You can tell last 2 posts were great idea, you don't see very often two brilliant minds making up same idea


hehehe , anyway I want to see this system in game. That would take away unnecessary spam on forums


Well, bounty can be placed like /bounty (name) (credit amount) (time expired)


So name ... any name
Credits ... 1mil - 10mil that would be normal
Time ... it could be 1h , 2h , 3h, 10h, or in days , 1d ,2d, 3d depends what you think... i would prefer days

There was a concept I was playing with for my own game... well, if you get killed while bountied, you'd lose a percentage of the amount you were bountied for. An actual negative to having a bounty. Something like that would keep bounties from cheating with their "friends" though it would open up a couple new problems.

Okay my original idea could be an 'add on' to this basic in game bounty system.

Yeah our current system sucks, not 100% of players use the forums. So it's more direct to introduce a system which can be more easily accessed and more practical.

It can be abused, but so can most things, nothing is perfect.

Percentage taking of the bounty player would make a glitch maybe if player don't have any money on his acc... not sure


no money should be added from server side only taking off player that put bounty and that that was killed like 10% of the sum ( only if player have that kind of money)...

max bounty 10.000.000 ... 10%(taken of player if he has the money) if that would be 1.000.000 and for 1.000.000 it would be 100.000

Well we have all this working now make it possible in game:D.... i mean is it possible at all?


I have just found one more abuse, while fighting in group battles or 1on1. Target is about to die and you place 10mil bounty taking away 1mil from target when you finish it.

So thing would be, you cant put bounty on target and kill it your self. You would only receive amount you paid in that case no add from dead player ( 10% if he has it)

oh oh oh oh!!! the fugitive should be visible on scanners of everyone in the system no matter how far he is:)



this will be abused though .. a LOT i feel. but to prevent people from getting bountied by their friends, just take the cash from the player the set the bounty up. with a MINIMUM bounty of 10 million. that way it wont be used that often.

This was actually on the Hamburg City Freelancer Mod. Someone has say 2million on there heads and they run all over siruis and the consol would update everyone saying "David (Randon name) Is heading down to bretonia from the Tau's. So this made players group in Bretonia and cover all the exits and well it was some of the best freelancer ever.
