The prices are fine for me. You just stated the best stuff you can get, and that SHOULD be expensive.

Meh...then only thing there that is truly expensive is the armor. The ship prices and equipment prices are fine as they are. The armor though, I'm still undecided. A part of me thinks that their prices reflect the level of combat you wish to engage in. Then again, who doesn't get Mark 8 on a fighter, they are so ubiquitous maybe we should just slash the price since the cost reflects nothing about the RP or the player.

You can do missions and roleplay without the armor Mk 8 and instead take a few grades lower costing 5 million for a 2.1 raise.

You can do missions and roleplay without a mine launcher.

You can do missions and roleplay without a razor or inferno.

You can do missions and roleplay and slowly upgrade your first ship. Eventualy the money will start flowing.

You can get plenty of money to set up ships without having to powertrade when properly settled, just be patient and don't try something new every few days if you aren't financialy capable of doing so.

I think the Universal armor should be decreased by about half, with the fighter prices about 25% down. That should fix the problem..

Eh, I really don't see why fighters cost so much to set up. Horribly mutilate the prices of the armour upgrades (along the lines of making a Universal Mk. VIII cost 5mill) and drop the price of Minis/Infernoes, ships, and guns by maybe 40%, I say.

I agree with the armor decrease. Instead of decreasing the prices of fighters, is it possible to have them come with guns, like some ships do (mining ship anyway, I think - at least it did). Eagle could come with Flashpoints
