The UI mockup was done by BeagleRush, as he commissioned the work. Originally I went for a more circular design that showed the ship:



It was determine that it would get a little too distracting. Other features I have already put in to handle everyone's different tastes is the ability to remove it, or move it around to anywhere on the screen.

There will be a way to remove it yes. A little X button that only appears when the control is unlocked. Currently trying to find a nice solution to bringing it back.
