I will continue to RP in my camera ship (that is under level 30 anyway, so you can't touch him, even if for some reason I was asleep while flying it) until I decide to not RP.
If you don't like me RPing just /ignore it just like you would any other person you didn't want to listen to.
No one is yelling mate, and no one told him to stop RP'ing either...
This is just about the camera ship, it's purpose seems non-rp in nature. If anyone wants to RP, I'm sure he'd
like the ship to be compatible to his RP which will lead to better involvement.
I'm not sure who you RP as in your camera ship, but if it were a reporter, then I'm sure you'll enjoy being pushed around (shooed away:))by the LPI. With a Camera ship it's just not possible.

ok people, as the CEO of this bussiness that my associate and I are currently building I have to state this: The usual "people might know the truth" response to a reporter will hopefully not occur in this company as we look at the stories from both points of view, therefore an un bias report ergo no secrets revieled.
Ok, now I see why no one wants us to use that ship...
as mentioned, its thrust speed is almost the equivolent of its cruise speed. And the only part visible to other players is a little light, making it hard to aim at.
But, as far as I can see it, we could still technically use it for the purpose of using it to take pictures, with minimal RP. We can leave the RP aspect to the people who are suppose to be the actual "reporters".

In all fairness you should be above level 30, so other players can infact interact with you.
Like I've seen many times camera ships under 30 flying into z21. While RP dictates they be turned away/destroyed... nothing can be done.

' Wrote:"But the people must know the truth!!!" ~ The typical news reporter
Anyways, we could use the camera ship in RP, the camera ship would be the camera man. I suppose we could have it be that it is always accompanied by a reporter who would be flying a grizzly or something...
Actually the typical news reporter is more like "But the people must ... Bloody hell, he's gonna arrest me! Ok, ok! I'm leaving... I need a raise for this..." The reporters that go round yelling 'the people must know the truth' are generally the one's you'll find in Hollywood. And they're the ones that are only reporters while the camera is running.
And a note on being impartial when you're a Liberty News Channel: To be honest, it doesn't work. As a legitimate Liberty corporation, you should be aiming for the lawful side of the news and supporting lawful efforts against unlawful groups. An example would be Fox news or CNS, or whatever it is that America has, finding a suicide bomber to get a impartial opinion on terrorism after one of his buddy's just hijacked a plane or blew up a building. It's not right.
Anyone avoiding roleplay while flying a camera ship, especially if they are staying below the level 30 limit
on purpose, will be subject to serious scrutiny, unless they are carrying a Neutral ID specifically for non-
roleplay reasons.
Everyone else ought to be carrying at least a Freelancer ID, as in freelancing journalists ...

I think this is entirely logical if we stop to think about it.
The Camera ship is fast, stronger than the laws of reality allow, and almost invisible.
I'm not entirely sure how hard it is to understand that "this ship exists outside of RP." The infocard should be self-explanatory, but I'm afraid that it is somehow hard to understand, apparently.
Basically, the reason this ship is the way it is is simply because you use it to survive NPCs or radiation while taking photos of whatever you may be taking photos of.
It's not a role-play ship. Its very nature is OORP.
If you want to be a real reporter, in game, use a real ship.
Just because this is called a "camera ship" doesn't mean that you should use it if you're a reporter.
The camera ship exists outside of the RP environment of the server.
