This is an ancient feature that was removed because I believe it was both horribly laggy and mostly useless.
This could also be talking about Gammu AI Drones, which are a specific ship. They used to be absolutely tiny and super fast, impossible to hit and had 6 guns so they could hit you really hard. The only reason you didn't see them literally everywhere was because no one wanted to roleplay the AI faction. Nowadays they are still small and have a lot of guns, but they have the response time of the Titanic (current day), and there ARE a bunch of people who want to roleplay AIs and they all use Sabres and Eagles.
