but it will be more RP... i think its a good idea... for me RP means: play the game like it is your live (at the moment) and you cant know whats up in every system in sirius.... its like you lookin at your handy and know where is everyone on this planet... quite unlogical...
and if you jump into a system with 15 outcasts... i have just so say: **** happens... thats live... if you dont want to die go to a server without a skull at the list
There has been threads about this before. In those threads I do believe that it was stated that we would need the source code to turn the system location off. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's what was said.
I'm strongly supporting this. If it is possible to turn it off, then surely it's possible to turn it on just for group members. Although I really like the thought of people announcing the next jump. In BAF we do it all the time.
And you would need to *talk* to people to know where they are - oh my god! On an RP server - talk! Imagine!
[/sarcasm]
Seriously, it would add a great deal to the fun of the game if you just don't know what might expect you in the next system. It would make it impossible for lonely traders like me to fly without an escort. I would have to get some trader companions to share the costs for the escort. It would make it impossible for pirates to scan the chat window to get bigger convoys. I know for a fact that the Banjos (or some of them) did that at least once.
So you actually *could* get a moderate escort without them pirates seeing there *is* an escort and gathering a bigger force than yours. Knowing that without any RP. And I believe there is not a great deal of people that really don't use the chat window for meta gaming. Although I won't say there's none. Kudos to those.
If it isn't possible at all - shame, but we will have to live/play with it.

Oh teamspeak, briliant idea. Because even the last russian in edge of siberia can talk fluently english.
Please note that writing in english =/= speaking english.
Your argument is invalid.

We have teamspeak and we have people from all around the world using it.
So your point jakub963 is invalid please delete it .
The only people that want this to be left as it is are the Gankers.
They can all get on Skype together change out of their Order Chars
because TCG log on ,and log onto their BHG Chars and follow us that way.

We see it happen every day.
Waratah, that tells more about TCG then metagaming.
Now i for instance support this. Why do i wanna know which system the pirate/lawful/target is in? it ruins things. And honestly, it will take RP to a WHOLE NEW LEVEl, were junkers and zoners will be used to information gathering, traders will be forced to use escorts as their totally *insert cuss here* otherwise.
I say we start filing heavy lawsuits against hackers, gather some money and get microsoft to tell us that damn code.
