I really don't have a favourite between Outcasts and Corsairs, however, Alpha is far more pretty than Gamma.

Ironically, I visited Gamma first.

Alpha/Alpha. It's just a much more beautiful system. Gamma, dunno...I just don't like it. I neither prefer OCs or 'sairs though.

Alpha for some reason feels quite cold and dark to me, maybe the starscape having less bright colours.

I prefer gamma, though the quantity of lolwutters (of which gamma is way out in front) is a serious drawback.

I found Gamma first in single player, and spent a lot more time there in vanilla servers, but I honestly prefer the look of Alpha. It's much better composed, and the sun is more pretty.

EDIT: I used to have some really nice screenshots of Alpha... There are certain points where the arrangement of the planets and sun just look awesome...
