:shok::shok::shok:Those ships look beautiful! I love the StarLancer-ish feel to them! The old ships are still great, but I like the horizonal wings a lot better. It's too bad I don't intend on joining the Coalition anytime soon...:(

I think the current coalition ships are based on those seen in the FL intro movie. You see a couple of fighters that look similar. Might be an idea to stick with that design.
Except for the fact that the Coalition members didn't bring their own ships over with them, and I highly doubt they brought technical blueprints so they could make fighters once they reached Sirius - which I think was never the plan, as they were saboteurs.
Also, would they be using identical ships eight centuries later?
Certainly not.
Otherwise we never would have gotten the reputation for being good at PvP.

Im not talking about blueprints, im talking about basic design. I know there would be some diversity between the coalition ships aswell but the coalition ship builers in Sirius had to start somewhere. They would have used the basic design from thier old ships.
And about the 8 centuries later thing- I also couldn't see someone using the same ship design for 800 years. That could explain the difference in design for this ship
The grill on the engines looks horribly large to me, compared to other ships. Am I alone there?

No i disagree. Insurgent was from many scales funny in its model. Same goes to Bomber and Partisan. I like those ship YF created. However, those arent 'coalition'. Eastern coalition i would say.
