Updated with the latest info - Outcasts need to buy from Kreuzberg, Corsairs from Lagos. Every other eligible id should be able to buy from either location.

No. The issue we ran into was that "neutral" IDs like Zoners and Junkers would only be able to "Sign up" for one of the two events, specifically the Corsair one, when buying from Kreuzberg. The event was set up with the assumption that you'd be signed up for both, but it turns out that that isn't how the plugin works. If you buy from Lagos, your destination is Crete. If you buy from Kreuzberg, your destination is Malta.

Lagos -> Crete is about two minutes shorter than Kreuzberg -> Malta, but that was already the case as Kreuzberg is also closer to Crete.

Lagos is a mistake, Corsair start should have been set somewhere in Kusari territory. Outcasts now need to cross 2 Houses (3 even if they go around through Bretonia!) while Corsairs barely need to peek out of the Omicrons.

EDIT: Just realized with this change Corsairs are also safe from Rheinland forces, who would be their primary lawful opponents as they don't have ZoI in 13, which makes this even worse balance-wise.

because yes, you don't need any other reason here. and you can already see the result of it on the scoreboard

You really need to lift restriction on Zoner IDs in Rheinland during duration of the event.

It's not that dramatic a difference. NB -> Frankfurt -> Sigma 15 -> Sigma 17 -> Omicron Theta -> Omicron Alpha. It's only one more jump and it's through lanes. It's longer, yes, but given the last minute nature of the change it's not a big deal.
