I can't think of any specifi reason why not, it would be possible to set it up so that accounts are synced ever 60 seconds, but I'm willing to bet that in a few days server usage will go back to normal so it wouldn't be needed. Then, once use is normal again, you would only have ~30 players on each server during the off-peak hours, which would kill RP. Even if you kept both at over 150 players you still couldn't RP with people on the other server. The only way doing this would make sense is if players stay near 200 for weeks, and even then it's a distant maybe.

Yeah fair point, but probably with the new mod we'd be getting a lot more new people, especially at my evening time when everyone gets back from school, work, college, wherever.

Already made experiences with something like that in different communities: people will always try to join the populated server and leave the other server dead even though it would have been possible to fill both from what the different connection attempts showed. it always ends up this way. Waste of resources. don't do it.

Eh... actually it's already happened. The dev testing server had to be password locked, because we had 4 or 5 random people starting chars there and trying to play...

Also, a lot of devs are spending more time on the testing server because they can't get into the RP server:P
