Im talking about not total erase. Like Corsair engeneers are modified the pure osiris to corsair one. Just little remodeling\recolor and new infocard description maybe.

Just to make a Corsair osiris be different then Order one.

So, new model will be great anyway.

Well if its only a re-colour and re-writing of the infocard, maybe add a few k armour and slightly lower the turning to suit the Corsair philosophy of 'bigger is better', but nothing drastic, still keeping it well and truely in the 'light BS' catagory.

Small things like that (im assuming that it wouldnt be hard to retouch the stats, infocard and colour slightly), would actually make it quite unique (in a good way), and seeing as the Corsairs are drifting appart from the Order, it would make sense i suppose. Like getting an outdated ship, welding some armour plating onto it and putting it back out in the field.

I've long been in favour of giving the Corsairs a modified Osiris with some horns, added armour plates, and some stat changes to reflect this.. and maybe one more gun emplacement.

A modified Osiris - that would actually be quite awesome.

Im for remaking a nose like at the picture i attached in first post, a triangle-like, and some corsarish style details. Remove that "arcs" on the top.

I'll try to make a picture in photoshop.

I agree that the Osiris is fine as is. In fact it's one of the better battleships in game, and quite a bit better than the Legate.

I love the idea of just adding a Corsair touch to the exterior of the Current Osiris though. A mean pair of horns in front of the bridge instead of the arcs would be a nice start. Or perhaps a pair of horns on the nose much like the Imperator.

Im imaging something like this with additional horns and brutal parts.

//forgot corsarish-style recoloring.

All that needs to be done is to use the base osiris model and add a few corsair features and textures. Give it the typical corsair ship 'spikes', maybe some close vertical wings on each side like the gunboat has, and then retexture it to fit the corsair ship theme. A full replacement isnt really needed.

Balance-wise, I'd just like to see the corsair version lose some agility (not a huge amount) and gain some armor in turn, to fit with the balance theme of the rest of their ships - heavier, but harder to kill.

Although I think this would be cool, I really don't think it's a good idea to bog down the MOD with another ship that's purely just a remodel/reskin.

That's what the roleplay is for folks, use your imaginations. The current Corsair Osiris is RP'd to have excluded the cloaking device in favor of greater hull strength. It doesn't mean that's what it actually has stat-wise. As someone else said, this really isn't that big of an issue.

"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."
