We are not just an ordinary Junker faction. WE are the elite Smugglers of Sirius. Our goal is to become the most respected and feared smuggling clan on the server.

Basically, we're allied with the junkers because they've got their hands in the pockets of everyone. From Corsairs to Outcasts. Another reason is because Yanagi is right in the middle of one of our main smuggling routes, so we can stop off there and resupply if we need to. We're "Not just another junker faction" We're a smuggling faction, and that's really all we do. We don't salvage anything, we smuggle, we are the opposite of all the trading factions on the server who trade legal goods. We go from Alpha, to Gamma trading whatever we can that makes the big bucks and we do it with RP and escorts. The whole jazz.

The bumps are there because we wanted feedback, no one was posting, even a "Meh" like you did would have done just fine. It didn't hurt anyone.

Roleplay is dead. Long live Powertraders and PvP I guess.

First: You've got a picture in there that's 800x286 pixels. The maximum signature size is 700x250.
Second: Your other picture in the rotation fills the full 700x250 boundaries by itself.
With an image that big, you can't fit any text below it. Please fix this.

Quote:The Smugglers Code
You are not to stop for any Pirate or Law man. Doing so will jeparodize everything we have worked for.

You will not drop your cargo for anyone but another Smugglers Coalition member. Doing so will jeparodize everything we have worked for.

You will not answer commands, "halt, stop, cease, or hold". Doing so will jeparodize everything we have worked for.
These bother me a bit, because they seem to support the absolute worst trader/smuggler RP possible. Death before cargo loss/pirate tax, no matter what. No live to fly another day, no money in exchange for your life. It puts me in mind of the (moronic) smugglers you see on occasion who openly flaunt their activities in system chat, then just cruise in and speed dock on Manhattan while the lawfuls have to order you to halt before shooting.

Like I told you on Skype, Leo, it looks fine. But you still didn't change Black Squadron to just The Order:P.

Smuggling factions are, to be honest, needed in Sirius, because it's either you're a lawful trader, military officer or generic pirate on here. Smugglers are a niche that need to be filled. This would do it.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. I was aiming for the "no loss of cargo" to a smuggler because it's the primary goal of them to get their cargo to where it's going. What I meant to say is when you're going through a system and a lawful or pirate tries to stop you, you keep running.

Another point. You said openly "flaunt" their activities. We maintain radio silence throughout the system when there are lawfuls present to avoid being stopped, and we are not scared to payoff a lawful or give the pirates some of the cargo if they are willing to back off. I'll re-word it to support these points, it was just bad wording on my part.

Yep, you're right. I played WoW since Beta. Just quit and came back to Freelancer.

EDIT: I tried editing it to make it sound better and failed. The goal of a Smuggler is not to just drop all their cargo for a lawful. But you put it so well as to say that it's horrible Roleplay. However, why would a smuggler, whose looking to make money at no matter what, drop ALL their cargo for a Lawful, or give a pirate, who they are supplying with cargo from the houses, money and lose money. It's like paying the people to give them cargo, and that makes no sense.

My point is that it's generally consider pretty bad RP for a trader (and a smuggler is just a trader who deals in contraband) to put more value on his cargo/profit than his life. Trader gets stopped by a pirate and ordered to drop all his cargo or pay a tax, but runs (knowing he will almost certainly die) because it's cheaper for them or just out of spite. It's fine to want to get your cargo there safely and completely, but very few smugglers would throw away their lives (as opposed to just risking them) for a single load of cargo.

Likewise, it's horrible RP to dock on a planet/lawful base right after lawfuls order you to halt and/or drop your cargo. Not saying you guys will do this... But please don't. Be sneaky, most smugglers are much too brazen. Drop stuff off on Junker or similar quasi-unlawful bases (Barrier Gate, Freeports, wherever depending on what you're hauling) if there are lawful forces around, often the profit is only slightly below what you'd get for taking it to your optimal destination.
