I created my configuration, it's custom made. I had no hardware failures, or other hardware problems. If your comp is fried, go to someone who knows how a computer works and ask him/her to make you a stable configuration with no problems.

I think i'm going to start bullet-proofing my computer now...

(Dab, you missed me out, i had to buy a new motherboard because my other one broke (being repaired now):P)

So, im not alone, i know (kinda) how it feels, but at least i still had a computer with FL on it...that saved my life.

Mac's are the worst computers....ever....i hate macs so much its not even funny. Im not one of those guys who supports the underdog. Quite frankly, i wish ATi would let Nvidia get on with it, and that XFX and ASUS would beat all those other companies such as Foxconn into the ground...but hey, thats just me.

I dont even know what/who gateway are, except a company hauling goods in freelancer....

Mac's aren't THAT bad...they have their strengths, too. But Freelancer...? By the Windows, Of the Windows, For the Windows. Apple is vengeful-if I try to run FL on a Mac the disk will probably get melted and secreted onto my lap as I try to boot it up.

Anyway, my condolences, sir. (I, on the other hand, get my machine put online next week, so I'm HAPPY! No more crappy computer!)

Just don't buy branded PC. Assemble them yourself. Branded PC suck. They use to be way overpriced, and of crappy quality...

When I put together mi prior rig, I saved nearly U$S 700 comparing it with the "best" branded rig that could be bought here. And mine had twice the RAM (1GB) and a true video card (6600GT instead of the integrated via unichrome card).
