The Maquis are convinced that the Order is running an elaborate hoax to steal Council's money. Council seems to believe the Order agents that have stopped by, and the GRN high command is rather certain that the Nomads do indeed exist- given that Princess Aurelia fought more than a few of them in her career as a Zoner...

As for the house militaries, the RM have cooperated with the Order well enough to recognize organic weapons and ships and categorize them as "shoot first, ask questions later". Rheinland ships without organic equipment are a bit harder to call on the spot, but anyone with access to the main fleet rosters can run the out-of-date RM IFFs some Das Wilde use and determine that they're marked KIA... which is a rather clear marking that they're not who they say they are. RM that get into scanner range of organic equipment know what to do.

The BAF have experience with Das Wilde, and I'd be surprised if any of them weren't shown what a Scorpion Drone looks like during their basic training... given that I kinda gave siege to the civilian population of Cambridge a year ago... MI5 (or was it 6? I can't remember) also successfully identified one of the two Nomad agents working to get the BAF out of Cambridge in order to ease the acquisition of the artifact known as "The Sword in the Stone". In fact, they thwarted the plot entirely- though it was a bit close, and their bureaucracy means that they haven't really worked their system around staying clean like Rheinland has. They do know some of the warning signs, though, most certainly.

I'm not going to comment on the others. I prefer to stay out of that inferno.

Oh, and the Hogosha are actually allied with the Order, not that anyone takes notice.

The Hogosha haven't done anything with the Order in the past year or so (at least), to my knowledge. The Order have more or less reciprocated.

I'd call it an artifact (teehee) of "everyone needs allies" not unlike the BD/OC alliance. There's no reason for them to be allied... the BD are far more appropriate allies for the Order.

Order/Hogosha relations don't exist in anything but technicalities - and even then, they're dubious.
There aren't any ties, that was essentially added to make life easy on artifact smugglers given the Order/Corsair ties, along with being a remnant of the rather silly "Corsair/Outcast" alliance base that never made any sense. There are no benefits for the Order to have relations with the Hogosha, and I can't see any troubles with not having a relationship. Certainly, the "saviours of humanity" having an alliance with a xenophobic cartel distributing artifacts (that last one never made sense, why exactly does the Order support the artifact trade?) wouldn't be beneficial to said "saviours'" public nose.

I was joking about Kusari, by the way. No need to blow up on me.

That's what she said...

I agree completely, how, other than the Corsair relations, did the Order become allied with the Hogosha?

Dragons make sense, with the Nomad War and such, working to protect Kusari.

We're... trying to work on making our diplomacy make sense.
Unfortunately, there are those who still desperately cling to the nonsensical diplomacies of 4.83.
Sometimes actually roleplaying can be hard, instead of going along with that which does not make sense.

When it comes to Order diplomacy, they honestly shouldn't be allied to anyone except the Blood Dragons.

A trade and information deal with the Zoners makes sense. A cooperation with Corsairs against BHG makes sense, but a full-blown alliance between them doesn't. I've always thought the idea of Corsairs with Osirises was pretty ridiculous, and really just a relic from old versions where the Corsairs didn't yet have their own battleship. Cooperation with the Bretonia and Rheinland intelligence agencies would also make sense. Not with Liberty for obvious reasons, and not with Kusari, because they work with the Blood Dragons, and since the infestation is worse in Kusari than anywhere else, they can't be too sure about trusting the Kempetei.

So basically; Allied to the BD, not to anyone else. Hostile to the Bounty Hunters Guild and Liberty, as well as Nomads obviously, but to no one else.

Order-Hogosha alliance makes no sense whatsoever, as neither faction has ever had any dealings with the other, and the Hogosha are not the best contacts to have for Kusari, especially with the Order has had dealings with the Blood Dragons for over two decades.
