As for this so called "sucky piracy" please, enlighten me as to how it's any worse than the "2milordai" pirates you see on the lanes everyday. Unlike a hell of a lot of other people out there, we've gone out of our way to make what we do at least interesting.
I really do find it ironic that you, the Order, have nothing better complain about when you fly around minor all day dealing with lord knows what wanders in there. I find it ironic that the people trying to bring any form of roleplay to the server are completely and utterly bashed, the Consortium, the NTF, the HF. I'm sick and tired of this discrimination.
Before you thinking I'm whining about any sort of admin conspiracy here, no, that's not what I'm getting at. I know quite a few of them and they're actually fairly decent people. The problem herein lies with the players who are unwilling to accept any form of change. This is a roleplay server, and roleplay does not equal stagnation.
Yes, we did come into Omicron Minor, yes, we did ask for an Osiris, and yes, we did shoot you. Who knows, perhaps it would've been more interesting if you had actually given us one - but hey, I don't much give a damn, it's roleplay.
As for us being "idiots who tried to attack nomads" yes, in fact that happens to be our RP. We find them mighty delicious, in fact. So you can take your accusations of PvP whoring and shove them when you know damn right well that was one hell of an unfair fight, and not only that but one sparked out of sheer vengeance because you can't take your punches like a man. What's done is done, get over it.
If it makes you feel any better, if you think it would be any more "official", we'll slap on Freelancer IFFs, but in no way am I going to let a few people who are pissed off just because they got shot up and lost influence the way my character or this specific group progresses. Holy damn, we could even slap a tag on if it makes us less, shall we say, controversial?
The simple fact is, we have tried to roleplay with each and every person we come across only to be met by a flurry of "n0"s and "U"s
File your damn sanction reports, whine all you want, I fail to see whatever rules we could possibly be breaking by attempting to lighten this place up just a tiny little bit.
I be honest and say I personally have a hard time enjoying Role-Play experiences in terms of writing and having conversations. I enjoy the PvP-side of Freelancer, never stated otherwise.
Was most likely wrong of me to enter there just to fight (which I wanted to) so I apologize for that. But PvP-whoring is something I will always do, it's just my way of having fun in the game. Can't help that. But yeah, sure I'm reasonable enough to see when I enter a ZOI that isn't logical for my character.
