If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov
The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor

Smudge brush for the win. Not to mention my sexy ass planet, which looks a lot better when you view it at 45,000 x 45,000 @ 360DPI...*

Yea, **** brushing it out like Greg Martin. HE doesn't even do planet laying thusly.

Go read Alyn's planet guide, don't do it word for word just mess around. Spend a day or so layering it up.*

45.000 x 45.000...
That is... 2025 Mpx. You need more than 2gb of ram to edit that image...
I have a 196 Mpx image of the M51 galaxy at home.. and i thought it was big, until now.

Here is a 35mm negative scan. However please note; I reduced it by 50% as it stands. OH and I scanned it myself. One of the gimmicks of being a college photographic professor. It was like only what? $16,000 dollar scanner?

Please remember this was REDUCED by 50%.*
