Shire would be a great addition to the ID, as a slight offtopic.

I can invision another ship along the lines of the Clydesdale-Percheron evolution, if one were to take the shell dome, enlarge it slightly for 7 turrets (two bottommounted) with a pair of the circular bret engine pods protruding from the rear (these under and inside the cover of the shell, as opposed to where they are on the Perch, slung out in the open). The forward space under the shell is cargocompartments..

How's something like this...

Went with something like the bret gunboat but more sleek looking - need to be fast to pirate and/or run through blockades.

That ship does not have enough space for actual cargo. The wings are rather redundant for a ship meant to weigh 1000's of tons, and its not fishy enough for bretonia.

Similar to a design I've been toying with Tenny, I'll post it up after I get some prior obligations done.

Suggestions;

1; less downangle sweep to the wings

2; more bulk to the body section

If you change the wings to have a very very slight up and backward tilt instead of the sharp down and forward one, it would look alot like a stingray and thus be in keeping with the 'fish' theme.
You could them bulk out the hull and have it taper away into the wings.

Put a container underneath, and it would be perfect.

It looks like a bretonian huntress...
