Cheeper as in GIMP, cause its free and has basically the same features as Photoshop does.

A question for DBoy, What text do you use to make those? People seam to be enjoying making them and Now I feel inspired.

Well, im an idiot with photoshop, so can somone give me a detailed guide on how to make a user bar thing already....i have one in particular i want to make.....;)

@Bestflyer: Dare i say you can get a "free" copy of photoshop CS2. I will PM you on the instructions on how to get this "free" unhacked copy of CS2.

Adobe got nothing on this! Im sure everyone else has done that too....yeah....:unsure:

That tutorial misses a few things though. Try this one, its the one I used to learn to make them.

Ah, not bad. But what exactly are you going for? Because the tutorial worked perfectly for me. You just have to take the time to do it.

@DBoy: hehehe, that tute you posted has a few missing things too, and all of them seem to overlook the font smoothing:P
