Yeah I would see more of a cease fire and then an agreement with terms favourable to kusari.

The whole point of a hypothetical argument is to forget about how plausible the question is & not waste time stating that it won't happen.

In this 'what if' senario, I figure Kusari would install a puppet, & prop up the Bretonian economy in order to win the hearts & minds of the people. The shattered remnants of the BAF & BPA would go underground & fight as enemies of the state for however long it takes to regain patriotic control, & Kusari would have a nightmare of a time controlling multiple uprisings.

Very intresting.

I think Kusari would end up by taking taus as for their zone of influance as well would take planet harris under their control. But wouldnt colonize Bretonia its self becouse, Bretonia its just to big to be annexed by Kusari. And if they would try to do this, I think a huge partisan war would start, and after short period of time, kusari goverments would understant that trying to colonize Bretonia or annex it costs to more then they get profit from it. After war, contributes woult be payed by Bretonia, but not more.

All in all. Kusari gets Taus including Harris and big big reparations and contributions from Bretonia

The Kusari will win temporarily. People will experiment with eating sushi. Bretonia will become for a time the Roundeye Province of the Kusari Empire.

In time, however, annoyance at repeated bouts of indigestion caused by overzealous helpings of wasabi sauce will cause a rebellion. Civil unrest caused by demands for increased rations of fish 'n' chips will overthrow the puppet government.

A new leader will emerge to lead the Bretonians on a war of revenge that ends with the Bretonians mox-bombing all Kusari cities, reclaiming the taus and making the Emperor perform a unhygienic and possibly illegal act on a donkey.

Meh Honestly if Kusari won against Bretonia they would start to loose ground in their core systems.
Thats what i think.

otherwise they would probably starve to death.... or worse...

Indeed, AFA/Hogosha/KSP/Samura aren't really enough to hold back a BD and GC rush, so, they'd have spread themselves too thinly, KNF would be stuck in Bretonia trying to deal with a mad amount of uprisings from the people there because of what Athenian shrewdly pointed out...

Well, I don't think that's ever going to happen, seeing as the privateer wings are mauling Kusari supply lines and I doubt that, seeing as Kusari have nowhere to get food from in Bretonian space, they will be able to maintain their foothold in Leeds for long, either that or the GRN (piloted by admins/admin approved players) will stage an attack on both sides during a Saturday night battle, making a 3 sided war or potentially causing the weakened Bretonia and Kusari to ally against them.

however, assuming that the unlikely happened and Kusari did take Bretonia, they would seriously be overstretching themselves, leaving a thin guard in every system making them bulnerable to hit and run attacks from the remainder of the BAF/BPA and potentially Mollys, seeing as from what I've seen in 3 way molly/BAF/KNF conflicts the Mollys dislike the KNF more than the BAF.

I don't think Kusari will be able to take any of the Bretonian systems or planets permanently. I think trying to just keep control over the Taus is going to be a big enough job for them, and they may not be able to do that completely.

I can see them taking Tau 29, but I don't think they an take tau 31 and 32 and keep them permanently, their supply lines will be too long. Bretonia May take Tau 31, But I think Tau 32 is still going to be unclaimed.

I think when push comes to shove, the Gaians and the Mollies will rally to help the Bretonians in their own way and own time. They may not like the Bretonian Government, but they dang sure are going to put up with the Emperor's Marshal Law over everything. I can see them becoming a major pain for the Shogunate.

Plus this war hasn't really kicked off between the Libertonians and the Rhinelanders. The Shogunate may get a bee in his Kimono about Liberty sending supplies to Bretonia. I guess we will see.

Well since nobody really from Kusari actually replied on this thread..

The Blood Dragons are dwindling in numbers, hardly able to produce a capital ship due to small resource limits, other than gaining it from Kusari transports, i think the AFA and Hogosha would do fine against both factions, if necessary they can get their ships built rather quickly its just a limit of pilots, Samura will give them all the money in the treasury i'm sure to keep them fighting. Not to mention the KSP, which is a rather large force capable of keeping order on a day to day basis, not that the KNF would completely leave Kusari space..

On another note, if the Tau's were annexed, that's fine, they can hold it.
Leeds, a different story, if the lines were drawn at the border of Leeds, and in the Tau's, Kusari certainly can hold it and continue to annex, however i forsee a long dragged out battle with supply lines stretched and under attack by the lawfuls at all times if KNF wishes to go even further into Bretonia, if they go farther than the system of leeds itself the situation dwindles and would have to stockpile major resources in the system to push farther, which is unlikely due to other factions working against Kusari.

As for Gallia, i do not believe they are a threat at the moment, due to internal issues and fueds, in the future though that is up to others to assume, personally i never visited gallia nor probably ever will, no interest on my part.

To many pro-bretonians posting in this thread, its almost as if they act like they know something :P
