I found this strange rock that seems to be split in two, I have been able to deduce that large amounts of energy emanate from its center, I have the theory that it is a Nomad artifact. Some measurements will have to be made in a ship with the proper equipment to know more.

Now, the most interesting thing about that system is an alien structure in the shape of a monolith, actually iy looks like three interlocking monoliths, the sensors of my ship were triggered, HUGE amounts of energy emanate from its interior, when I got closer I could see these bubbles of totally stable energy derived from its interior, I left some samples in Leon, it seems that it is what is known as "Azurite Gas", a remarkable substance of which we could do tests for the improvement of our guns and reactors for a stable energy source.
And as I was already close I could not avoid going through the neighboring system of Alaska, it seems that the Liberty government built a super-gate to the Nu system, this is something very recent according to what I have learned from outside communications.
Alaska is a dark system, covered by a large ice field, where apparently Liberty has done some interesting experiments and maintains a very active military presence, I couldn't stay long, it's a hornet's nest. It seems The Order were already there.

Now, to the business. It seems the Council has some interests in Sigma 17 and cannot cope without our involvement. The Council wants to lead the offensive to occupy planet Kurile, apparently. Still, do not overextend yourselves - our interests in Sigma 17 are not well represented.

I personally have made some preparations for an interesting project that could change our lives significantly. We entered the system unmolested by the drunken shits of Arranmore and made our way to the north mining fields where we happened upon a large, but empty Samura transport and an industrious little Bretonian mining speck. Seems that before they die, somehow they managed to send a distress signal, shortly after, a wing of BAF and Mollys from Dublin appeared, we managed to escape safe to Leon.
