heres the flaw again ships(ie osirus lib dread lib carrier lib bc) as i stated have "tall and wide" profiles and lots of 90 degree angles modern EW tech(radar absorbtion and deflection) work with jagged edges and "low" "Narrow" profiles so even if the stealth isint engaged im still "covert"as its such a low radar track

the spyglass however... thats intresting as its rounded i dident consider it

EDIT: how would i get a spyglass if there a rumored to only be a limited production ship, the hackers arnt the kinda people to leave em around

I agree with McNeo there. An Osiris would make the most sense, I think. I'd refrain from a Spyglass, however - the sheer size could make it frustrating. An Osiris can operate in asteroid fields and whatnot. And make up some bits about it's... covert ability, or whatever it might be called. The original Osiris (the one Liberty built) had a cloaking device, even. Advanced sensor jammers and whatnot aren't inconceivable.

mabye im thinking in the wrong concepct compareing the two the spyglass makes the most sense its broad and rounded*harder for radar) the osirus is "tall and wide" with angles over all if not most of its surface which will bounce radar back insted of scattering it(i use RADAR as a generic term) il lconsider it ,anybody know havcers i can talk to

and for the record its gonna prolly have an LN or LSF iff with a specops id (havent finalized the iff yet)

You could always go without an IFF. Perhaps have no set ship name, even.

Both the Osiris and the Spyglass are originally Liberty designs. It makes no sense that Liberty would conveniently misplace the blueprints for a pair of ships that represent such a heavy investment in military technology (them getting stolen is farfetched enough). Im sure Liberty could begin their manufacture if they had a need for them.

The Osiris would be a good choice because you could RP its cloaking/shape shifting as you already do with the current Fort Louisbourg. I wouldn't decide which one you go for based on its radar profile as, one, there is no way to roleplay detection by radar without already knowing the location of your ship and two, the spyglass isn't as smooth as you think it is. Bear in mind that the turrets on battleships stick out in odd directions.

The Lane Hacker spyglass is primarily a deep reconnaisance ship, but Im sure with the colour that you've added to the fort louisbourg, this can be modified into an assault ship aswell. I'm not sure about forcedocking with a spyglass though.

For the ease of use's sake, I'd choose the Osiris. It navigates tight spaces with ease and has the thin side and rear armour that you talked about the current fort louisbourg having. The spyglass does not deal well with this, but it's redeeming feature is that the spyglass is really rare on the server, so it will appear to be more 'one of a kind' if you know what I mean.

There was a worthy roleplay request for a Liberty Navy higher up to get an Osiris at some point past, if I recall correctly.

It was denied.

That, I think, is very unfair.
Liberty should definitely still have access to that technology, although it should certainly be restricted.

Apparently it was a crap request.
I asked.
