Cambridge, you say? Mmm, yes. I was there. When that Phantom was attacking.
I was in Omega 49, keeping a watch on the BSG, when they suddenly zoomed off towards the Omega 47 jumphole. I followed them all the way to Cambridge, where the systemwide comm channels were full of distress calls, firing orders, and other such jabbering. It was complete chaos; those ELF guys would have been proud.
I stayed a while to listen, and then headed towards the planet, where everything seemed to be happening. However, I got too close. A good number of fighters around the place engaged me-- too much for my one Gunboat. I'm not equiped to handle the smaller pests, after all.
I retreated back to the Omega 5 jumphole, rather badly damaged. I waited there until everything was over. As it turned out, the Phantom was somehow able to bomb Planet Cambridge, killing a few million people on the planet. Local BSG ships and a SiN Tech Carrier organized an evacuation. I heard no mention of the Phantom after the bomb went off. Either it disappeared (as those Phantoms have been known to do), or it was destroyed.
When things seemed to be winding down, I jumped to Omega 5 and docked with Cadiz for repairs. I must commend the Phantoms for their work in Cambridge. They have greatly weakened Bretonia, which will make work all the more easy for the Corsairs.
