I believe so far my criticisms were the most helpful since they were fully technical... 700 is about what I use for a fighter...

but then again, I'm not too sure what polycount are you using. Triangles only or rectangles included?

Dont we have one of those already?

I think it is called something like the Train?

Anyway, keep going with this, it could be very epic, you just need to work at it.

This is what I got in document information:
Vertices: 785
Faces: 670
Lines: 0
Triangles: 82
Rectangles: 500
Patch: 0

Total: 2037

alright. in FL, there's no rectangular polygons - all we have are rectangulars. Metasequoia thinks that rectangles are one single faces - they are two. That's why in face, the number is actually simply triangle+rectangle=face.

What you should do to get the real number is

triangle+rectanglex2=total real polycount. In your case, 1082.
Well, that's about a very very light model for a gunship... but it's still not detailed enough imo. too much poly used in wide area that doesnt need so much, mainly.

Ok now that's better:)

Anyways, tomorrow i'll come up with the new update cause i got to sleep - tired like . . . . well yo know.

Edit: It's poly count are better i think:

Vertices: 710
Faces: 1132
Triangles: 1132

the rest of the slots are 0 (zero)

I like it, I just don't think civilians should get a gunboat. Kind of defeats the point of the word "civilian".

You're getting better at modelling. Keep at it!

Come to think of it - is not really a civilian gunship but a freelancer ship. Like the eagle, Roc and other independent ships. So this is most likely an independent ship. Civilians have the option to fight or not in this ship - is their risks not yours;)

Here's an Updated Model

I added few things and eliminated few things as well:

Added:
- Bridge
- Twin-Tail Wings
- Pushed the mings backwards - like an eagle
- A new body
- Windows
- One engine turbine
- Turret bases

Remove:
- Tail Wing
- Deducted 2 of it's engine turbine
- Flat Body
- Small Bridge

I use triangle instead of rectangle. So, the poly-count is 1,564 - i think thats about it I believe.

So, enjoy and leave a comment:)

EDIT: I think we can officially call this one the "Preagle."

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
