Unable to Locate LN Ships

I have the same issue, I've tried the instructions here: https://github.com/TheStarport/FLUF?tab=...quirements however when I try to run the game I get this pop-up despite the fact that I already installed the DirectX End-User Runtime. (although when I did, it said I already have the latest version installed)
