II . Shield buster or anti hull?
Shield buster: High Shield damages and between light and medium physics damages.
Anti hull: Less hull damages than shield damages for Shield buster and ultra light shield damages.
Example: Laser blaster (very light weapon): Shield damages: 50 and hull damages: 800.
Ion blaster (very light weapon): Shield Damages; 1000 and hull damages: 200.
Antimatter blaster: Shield buster and Anti hull, Alien weapon technology (Nomad), best weapon, rare, unmountable In Humans Ships, Hull damages = 10000 and Shield damages = 10000.
I don't think it would fit into the game mechanics well at all. in the core game mechanics, different damage types actually mean something. each damages the 3 shield types differently. No matter what you want to call your damage type, we cannot change the hard coded damage types within the game mechanics.

Vulcan is a railgun but we are in sci fi we can say anithing we want!!! Gauss can be a beam like TEC Kol Battleship Gauss beam abilty in Sins of a Solar Empire.

I delete Gauss, Kinetic, vulcan and Quantum technologie. Tachyon now is a medium weapon like kinetic damages, H: 1400 S: 80. Mass driver now is an heavy weapon, damages are the sames of the gauss tech. Distruptor tech is an heavy weapon, it can do the same damages of Quantum tech and Neutron is an heavy weapon too and it can be anti hull and shield buster like antimatter tech but damages are 2500 for hull and the same for the shield. Laser tech is deleted because laser is the same thing of the photon tech.
