@t0l
Yes.

@Mr.Cardaminum
Loyola is Basque, not Spanish or Italian. I took spelling Dona over Donna because it's written this way in vanilla infocards. Well, there's no fear to oppose "government" and cartel at the same time.

"Donna" is Italian. Doña is Spanish. Dona is Portuguese. None of these are Basque because of completely different language group. Therefore for authentic RP to reflect the culture, if you are after it, you either use Spanish/Italian variant (as Malta is predominantly Spanish but as the Italian admixture was RPed long time ago, now it is accepted too) to reflect the dominant cultural influence (like the real bearer of Loyola surname, who was acting under Castillan culture). Or you can use Basque equivalents should you find one (like jauna for men). Mix of Basque name and Portuguese title looks odd.

Gotta love how the IMS looks like a Discord chat.
Way classier and arguably less painful to write in than the usual reporting channels.

Maybe, because there are no Basques in Portugal and Basque people have no relation to Portuguese whatsoever?

Until someone proves otherwise, Basques are Spanish and a region of Vasconia (Navarre) is thoroghly hispanicized.

Just saying. I don't think having a Basque last name excludes the faction being essentially Spanish.

After the centuries of blood mixing, I won't surprised to meet Rhinelander with a Slavic name and African appearance.

The faction writeup is looking very simple and I like it. Kudos toward how it looks. I wish your faction the best luck and hope we can have some RP soon.

@"Altzek"
Thanks, I had that idea back in 2017, got to implement it only now. We'll see how it works out.

@Mr.Cardaminum
As for the matter of an abstract discussion. It's not like colonial nations ever had mixed cultural traditions. I would not see an issue for some traditions of Basque and Portuguese things mixing for 800 years. What makes you project strict IRL nations and geography is beyond me. I see no problem in using and mixing everything from Italy, Spain, and Portugal to Latin America.

@Groshyr
Thank you.

I like what I'm seeing in the faction writeup, though I have yet to meet you in game. Still, I have some ideas for Planetform that may involve hiring a group of mercs like yours for some less savory work. If you're open to it, we'll be in touch when the circumstances call for it.

I am afraid we are not working with the House affiliated factions, including corporations. Since the organization is having an Outcast origin, I want to keep it as unlawful and close to vanilla as it gets.

But if your faction will get outlawed by Bretonia, we will be happy to help.
