I now know how to spell "Oui."

Other than that, Gallia hasn't done much for me and I do not believe it's likely to to do anything but thin out the server population and give more chances for OoRP players, equipment, and ships in the near future.

There are no obvious links to any past organisation in Gallia really.
That's what I've gathered anyway.
So no new knowledge of French history at all i'm afraid.

It's increased my knowledge of french history a lot. Before I went through gallia, I had no idea that the people had risen up and destroyed all of the king's space stations. I always wondered where they'd gone to; you hardly ever see french space stations around today.

It would be as if I ask if Rheinland helped me in learning German. D:

I've ventured through Gallia as much and as far as I can with my freelancer. I was RP'ing that some social scientists had paid me to bring them out there. I found a few interesting cargo routes, sold a few oddball trade goods, and got my ship taken out by the npc's so incredibly quickly it wasn't funny. (And they dock-killed me, too, the rotten pukes! Where's my sanction report to file against the NPC's?)

Seriously, that house, from the rumors I've read, seems so incredibly paranoid and insular, they make the Kusari look like wild party animals.

That's why the council is there, to help balance it out.

In response to thinning the server out... Really? Try playing on any server other than this one, or how about this on 4 years ago or so. This server never reaches what I would call a *thin* population these days. The only way to get more people in more systems is to put population limits on, ohhh, let's say Omicron Alpha, Gamma, Minor and EVERY LIBERTY SYSTEM. Everyone just seems to pile up there for the most part. I dont really see a few more or less systems making a huge difference.

The main issue with players interacting with Gallia is it's actual roleplay.

It's insular and secluded.

There are very few people in Sirius who actually have any interaction with Gallia outside of..Gallia.

Till the Gallic house wages war on Sirius (Which would be something that would actually involve everyone in the community) then it will remain as it is. This is something that is actively driving people away from the area, like myself.

I have learned that playing a Royal sucks at times.....

No seriously, I haven't learned anything that I didn't already learn/know from School.

Yeh I agree with a lot here who say that Gallia is secluded. I went through with my Zoner once and got shot up. didnt see that one coming *commence rep fixing*. The Brigands were neutral with me for some reason though O_o. At this time there was only 1 player in the gallic systems not including myself. Made me think that maybe gallia needs to take a more intrusive role in Sirius, maybe move into the tau systems. Shake the war up between Bretonia and Kusari maybe.
