Oddly enough, my character's actual name is Glenn Thacker... If Viper isn't taken, I can probably take that back, since it was my snake name prior to the formation of the Raptor wing. As for my rank, I'm not really sure. I used to be Wing Leader of the Serps for a while, but I gave up that rank. Never got told what it was replaced with, though. Royal, perhaps? Or maybe my status is kinda like yours? No rank, but plenty of respect?

Man, to be honest I have no idea. I'd check with Joe but I reckon you're a wing leader or somesuch at the moment.
