A pleasant day to you sir. Our records are pretty short on you. Was it last year you became Fleet Admiral? You hardly seem to exist any more than a year ago, so you'll have to excuse me if I'm thoroughly not intimidated by someone who was hurried through officer candidacy because they showed a twinkle of talent. I imagine the Admiralty and other ranking officers were few and far between, as better men than you died fighting in a war you were not around for. But allow me to get to business.

There can be no threats of war between the Liberty Security Force and Bretonia. A war in a civilized age requires two governing bodies to decide that, and while you may declare it a war against our agency, it will not be nearly as glorious as you might expect it to be. No, Admiral, I think it would be wise if you did not continue to threaten myself or my agents like your forces did earlier. Again, there cannot be a war between us. It would be something else much more primal.

Onto the next matter. The Liberty Security Force is not obligated to follow any of your laws. The fact we've done so up until this point was merely out of respect for your Kingdom and the state of our alliance, which you so easily dispelled with your "accidental" message to the Xeno terrorists, as well as god knows who else. I'm certain you will dismiss the action as sheer incompetence as you did for the loss of the Incomparable, which again only goes to show the state of your House, but you should begin to wonder who is responsible for keeping track of the Xenos within our House, and why I'm so ready to believe the message was real, and not an elaborate ruse by the Xenos. Furthermore, the Liberty Security Force is not the Republic of Liberty, nor are we beholden to similar regulations that your Intelligence Service may be to your Kingdom.

We do not act on behalf of the Government, nor do we answer to the Government in the way you think we might. You may be surprised to know the Liberty Security Force is largely independent of bureaucracy, unlike your politicians playing at secret agent in the Intelligence Service. As I stated in my last message, the Incomparable has been dealt with. The fact that you, one, failed to even understand that bit of intelligence as it was told to you is astounding and, two, your people had no information on this matter is extremely telling. Surprisingly, an organization long considered extremely unwelcome in Liberty by my agency was outright happy to work with us on the matter. Something Bretonia refuses to do as of late. The Incomparable is gone. Destroyed. In pieces. And with few, nay, zero Bretonians on the hunt for it. Fascinating that, isn't it? Also, tell me. How many Insurgents are you adding to your ranks in a desperate attempt to bolster your armed forces with experienced soldiers? Just the one crew? You don't need to answer that, I can make a pretty good guess.

There will be no apology, not to Bretonia. I have agents to apologize to, after asking them to fight and bleed for Bretonia during the war, patrolling your systems and gunning down prowling gauls and coalitioners alike while our navies defended the heart of your kingdom. To that end, I'll make it simple for you. Go ahead and consider this a refusal, and please sign whatever paperwork you like. Or, make use of your critical thinking, and decide if it's really a bright idea to pull the trigger. Give me a reason, Admiral. Show me a good time.

Department Chief,

The refusal to offer an apology has been acknowledged. Stand easy knowing that the Kingdom of Bretonia will continue to maintain amiable relations with other branches of the Liberty Armed Forces, however until further notice, the Security Force will not enjoy the same degree of cooperation as the Liberty Navy does.

Furthermore, it is unacceptable for us to receive these communications regarding Xenos that there have been none of. We have asked for concrete proof so that we may solve this problem, yet none was delivered. I must stress the need to maintain operational security, as this is as important to us as it is to the Republic. Succumbing to propaganda outlets that are operated by the Xeno movement is a most saddening development and one that we hope not to see again. Regarding the Insurgency situation, the Kingdom has no need to house soldiers for recruitment, as there remains a sizable population that is ready for such deployments. The events around the Incomparable are regrettable, but we have done everything we could do to track down and capture the ship.

Lastly, I inform you that the Armed Forces will impose a travel ban on vessels bearing your group's identification or those that are affiliated with it. They have several more hours to leave Bretonian space or they will be arrested and hanged. There will be no negotiations with those daring to criticize the deaths of millions in a fight that saved both Bretonia and Liberty. The Security Force has proven incapable of remaining an ally of the Crown, going as far as, as previously outlined, threatening with war over the most basic of diplomatic matters.
