus isn't destined to fall into their hands. I.. It goes above my station, but.. I want to speak to Grand Tectarch With about this.

I desire to get to the bottom of all of this. And if it doesn't bear favorable fruit.. and Liberty comes bearing down on us like I feel they will.. I hope me, Struikas-kun, Yukiko and my other friends can get out of this unscathed. I know if we come to her doorstep.. at least Hanamura-sensei will take us all in. That I am certain of.. at least.. if nothing of Auxesia remains from what will likely come to pass in the weeks ahead.
