Name: Giovanni "Giorgio" Vespucci



Character Summary: I was born on Planet Crete in 800 AS. like so many others, but I spent most of my life on my parents ships. My father was a fighter pilot. His ship "Tempesta" was his proud and joy, and my mother was working logistics in the transport "Leviatano", so being in space was natural to me from childhood. What I know about piloting, I learned from them. My parents were very proud of our ancestry. They told me stories their parents told them about a place called Italy, where our family apparently came from. My parents were Corsaires through and through, so naturally, when the Hessians attacked Casablanca, they did not hesitate to join the fight. My mother ran supplies to the base while my father engaged with other fighters against the Hessians. Unfortunately, they both did not survive the Battle for Casablanca, and I lived my teenage years on Crete as an orphan. When the Hessians attacked our people, I took it personally, so when a counter-offensive was launched in 819 AS, I joined up to avenge my parents and retake the base. This was my first experience when it came to warfare. I saw many friends die, but the tenacity of our people to not give up and keep on fighting finally made me decide to pledge my life to the cause, not only to continue my parents legacy but also to start my own. If given the chance, I am willing to dedicate my life to the cause of helping our people establish our presence not only in the Omicrons but in all of Sirius.

Why do you want to join DTR: I want to uphold my parents legacy and forge my own among my people.

What activities do you enjoy in Freelancer: PvE (Patrolling, Trading, Mining, Exploring, Intelligence, Scouting) PvP (While i enjoy pvp i am currently very out of training for it so i would need to catch up on how things go on Disovery)

Name: Lucas Russo

Character Summary: Born in the now forgotten Alexandria base, son of a family related to the revolutionary movements that have shaken Crete over the years, Lucas grew up and was educated under the main doctrines of the corsair empire, a determined boy with firm ideas which they always led to promoting in him a feeling of union and strength with his people.

He is aware that the empire is not completely united and Ravenna's speeches have projected in Lucas a hope of glory and prosperity for the corsair people. He is also aware of those enemies who are against revolutionary ideas, which has led him to learn more about the DTR and end up sending his recruitment application.

For him, this would represent the special opportunity to do something useful for the empire and spread his word throughout all sectors.

Why do you want to join DTR: As mentioned before, help the empire regain its shine and glory, spread revolutionary words and crush the enemies of the state or those who threaten the freedom of the people.

What activities do you enjoy in Freelancer: All of them.

Name: Matthaios Demetrios Quadros

Character Summary: He was born on Leon base in the year of 798 A.S. He was the second son of his family. When he reached the appropriate age he joined as a raider, working to gather resources to expand the Imperio. He served the Imperio now for almost two decades where he slowly climbed the military ladder. His only goal is to serve his nation.

Why do you want to join DTR: I want to explore the RP possibilities of a Corsair and also be in an active faction.

What activities do you enjoy in Freelancer: Mining, Smuggling/Trading, but i happily try pvp also

Name: Gustavo Magrina

Character Summary:

The guy came from the slums.

At first he was a simple street punk who made a living by selling various illegal means for self-defense in close combat, like knives, pistols, and lightweight body armor and jackets. After that, given the successful circulation of money in his pockets and the desire to continue working with weapons, he became an assistant to a local arms dealer where got acquainted with more serious firecrackers, such as rifles, rocket launchers, grenades, and military-like armor, until he acquired connections with pirate groups. He worked as a turret gunner on a gunboat, after a couple of successful raids, he acquired combat experience and money, which he invested in the purchase of a bomber because was interested in a higher "percentage" of profit. Which, in turn, was used for independent raids on small ships of onlookers lost in the Border Worlds.

After one aggressive and greedy, unsuccessful raid, where he and his “business partners” were covered with heavy fire, which led to the loss of several souls, Gustavo quickly realized that big money can only be made in a team with power, began to attend raids and DTR military campaigns more and more often, which brought success and connections. Eventually, after several combat appearances, one of the DTR pilots decided to reward young Gustavo with a payment for his useful skills in combat. After looking at this reward, Magrina decided to reinvest it... in DTR! Thus winning himself a place under the Cretan sun.

Why do you want to join DTR: PVP, but most important - community.
And, DTR always offers good enemies with whom you can improve your skills.

What activities do you enjoy in Freelancer: Mostly PVP, but I don’t give up trading and mining, rp and stories. I don’t really like writing lore-stuff, but diplomacy and trade deals, the circulations of money excite me.

Name: Tobias Andrion

Character Summary:

His father, a Corsair smuggler, feared his child would grow into a life of Piracy, Violence and Struggle. The family moved to Planet Gran Canaria. Tobias grew up into a freelancer trading and doing various odd jobs through Sirius. Little by little, he saw House space for what it really is. Piracy on a grander scale. Instead of demanding your cargo, various embargoes, taxes and restrictions took a bite out of a honest person credit. Slowly drifting into quasi-legal business with smuggling and connecting buyers to known fences, he came in contact with what is known as Imperio de Corsair.

While many traders and businessmen see the budding Corsairs as nothing more than pirates, scoundrels and blackguards. In the Empire he sees opportunity, adventure and a life that can be shaped into something more. Tobias now in his late thirties, moved with his family to Planet Crete and started working on improving the lives around him as best as he could. Maybe you can't run away from your blood.

Why do you want to join DTR:

Ola, Kalimera and Chao, brethren. I want to join the Deterrence, seeing as you are the only sane fraction of the Corsairs. What other people call you "pirates, outlaws, savages" is a insult to both of us. I'm seeing you as an organization meant for greatness! I'm seeing a true Empire being born, unlike the Corporate Liberty, Monarchical Kusari and Bretonia, or the soul crushing Rheinland. I'm seeing a chance for true freedom of humanity, a coalition not of subjects, slaves or drones but a gathering of humans, pioneers and adventurers. I want to join and support you with as much as I can.

Although not in my youth, I can provide expertise in smuggling and mining operations. I can help haul cargo, fence contraband and sort Low-Grade artifacts from true Xeno Relics. I will even go to raids against military targets with you, although my eye sight isn't as good as it once was. I can be as good once, as I ever was. Character Summary:
Born aboard a Murmillo-class battleship named "Anne's Legacy", Cecilia's family lineage is complex, and she inherited her mother's beautiful silver hair. Since her birth, Anne's Legacy, has rarely left Omicron Gamma, but tragedy finally struck from within. When Cecilia was 15 years old her father, the captain of Anne's Legacy, was murdered by his own first mate. Unhappy with the captain's lack of progress over the past decade, the first mate and his supporters decided to take control of Anne's Legacy themselves.

But the rebels underestimated the young girl's abilities, and embraced by personal guards, Cecilia quelled the rebellion and ordered the execution of all the rebels to avenge her father's death. Even as a young girl, she showed determination and leadership beyond her years. After her father's death, Cecilia decides to honour her father's memory by renaming Anne's Legacy as Anne's Revenge.

Now 21 years old(Actually it's my actual age lol), Cecilia was taught by her father while he was still alive. She has also had the benefit of nearly six years of experience as a corsair. Now the undisputed leader of Anne's Revenge, Cecilia stands at the crossroads of her destiny, with a big decision to make.

Why do you want to join DTR:
Cecilia is confident in her abilities, but if she is to achieve greatness on her own it will not be enough. She hopes to find a strong enough backer for herself that she will one day become greater than her father. Leading a fleet of ships, not just a captain of a battleship.

What activities do you enjoy in Freelancer:
CAPs PVP/Fleet battle. (Without being modest, I'm really good at this.)

Name: Manuel Jose - "Orphan Hunter".

Character Summary: During a fierce battle, somewhere in the Omegas realm, Manuel was born. His parents were warriors fighting for the greatness of the Corsair Empire. His mother died moments after his birth and his father raised him till the age of 12 and then got killed by an outcast raid at an unknown location. Manuel was a kind and decent person although his childhood was not pleasant. He suffered a lot of pain without his mother and father around, but he was not alone... He was surrounded by his corsair families all the time. Every Corsair fighter was his brother in arms. He has sworn an auth to avenge his father by cutting a thousand throats.

Manuel's life was always a mystery because he was silent most of the time. He disappears into space with his ship and comes back with prizes and rewards. He was known among the corsairs as the "Orphan Hunter" because he was dedicating all his life to fighting for the Corsair Empire. His ship is full of marks and logos of his dead enemies. He wasn't ever satisfied by the count of his dead enemies and that is why he kept going for more... Unstoppable he seems to be, although his body is full of scars. His loyalty to the Corsair Empire is unlimited and his honor as a warrior is remarkable. Some say that there was no way for such a miserable child to grow and become something but he is still fighting and still gathering the dead bodies of his enemies.

Why do you want to join DTR: Simply because I see it as one of the most successful Corsair clans in the history of discovery. I also know 99% of its current and old members - They are a bunch of nice people and they play in groups. Their clan structure is organized although many of them are new players. I am a good friend of the DTR founder and all its leaders. I had good roleplay with DTR during my time leading the Nebula Technologies installation and its business before. It would be a great chance if you accept me to join your fun and be part of it.

What activities do you enjoy in Freelancer: I have played Freelancer since it was released, the beta version in 2003 hehe, It's been a long journey so I enjoy almost all kinds of gameplay. I can trade, mine, fight, and work in teamwork. I also like roleplaying and creating artwork images etc.. for it. I would be happy to help with any artwork required for the DTR in the future even if I didn't get accepted as a recruit

Character Summary: Andrew Mitchell was born and raised on New London, a bustling hub of trade and commerce in the Bretonian space. His father, a seasoned merchant, instilled in him a deep respect for the stars and the opportunities they held. Following in his father's footsteps, Andrew attended the prestigious Merchant Navy Academy in Cambridge, where he quickly proved himself to be a capable and daring pilot. Upon graduation, Andrew joined the Bretonian Merchant Navy, where he and his closest friends embarked on trade missions that took them across the far reaches of the Sirius sector.
