Yes, the Angels do very much exist, Leo.
You seem like a nice experienced guy and all, and I'm sure most of us wouldn't mind having you in the gang, but you can't create a character just like that, without first joining officially with us.
Talk to Tazuras or Sassafras about that, at the moment.
And to poke the balloons of rumors of the Angels' 'disappearance', no, we have not disappeared.
I still log in on mine every now and then, and not to mention that "Angeling" is not a job that's done just on your Angel char, but on any char you might be on, whenever you may spot someone in need of help.

then I guess I'm going to have to bring them back.

P.S. If The Angels DO still exist on Discovery, I've made an Angels character "[The_Angel's]Leo".
First, what swift said. Using the tag of a faction you are not a member of is against server rules as well I believe, so not the best example to be setting for new members.
You dont have to be an angel to help players, anyone can do this. If you are speaking OOC though when helping someone, which you usually have to do, just be sure to use a private channel. If anyone complains about this in the future then you can tell them and angel told you it's fine and if you want you can refer them to me and I will set them straight.
As for myself, I have been on vacation for a week so I havent been on a lot. Now that I am back I havent been on disco a lot as I am trying to get my real life in order.
If you are interested in joining the angels, and you think you can contribute time and expertise, you are welcome to send an application to myself or Sass. If it is not on your profile please include all factions you are members of, examples of experience assisting new players and any other pertinent details.
I'll get on that. In the middle of stuff on base here, after it's over, I'll be sure to get it to you.

You fear oblivion. Yet you forget. The universe remembers every atom of your being. Even dust hums your name in the dark. Roleplay is dead. Long live Powertraders and PvP I guess.
' Wrote:Honestly, I am an Angel and my time on my Angel character is minimal. Having said that, I would probably have more hours than some in [The_Angels]. I do my Angel work on all of my other characters, especially my =LSF= and Zoner characters whenever I see someone in need of help.
Just because the tag is not visible does not mean we are not doing our job and/or inactive.
Cannon added a FLHook command that makes it so we're only online when you aren't.
Jokes aside n00bl3t nailed it. I put in a couple hours on my official Angel character a month, usually an hour or two a week, but generally if I'm online I'm here to have fun. But because I'm not on my Angel doesn't mean that myself or any other member of the organization isn't/aren't conduct them/mysel(f)ves in the same fashion that led them(me) to be invited(ee) in the first place(s).
