quickly poping your ship that holds your hit out to swap stuff is fine, as there is no abuse.
Using it for anything else, especily when you make cash off of it, tends to be considerd abuse.
Its not the cash making.. (because when i transfer weapons to my wep dealer believe me i make loads of $$) The slot saving and convoy's made by same individual are the problem
It is blatantly obvious when it does happen, anyways. No-one can pilot two ships at once. So you'll see them in formation and one moving at a time, or one replying for the other when it's addressed. Saw it outside Freeport 11 once. Alas, it wasn't quite grounds in-character for my Zoner to start shooting, even though I was tempted.
I used to have 15 char's, and i did this alot to transfer equipment/store stuff. As said above, and by many admins in the past. Just do it during off hour's, and best to do in middle of no where so other's do not see and complain(or attack you).

It has already been stated on here (amazing how search can be your friend - see it sitting up there near the top of every forum page?) that:
a) It is acceptable for someone to log in on two computers to transfer items as long as the server isn't so full that you would be denying someone else a spot to play.
b) It is acceptable for two people to play from the same IP on different computers. (My son and I will do that at times, and many of you play with friends and/or relatives.)
c) We have ways of knowing when people ARE multi-boxing - if for no other reason than it becomes glaringly obvious about the time you encounter someone else.
I don't think there's a need to re-hash this here anymore.
