I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus

ok going back to the actual question, I think all the main house to house routes are not too bad apart from anything "leaving" Liberty.

Like;

New London to Denver *LUX FOOD*
New London to The Ring *Berlium*
New London to New Tokyo *Lux Food*

New Berlin to New London *Engine parts*
New Berlin to Kyushu *Diamonds*

And so on (don't have the time to list them all right now)

Anyway the point being.. apart from the Diamond and Lux food runs, all other routes are just about equal to each other (profit over number of jumps). Now that is except when dealing with Liberty (buying in liberty) most routes going out of liberty seem to be slightly less profitable.

Now this isn't that "wrong" on the face of it, for one, I'm not counting "live stock" cargo like VIPs or Passengers (going a little Off topic, but live stock cargo should be in a class of it's own, so that not all transport can actually carry them, anyway back on topic) and secondly Liberty being in the centre as it is, and the fact everyone has to start in liberty, I can understand the routes coming out of liberty not being as good as the other house to house runs.

And finally what's my fav run? well it has to be the one I end up doing the most I guess, and that would be the New London to Denver Lux food run. Not because it makes the most money, not because it's a easy route... no... reasons are;
1. It's the route I used to make my very first million (the first time I started to play disco)
2. The lux food is perishable (btw not enough cargo is perishable I believe) and so time is a factor
and
3. Lots of chances to RP when moving from House to House, but this route is nice because you always end up going through New York and can say hello to anyone new, or take a quick AFK break:D

Yea nice one Raven, I like that.

I've said it once, I'll say it a thousand times: There's not enough RP trading going on around here. Nearly everyone trades out of strict necessity, i.e. to purchase that shiny new BS, so you only see people doing those couple of boring, tedious money runs (we all know what they are).

And I like the idea of making more things perishable.... like VIPs for instance, you can imagine them being stuck in a smelly hold too long and dying of asphyxiation and lack of toilet facilities:P

With a five-cargo space necessity, they had BETTER not die. >_<

I mean, I once jettisoned a whiner into a sun... er.... I mean...

Ho hum, another thinly disguised thread ... 'Whats the uber credit stashing run you do for your next battleship'
To be honest, with the balancing out recently, there isn't one that sticks out from the crowd now.
There are however several, good round trippers out there.
[IND] make an effort to RP every single minute on this server, that means looking around at as many
commodities and bases as possible in an effort to find them. As with any large corporation, they don't give out the information to possible competition.
The money is made, not on pounding backwards and forwards between the two obvious bases, thats gets sooo
boring that people can't be bothered to do it for long, but by spending time roleplaying less obvious ones,
running commodities the destinations would actually want to use. Not hard ...
The last two 'sensible' *cough* suggestions here, came from [IND] VPs.
As in RL, the money comes from a bit of enterprise and hard work.
If you wish to enter into the spirit of trading roleplay, the [IND] Epsilon Escort wing is always available for hire.
It will cost you one mil per round trip, and kill or chase off bonuses extra. They maybe then, be possibly giving
out the odd hint or tip concerning your current run.
IF you want to know the best ones out there straight off the bat, cough up 250 mil and I'll spill the beans, and
the whole corporation can benefit with an early christmas bonus.

Bloody VIPs and passengers, who needs the ear bashing. Push more out, thats what I say. We run em cheap,
so don't complain. Make an example of one or two, generally shuts the rest up ...
Now ****s and ****s, never a word ...
